I checked and ... moreit is water tight and the handle is also nice and tight. The top is marked with a#8. Holds approx one gallon. There are areas of wear and markings on this can but I think it just adds to it's character. Take a look at the pictures and ask all questions before bidding. It is 12" tall to top of handle and is 7 1/2" in diameter. This watering can comes with two sprinkler heads. Both having the remnants of the original red and green paint. Both heads fit the spout. One sprinkler is about 3 1/2" in diameter and the other is 2 3/4" in diameter. I will mention that when pouring water through the sprinkler heads water does drip through the screw fitting area. It does not affect the way the water comes through the head. I tried to show a picture of how both heads pour. If you look close you will see it is not a perfect shower but not so bad that you drench the flower pot.

This is an old galvanized metal garden watering can with a red sprinkler head. The sprinkler head screws on and has some dents on it. I think the sprinkler head is copper because there is green patina on it. There are some rusty spots on it. But overall it's in good condition. No holes in it, but it is old and has the powdery texture on parts of it. It measures 8 inches tall and is 15 inches from handle to end of spout. The can is 7 1/2 inches in diameter.
