It is in very good condition but does have some light surface scratches on the ... morefinish of the wood. The stool is beautifully upholstered, and most likely was redone at some point. The upholstery has a few light stains on it, but it is otherwise in very good condition, with no holes or tears. It is a lovely mint green color embossed with a white rose floral pattern on it. There is also a lovely floral design carved on the wood frame and legs of the stool. I am unsure of the actual age of the stool. It is about 10.5” tall, 27” long, and 13” wide. Solid Cherry.....English Antique Furniture Eastlake dresser commode...circa 1810
This is a charming English made solid cherry antique dresser circa 1810. I acquired this from a couple who came to the United States from England. This piece is consistent with English cabinetmaking.This is made from solid cherry planks. The candle stands which flank the mirror are wonderful.The carvings and hand turned finials are beautiful. The hardware is all original except for the 2 small upper drawers which is new. All of the lower drawers have locks which work excellently with a new key. The hand cut dovetail joinery and hand chamfered drawer bottoms are beautiful. The drawer fronts are 1" thick solid cherry, there is no veneer on this entire piece.The secondary wood is poplar. The mirror glass is new.The mirror is on tilting mounts(it does not stay fixed when tilted. Just let in hang vertically) This piece has lots of battle ... morescars(nicks, dings etc) and some repairs earned over its lifetime such as dings in both side panels about the size of a"pea" The top(across the full width.left to right) has an age separation shrinkage crack which I repaired(you can still tell there was a crack despite the repair(see photo) some drawer bottoms have age shrinkage separations,there are some age shrinkage separations(cracks) in the side panels, worn edges, small stains in the top and character marks consistent with any fine antique.I refinished the top and the mirror frame, after repairing a missing piece of wood around the mirror thumb screw. The inlaid brass keyhole escutcheons are all in place. Most of the dresser has the original finish with a gorgeous patina as you can easily see in the mirror support photos etc. This wonderful piece will look beautiful wherever you decide to place it whether an entryway. We are pleased to offer this beautiful antique mahogany dresser with matching mirror. The maker of this piece is unknown and we believe this dates to the late 1800's- early 1900's. The dresser stands approximately 36.5" high. The width is 21 5/8" and the length is 46" The mirror is made from solid mahogany and has a beautiful broken arch pediment at the top with an applied carved design in the center. It measures 35.5" high to the top of the pediment. The width is 24 7/8" across the ached top and th emain body is 23.75" wide. Made from solid mahogany the dresser has a classic Chippendale style design with applied carved moldings on the bracket feet and reeded columns on the front. The dresser has four drawers with a divider in the top drawer. The drawers are all dove tail jointed and also retain the original ... morebrass pulls. The dresser appears to have had an early refinish job done on it. There are age and use appropriate scratches and dings on the top and feet. As well as a small white spot on the top. This beautiful Empire style chest of drawers came to me from the estate of a collector. We believe it to be constructed of solid cherry and is dates to the 1870s. It features one deep drawer on the top and three standard drawers below. The front of this piece is carved with turned pieces on either side. The cut glass knobs are original and in very nice shape(no major cracks or other issues) We will remove these knobs and wrap them separately prior to shipping. Tonight's Buy It Now Item is a Large Solid Oak One Inch Thick Fancy Mirror HARP w\ gingerbread which is all intact. Because of the largeness of the harp I took the 2 ends off from the center piece which will make it very easier to package and save on the shipping price significantly. I was hoping it would come apart easily and it couldn't have come off better. There are 2 dowels on each end and they slide right out with just a couple taps. Don't use a regular hammer. Either a rubber hammer or put a rag folded up between the wood and a regular hammer would be a better choice. When putting it together all you have to do is put a little glue on the dowels or put a couple brads in from the back where the dowels are. All the gingerbread is intact on it and the whole unit is in terrific condition. This oak mirror harp came from a beautiful ... morebeach house and the harp was in an old carriage shed on Lake George in the Adirondacks of New York where I picked it up several years ago. It's got a brown medium oak stain on it, which pretty much matches the original color. If you have any other questions about this oak harp, I'd be happy to answer your emails. Up for auction is a beautiful solid cherry chest on chest circa 1850. This beautiful chest is very structurally sound with no defects in the structure. All of the drawers Ron good. It has locks in every drawer with a key as well. There are obvious signs of use especially on the top there are some rings nicks and scratches. But it is in great shape considering it is approximately 165 years old. This measures approximately 53 inches tall by approximately 41 inches wide by approximately 20 inches deep. This great estate find came from Ohio. The gentleman I purchased it from said that it belonged to his grandmother. There is no information before she owned it. This is a great style and a great antique piece. It is located in Myrtle beach South Carolina for local pickup only, however I would be willing to meet with in a 50 mile radius for delivery.

It has the classic Yoke-Stand and Framed Beveled Mirror with prominent carved appointments, all in the original natural oak wood. It is a Four-drawer dresser, and the top bank of drawers are the classical double-bow-front. This Dresser is well over 100 years old. And its construction is truly frontier-old school, and features absolutely ZERO plywood or particleboard. It is all SOLID Oak Wood, and the only'veneer' is the facing on the Bow-Front Drawers. The floriated carving details are also solid oak, and were applied with'brad&glue' The Mirror Glass is original and beveled. It is starting to show a few minor age spots in the silvering. It is in great structual condition. All 3 drawers work well. It has no missing parts breaks or cracks. All drawers have there wood bottoms. It is very clean. It appears to have been refinished many years ago. The drawers are thick veneer over a solid secondary wood. The bottom drawer does have some cracking in the veneer but has been sealed when it was refinished. Also the bottom drawer has a small veneer chip and 2 places were the veneer has been patched with walnut veneer patches which just adds character to the chest. All the drawers have there locks but I do not have a key. The top of the chest is Walnut. The outside frame of the cabinet appears to be Chestnut. The sides ... moreare paneled Heart Pine. Now about the age, I'm guessing, and I know just enough to be totally wrong. The size makes me think it was made in the days when there were no closets. The heft makes me think of Empire or Gothic furniture, and the look and the knobs seem American to me. So my guess would be mid 1800s, maybe 1840-1870-but what do I know? You decide for yourself, and ignore my misleading guesses. All the drawer pulls match and there is a key for the biggest drawer. Condition: You will see normal wear and tear-light scratches and stains-and there is a small crack on the top. I see nothing major or unexpected for a piece this size and age. You'll love it! U p for auction is this magnificent Empire Style Solid Mahogany Man’s Chiffonier from around the 1830’s. The dresser was re-finished many years ago but the mirror was never re-finished. The drawers are dove-tailed and very thick. This does not have veneer. It is solid beautiful wood. It stands about 72’ tall and approx. 40” wide and is on the original castors. It has been finished with a lovely marble surface and a large mirror top. The mirror has a beautiful and ornate carved design. Three large drawers sit below the marble surface. The drawers have dovetailed construction. All of the drawers are 33" wide and 14" deep. The top drawers is 6 1/8" tall. The middle is 7" tall and the bottom is 8 1/2" tall. The entire set-up measures 86" in height. It is 41 3/4" at the widest point. And 17 3/4" deep. It weighs approximately 177 pounds. The exposed marble surface measures 40 7/8" by 13 3/4" This is in great. Antique condition overall with some general signs of age and use. There are no visible cracks or repairs. There are ... morea few chips along the dresser edge. It appears as though there was originally a crown as well as a pair of candle holder arms. These pieces are no longer included. The mirror may be a replacement, since it is not beveled, but it is still a lovely match. There is a slight separation in the joint at the top of the mirror arch. It features plenty of storage space within a compact design. Opened or closed. This secretary makes a statement in elegant simplicity. There is a slight crack in the wood at the bottom left of the door which is only on the outside. it does not go through. Nor does it affect the beauty or functionality of the piece.
