Not sure of the age. But has an old Victorian Vintage look and made out of a cast iron or pot metal. The top and bottom were casted separately and then bolted together( the bold is rusty and looks old) Can be used as a decorative planter or garden urns. It measure around 9 1/2” tall and 9” in diameter. It weights over4 pounds. At some point they were painted with a drab green to rust orange color and then beautifully aged to get a pastel old patina look. A natural pitted rough surface which is natural for cast iron. Very beautiful and classic!

For sale is a rare antique cast iron stand that I thought was for plants but have been told was an antique water heater stand for the kitchen? It makes a unique primitive plant stand and certainly is a one of a kind item. There is some original greenish pain and some rust. This is a 2 piece stand as the top lifts off. I placed a flower pot in the opening for pictures. Size is 15" tall and 13" wide. ATQ Cast Iron Planter/Urn Garden Flower Pot from 1850 Carriage House
A beautiful antique flower planter/urn/pot. It was used at an 1850's carriage house that was unfortunately being torn down for a parking lot. We salvaged what we could so it wouldn't end up in a landfill and lost forever. I don't know it's actual age but that is where it came from. It would make a wonderful addition to your yard or even used indoors. Made from cast iron that looks like it was put together by hand. You can see where the seams were welded etc. but it does not detract. It adds to it's beauty. This beautiful planter measures approx. 14 inches tall by 11 1/2 across at the top. Condition seems appropriate for it's age. Please look closely at the pictures as they give you the best description. I can't possibly know what one person will think is a flaw and another an enhancement. There is some surface ... morerust. I did only very light cleaning as many like items left as is. If you look at the third picture. You will see a thin crack on the rim. It it not really easily seen with the naked eye. Even with the thin crack it is a gorgeous old planter. You can see in the pictures that it kind of changes tone colors depending on how the light is hitting it. For those who may think only a"Top Rated" Vendor can be trusted to be a good seller. I lost my status because I didn't list/sale enough in a certain amount of time. Frankly I don't think it goes hand in hand but I will have it back when I sell more items in a certain amount of time. They actually told me I got it back but I don't see it so who knows what they are doing. Please look closely at the pictures as they are truly the best description and as such a large part of the description. You can super size to get up close looks. Color may vary due to resolutions. Up for your bidding is a vintage(1920's? cast iron. Cemetery or garden, lily-shaped-flower, urn/vase. It has a cast iron stake-base- is meant to be driven into the ground. It is 9" tall, from the top to the very bottom of the stake. It is 5" tall from the top to the bottom of the flower. It is 5" diameter from flower petal edge to flower petal edge. The black cast iron has a baked-on green tint to it. It is in excellent condition- no cracks, nicks, chips nor scratches. This was bought at an estate auction. Antique cast iron flower Lilly shaped cemetery vase or urn. Stake base that was driven into the ground and flowers were placed in it to decorate tombstone or burial place. It is rusty and shows no maker mark but believed to have been cast from 1900 to 1920's. Total measurement is 9 1/2" long. The vase itself is 6" long with the opening at 5 1/2" across. Great New England barn find.

30" tall x 20" wide. The base is 14 x14" This is very well made. It came from an estate, and will look good in any mansion, garden, yard, patio, lawn, deck, or palace. If you like it clean looking the paint will come off easily. It is heavy gauge and will last a life time. It's about 1/3" thick. When pics were taken there was ice and dirt in it. Picture it with a new coat of paint, black or white. It is heavy so shipping is difficult. You may have to arrange a shipper.
