This is a large crock pot made by N Clark& Co in Western NY. The age of this crock pot is between 1822 and 1852. Decorations on one side only. Color is grayish green. If you need more pictures let me know. There is some damage as you can see in the pictures. One handle is broken off(5th picture) There is a hair line crack on the top(last picture) and there are stans in the bottom from use. The crock measures 12" in diameter and 14" tall. For sale is a rare antique cast iron stand that I thought was for plants but have been told was an antique water heater stand for the kitchen? It makes a unique primitive plant stand and certainly is a one of a kind item. There is some original greenish pain and some rust. This is a 2 piece stand as the top lifts off. I placed a flower pot in the opening for pictures. Size is 15" tall and 13" wide. The bottom one is 7 1/2" wide. The tower is the cool part. You can put a thick mulch in it& plant in it too, I had to dig the antique mulch out of it. Nice antique hanging basket hook/ bracket. It looks to be in good condition. Probably best suited for indoor use as I see a strong wind blowing a hanging planter off the end. Antique Cast Iron Pedestal Flower Pot stand/Candle Holder
We have seen these so many times and have always loved them. Antique table plant pot holder or. As we liked to see them, Candle holder for those big candles. A central upper holder with three that can be swivelled on their hinged mount. From side to side it is about 17 inches and 8 3/8th inch high approximately(though these are approximate measurements to give an idea of size. The three lower holders can be lifted off for storage and this will be shipped to you with these taken off and wrapped to give them protection. We just wished that the people at the estate hadn't gone crazy with black paint. They said that"they had seen on TV that if you paint something old and cruddy with black paint someone would buy it" We had to explain that we would have bought it anyway and it was far nicer with that old and cruddy look to it. This is a Great Piece. An Antique Heavy Ganged Galvanized Farm Funnel with Riveted Hooks that makes it possible to hang from fence or something other. Makes a Great Flower Pot Holder. The Hooks which are riveted to the back side are strong and sturdy. There is a small amount of surface rust. Nothing that alters the strength of the item. There is no rust around the rivets of the hooks. I love this thing. It's Large. Measuring 26 inches long, 27 1/2 inches long with the height of the hooks. A beautiful well made antique/vintage flower planter/urn/pot. It was used at an 1850's carriage house that was unfortunately being torn down for a parking lot We bought what we could so it wouldn't end up in a landfill and lost forever. I don't know it's actual age but that is where it came from. On a personal level. I just love this planter. This would make a wonderful addition to your yard. Deck or even used indoors. Made from cast iron that looks like it was produced by hand. You can see where the seams were welded etc. but it does not detract. It adds to it's beauty. This beautiful planter measures approx. 14 inches tall by 11 1/2 across at the top. Condition seems appropriate for it's age. Please look closely at the pictures as they give you the best description. I can't possibly know what one person will ... morethink is a flaw and another an enhancement. There is some surface rust. I did only very light cleaning as many like items left as is. If you look at the third picture. You will see a thin crack on the rim. It it not really easily seen with the naked eye. Even with the thin crack it is a gorgeous old planter. You can see in the pictures that it kind of changes tone colors depending on how the light is hitting it. The pictures themselves truly do not capture it's appeal in my opinion but after taking many pictures I had to settle on these. I had a hard time getting good pictures of this beautiful planter. Depending on the sun it looks too dark or too much glare. I can honestly say I find it very appealing. THIS IS A GREAT PAIR OF MATCHING URNS/PLANTERS. MEASURING 24" HANDLE TO HANDLE AND 15" TALL. THE ONE HAS CHIPPING PAINT ALL OVER WITH RUST AND THE CENTER IS HOLLOW. THE SECOND'S PAINT IS IN BETTER CONDITION ALTHOUGH IT IS ALSO CHIPPING. THE HANDLES HAVE NO PAINT ON THEM AT ALL. THE SECOND ONE IS HOLLOW IN CENTER AS WELL BUT STILL HAS SOME KIND OF CORK PLUG INSIDE IT. I DO NOT KNOW MUCH ABOUT URNS BUT I PURCHASED THESE OUT OF A LOCAL ESTATE BY ME. THEY HAVE NICE AGE.
