This auction is for three old and very cool rustic rake heads who's handles have long been lost in time. Around here folks use these old guys to hold coffee mugs. Keys, wine glasses, coats, or an endless array of items when mounted on the wall for a rustic look. They could also be retooled with a handle and be put back into use tomorrow. Lovely Rustic Primitive Vintage Pottery Planter Bowl Iron Ring Handles Redware? Everything that I am listing this week is from the flea market. And from an auction that we went to. There’s lot sandlots of variety, and nifty stuff too- so I hope you enjoy! loveLoveLOVE this gorgeous rustic vintage piece. While it is clear that is was used as a planter in its past. It occured to me that it would be a fabulous bowl for you indoors too. It's got the BEST rustic primitive style- made from clay intentionally rustic, I do believe that it might be redware- look at the bottom and see what you think- I'm not sure because that's the only place that I am seeing the color of terra cotta- so I do believe so. It's a heavy piece, weighing just shy of 4 1/2 lbs- which is a lot as it is a small piece at 8" diameter across the top, 4 5/8" ... morediameter across the pedestal base and 5 5/8" tall. It has fabulous rustic rusty ring handles that look like they have been painted at one time too. See the cracks on the outside? They are from the making of this piece, not damage, as they are not on the inside at all. That being said, I want you to know that I did not fill this piece up with water as I did not want to mess with the patina, but that's a non-issue if it is to be used as a planter or bowl. There are no cracks structural issues though. There's lots of small chips all around- truly can't tell if that's from the making or later, but it all WORKS! I am showing you one indent/divot on the very top of the base where it meets the bowl in photo 15- it is an original indent in the clay from the making. I'm also showing other indents and rustic areas that all look original to the piece- please supersize and look at all- if you love rustic pottery, you are going to love this one. Overall excellent solid and sturdy condition. The rings have surface rust only, and you can see the dark stain on the inside- it looks like a stain from mud- I have not tried to clean this piece in any way and it could

I'm listing these old Cub Cadet lawn tractor blades as yard art. Not for use, as I have not used them, and don't have any idea how"sharp" or functional they would be. I just loved the way you can arrange them- from a flower, to an N, to a triangle to a 3 bladed fan.the ... morepossibilities are limited to your imagination! Each on measures 16 1.2" long, 2 1/2" widest and has a 3/4" hole in the center, with a 1/4" hole on either side. Each one weighs 2 1/4 lbs- so they are heavy. They have just the remnants of gold colored paint, that goes great with the darkened patina of the steel and the light surface rust that cen be seen all over- more of a covering in the center of the blades, and more spotty on the outside edges of the blades. They are in excellent solid and sturdy condition structurally, with no cracks or structural issues that I can find. I do see a CC mark that I think may be for Cub Cadet. These would look so cool hanging on the wall, or even inserted in the ground for your own whimsical iron sculpture! They are barn fresh dusty/dirty and could use a good cleaning. Love the LOOK! Vintage Antique Primitive Rustic Watering Can 1940's Mint Green Floral Applique
Vintage decorative metal garden flower watering can. I'm guessing from the 1940's. It has an attached metal handle as well as a wire handle with wooden hand grasp. It has an applique floral fruit basket on one side. It has 3 small holes in the bottom sides where it has apparently rusted through, although I don't see a whole lot of rust elsewhere. They are smaller around than a pencil eraser. This would make a nice decorative touch to your yard and garden, patch the holes and use it as it was intended or make a planter out of it. Here is a vintage rustic flat or tray used for carrying your small herb. Vegetable or flower plants home from the greenhouse or garden center in. This tray is 17 1/2" x 12" x 2 1/2" It is made of wooden slats that have never had a finish but have acquired lots of character. I lettered"Herbs" on one side of the tray a few years ago-it is not original to the tray. The slats are 1/4" thick and the two end pieces are 1/2" It is constructed of wire"staples" that are now rusty-they must be very long because they are doing a great job of holding everything together. There are no loose slats at all. Also no breaks-just a few very minor splits at the ends of the slats. This is super neat for showing off some of your favorite garden items such as tools. Flower pots, seed packets and so on. It would be great ... morefor all kinds of things sitting on the kitchen counter. And maybe best of all-awesome on a harvest table filled with autumns bounty or what have you. I will add that while this is very sturdy, I would not recommend it for actually carrying a heavy load-such as gourds that have not dried. It will work great as a planter. A centerpiece with some greenery(or some brownery, lol) or carry-all. It's good and solid with a lot of surface rust. The only place that actually has any rust damage. If you look very closely in the last photo you can see about a 2" area along the very bottom rim, but it's not serious. From my mother's shed. three tines are missing and the handle broke off. There are bug marks in the wood but all the bugs are gone. The rake head was originally green and there is still a little green showing. Ready for Spring for you, with a time earned patina that we love. What I have is a vintage, cast iron planter stand for you- it's a planter box that stands on a pedestal base. Very scrolly and fancy, yet shabby, primitive rustic at the same time as it's covered with darkdarkdark rust. It's totally structurally sound, though. The rust has been there for a long time, and you can see some pitting that is light on the iron, but no holes or eat throughs or sharp edges- it will work for you! You don't ... morehave to have a garden to enjoy it, either. Keep it inside- use it to hold your pencils, pens, paint brushes, make up, craft supplies- the possibilities are limited to your imagination! It measures 4 5/8" by 5" at the mouth, 2 3/4" by 3" at the bottom of the pot, the base is 4 1/4" square and it stands 7 1/4" tall. It weighs 4 lbs.
