Up for auction is an antique MINNESOTA CAST IRON TREADLE BASE. Item is in very good condition for its age. Shows some wear on the foot pedal but the rest of it has very good paint. Item could use a good cleaning. measurements are 16" tall 16" deep and 25" wide. This would make a great coffee table. Either cover it with glass and leave the pulley on or cover it with wood with a glass inset. Any way you use it it will be a thing of beauty. Item will be taken apart for shipping. Up for auction is a lot of 9 valve handles made of STEEL o r IRON. All 9 together weigh just over 2 lbs. The Steel and Iron handles are the Strong Heavy Duty type. There are many different shapes. Sizes, and colors. Sometimes when you stack one handle on top of another handle something interesting happens. Please see photos. All of these handles are used. But none of them are broken or horribly mangled. All of these handles have the center valve stem removed. And are ready to be mounted or fastened. Up for sale is one of these vintage cast iron/metal steampunk farm plow spiked gear wheels. These gear wheels are great for yard or garden decor. Wall displays and even repurposed in making furniture or steampunk creations. Each wheel is missing one spike and has very similar wear from age as the ones pictured. The wheels vary from 17 1/4" to 17 3/4" in diameter depending on the wear to the ends. The center hole has a diameter of 1 1/8" and the wheel is 3 7/8" wide. Large Cast Iron Gate Weigh Tether Door Stop 13 LBS Vintage Rustic Steampunk
This solid chunk of steel or cast iron cylinder weighs 13 lbs and it is 4 iches high and 4 inches in diameter with a 1 1/8 inch diameter hole going through the middle. Looking at it closely one can see marks of lathe machining and the top rim is slightly tapered. I have no idea what it was used for. Most likely as a counterweight. Beside the obvious uses as a counterweight or doorstop it could be utilised as a lamp base or base for a sign or supporting some kind of post. Due to it's weight the only economical option to send this is Priority Medium Box. Same cost $12.80 to all 48 lower US states only. There will be room left in that box so if you purchased some of my otther items that would fit the shipping for those extra items would be free. We have the brass spout on one side and an Edison bulb displayed on the other(bulb not included) and all the brass fittings in between! As you can see from the pictures, the arm does go up and down without effecting the light. It's a great look but hard to get that perfect picture to give it it's beauty.
