This is a pair of ornate antique cast iron fence sections. They each have a piece missing from the bottom which you can see in the pictures. It is not a reproduction made to look old. They measure 28" and 30" high x 9 1/4" wide. 8 1/4" wide in the center. We also have some other pieces listed that are complete. It is available for pickup or can be shipped by Fed Ex ground for 19.80 including insurance to the lower 48 states. If purchasing more than one piece please e-mail for a combined shipping invoice. Condition is very good with normal paint chips. Very little rust on this one. No Cracks or Breaks. Marked 13 on the back. Measures 30 x 19 inches and stands 10 inches from the wall. This is such a pretty piece of New Orleans architectural cast iron. It is an old French. New Orleans style, seen everywhere. In gates and balconies, cemetaries and walkways. This came from a very old local estate; I'm sure it's over 100 years old. I was told that it was made by the old Tredegar Iron Works in Richmond. VA. It's a very heavy, wonderfully ornate decorative fence. It was encased in concrete at the house when I obtained it. There are J hook rods through the bottom of the posts. You could probably re-use them if needed, or just cut them off if you are using this for décor; as they are not needed for display purposes. This item is just the panel part of the fence. With 2 posts. There is NO door or gate function; this doesn't function as an actual entrance gate or security fence. As you can see from the photos, all 3 parts are separate ... morepieces and would need to be reassembled/put back together to make 1 full piece again. The posts are sort of loose and would need to be put back together. The finials are a pretty fleur-de-lis style. This fence would be used for décor or accent purposes. Cosmetically. The iron has an old, vintage, weathered patina. It doesn't get more perfect than this! It measures 4 feet tall and is 5 feet long. This Antique Bronze and Cast Iron Very Ornate Plant Stand or Plant Pot Holder has the initals M S L on the bottom. This piece has very interesting overall design. In the Bronze Open Work Decoration there are Faces. Grapes and Leaves and Roping top and bottom. The Faces appear to be wearing Crowns. In the middle half-way down there are two Roping Rings and Griffin like Figures. Decoration in the Cast iron include Fleur-de-lis in ovals and what almost appears to be an"S" in connecting ovals. Condition of the Bronze part is excellent for this antique piece. The Cast Iron Base has some pitting in the finish. Measures 17 1/2" tall, top is 10 1/8" across and the Base is 10 3/4" across. Antique Vintage Wrought Cast Iron Ornate Plant Stand Dragon Phoenix Claw Feet(D)
This is an antique or vintage Wrought and Cast Iron Plant Stand with a very ornate Phoenix or Winged Dragon design. It also has claw feet. It is 24" tall. 15" wide feet. It retains the original white paint which is rust speckled. Two of the tips of the dragon wings or feathers have chipped tips but it appears to have been made that way from the mold since the original paint covers it. The top is reticulated. The three legs are very ornate. The top attaches to the base with a new bolt and nut. Sturdy and as ornate and detailed as I have seen in an iron plant stand. Beautiful!

I believe it's a plant stand but could be used as an ash tray but we don't smoke so it's always been a plant stand: The top is 10.5" across so we've always used a hanging basket on it with the hanging part snipped off placed out on out covered deck. Antique Victorian 19th Cent. CAST IRON GATE & 5 ORNATE FENCE POSTS ++
BEFORE BIDDING please read our terms and pick up location in Northwest New Jersey toward the end of our description. DESCRIPTION: This lot was all found in a barn. There were no more pieces or fencing. 5-19th Century Fence Posts with Gate and an addition ornate piece from the fenceing. Possibly even well back into the 1800's. Even Civil War period.The fence post are gorgeous, the least one weighs is 78 lbs. they are heavy. The gate a bit on the plain side but early. It appears the posts were connected by pipes and the pipes went through the ornate pieces. But only one great ornate piece left. Now it appears it will take a little imagination and ingenuity to put these posts and gate to good use. Possibly even plugging holes in the posts and attaching to other fenceing. The posts are approx. 47 1/2" tall. The gate is approx. 51" ... moretall and 37 1/7" wide not counting latches. The gate has a slideing latch that looks like it went into a flat bar attached to one post. But the wired that and added that hand wrought large flip latch on the other side so I'm not sure what they did there. The posts have just a few small chips that are not a distraction. One post has a series of small holes near the top, not a big issue,these are thick heavy and strong. Rust is not bad at all, they were stored dry. The top of the gate is bent some and you will see one piece of curled flat iron broken off. If that bothers you it's as easy as it gets to weld a piece on before painting. Last I will mention the flat bar that the latch goes into does need a spot weld. As you can see, top finials must be tightened down. Exactly as found. For pick up, your dealing with between 500& 600 lbs. of iron. Some photos are a bit dark in the shade but please enlarge all 12 photos and you should have a pretty good look. One section of the seat back was painted silver for some reason. On same silver section, the tab is broken off where you bolt the section to the one next to it. Vintage Ornate Cast Iron Bench Legs / Ends -Victorian-Gothic-w/ Lions Head
This is not a newer light weight set of bench legs. This pair weighs 50lbs of pure cast iron. I used to refinish these and paint them before selling them. I have learned since, that some buyers like the patina in it's natural look. These have only minor surface rust and in great condition as is or ready for you to refinish them. Lots of designs on these legs and far from just being plain. I like them both ways but I prefer them when they are refinished and some of the details highlighted with a different color than black. I've also done these in forest green and John Deere green. I don't think it matters what colors you use, they just don't make them like these anymore. The set I done and put on my porch, I used composite wood, no worries about it rotting and hit it with the pressure washer once a year and it looks new again. ... moreThe tallest part stands 28" from the ground and the feet on the legs are 21" apart, makes for a very sturdy bench. The last pic shows the thickness of the armrest, another way of knowing if the set is modern or not, those will always be less than 1" thick on newer ones. Almost impossible to date these, this design has been used since the turn of the century and very few are ever marked. The support strap is still attached, these are very easy to straighten and shape however you need them to be. I have another set of these listed with a little different look than this set. Set of 2 Vintage Victorian Bench Ends Bench ends stand approximately 28" tall and 21" wide from foot to foot. Very ornate design. A lions head in a shield like design with stars and floral patterns snaking throughout the bench. Beautiful piece. I was thinking of restoring this but instead I am going to let the buyer decide how they would like to refinish it. I almost like it the way it is now best. These are some heavy duty bench ends, made of cast iron and very heavy. There are some signs of surface rust. Mainly on the backside of the bench ends where the screws are. Victorian Cast Iron Ornate Plant Stand 28 3/4" tall 16" diameter filigree top
This appears to be a very old. Cast iron, ornate plant stand or small table in the Victorian garden style. It is 28 and 3/4" tall and has a 16" diameter top. The legs form a tripod attached to a central column. Part of the pattern includes cranes on the legs. It is in an unrestored condition. There is no damage to the integrity of the cast iron just paint loss and light rust which forms a nice patina. It seems to have had only one coat of paint. It is"heavy" and I will not attempt to ship it. I offer free pick up at my home. I recently had reason to take another heavy purchase to UPS and asked advice on shipping the cast iron plant stand. They gave us an estimate of $20. for boxing and an example of $80. to ship the stand to the west coast. Shipping would naturally depend on the destination. Ornate Antique 1880's Victorian Large Cast Iron Garden flower Urn - NICE!!!
This is very nice urn- w/ nice patina. Old paint, moss, etc- most likely 1880s- multi part urn- appox 39.5 high by 33 wide at is widest- as shown very good condition w/ no real problems just normal condition for an outdoor item of that age. I have had a lot of urns and this one has just that little bit extra w/ the applied fancy decoration around the middle and bottom sections- also w/ a name plate"leavenworth" ALL ORIGINAL

Victorian Cast Iron Fiske Garden Fountain base 66" round Very Ornate L@@K
This is what I believe to be the base of a fountain that was either made by Fiske or possibly Mott. I can find no marks on it. The dimensions are as follows: It is 66" in diameter. The center opening is 46" It is 5 1/2" deep. And 11" wide. It is made of cast iron, and the two pieces weigh approx. 150 to 200 pounds each. The two pieces bolt together. It does need sandblasted, and painted, but would be beautiful for either a fountain, a fish pond or maybe even a fire pit. I took a close up picture of one of the pieces on the back side that you would use to pick this up with a crane or something else. I also saw where someone had taken it apart and used the two halves as arches. They welded each half on the top of antique cast iron poles. Gave a great effect. There is some damage which I took pictures of. There is one section ... morethat's broken out. Which needs to be welded back in, and a piece of flat metal welded back on the top. I think my pictures will show what needs done. There is a small amount of cement residue on the back side. Which leads me to believe what was done the last time it was used was someone poured concrete and then set this down on the concrete slab, which would create a pond for a fountain. I'm assuming that's how it got the chips broken off, and the piece broken out, when they were probably trying to pry it off the concrete. That's just my guess. I'm not really sure what the shipping would be. But I'm sure it would be fairly expensive. I will assist whoever buys it in trying to find someone to delivery it. The shipping will be the sole responsibility of the buyer, but I will do all I can to help find a company. I put in the ad that it's a pick up only, but again, you can buy it, and I will assist you in finding somebody to ship it to you. If you have any questions please ask. And I'll do my best. A very nice painted cast iron set of victorian garden chairs in an unusual pattern- heavy castings- in very good as shown shape w/ some normal wear. Surface rust etc. no real problems w/ no restoration or repairs except the one little mend in the back shown in pix 4 which is just where the two back pieces came together w/ the metal screw is re welded along time ago- very very minor. these are in really good shape w/ the feet all good etc. Would look good next to your cast iron garden urn. 34 inches high and 24 wide at there widest.
