This fine period table measures 29 inches in height. 34 1/2 inches wide by 34 1/2 inches deep and weighs approximately 95 lbs. The flamed mahogany and period details on this table are just splendid. This period table offers its original beveled edge white and grey veined shaped marble top that's in fine antique condition with appropriate age and character marks as common with old marble.After all this table is approximately 170 years old. There are a couple of rim chips on the underside edge of the marble where it rests on the base.see close-up pictures. The marble rests on a conforming flamed mahogany table apron and is raised up on a substantial flamed tapered pedestal and rests on a shaped platform with four out-swept carved legs and brass casters intact on all four feet. Unfortunately you can't tell it from my pictures. they seem to worse than usual for ... moreme. at any rate, the light in the room is not good so i had a terrible time getting the camera to focus and then they were either too light or too dark. the bottom line is that the table is much much nicer in person. it is oval as you see, 46 inches long, 32 wide, and a bit less than 30 tall with casters. it has one drawer that is hard to see when closed, the front being contoured to match the contoured skirt. it is a great table and rolls easily on the casters. it has a sweet pedestal and the empire scroll feet. the feet of course are veneer, the rest of the piece is solid mahogany i believe. i will check it again to make sure and if otherwise i will add that to the listing when i get back upstairs to take a peek at it again. i bought it about 2 years ago and stuck it upstairs and forgot i had it. someone came by the house and had to sell it so they said, but not too bad for what i had to pay. they were not easy to deal with. the grain is just outstanding, however the pictures do not do it justice either. it has a couple of little dents that are not worth mentioning, one next to the drawer which can be seen in the pictures and maybe another little ding or two but maybe not. any tiny impertections do not distract from its beauty or function. it is as solid as it can be and does not wiggle, wobble, or have any loose pieces, the veneer is great and overall the table is in outstanding antique condition. it can be picked up at my home and shipped. i can help arrange shipment if that would be helpful. also i will be glad to do layaway on it should anyone be interested in doing such. good luck.
