It has dainty brass handle hardware which I am not sure are original. The keyhole escutcheon are the big round medallions. The candle shelves have heavy incise carved burl front shelf supports, burl walnut trim going up the mirror and the big crest on top with a doorbell looking medallion on the top. The mirror is bevel glass, which is normally straight glass. The drawers are all hand cut dove tail. The overall size is 48 inches wide, 21 inches deep and 90 inches high overall.

A couple of coats of lacquer could be added to give it a more vibrant look if desired, but I personally like the mellow finish. The dresser has white and gray grained round corner marble top with the insert in the center, raised burl panels on the drawers, big circular buttons on the middle of the large drawers, Victorian tear drop pulls, candle shelves on the mirror, applied carvings, burl panels and a beautifully carved fancy crest. The front of the chest has beautiful incised carvings on the drawers and wood escutcheons. This chest is good quality, solid, sturdy and would make a great addition to any Victorian Decor. The Eastlake furniture style as envisioned by its namesake, Charles Lock Eastlake, came about in response to his dislike of the over-the-top Rococo and Renaissance Revival styles popular during the Victorian era. Drop center design. 3 marble tops(gray and white, beveled edge) Marble is in good shape, ever-so-slight stains. Has 4 smaller drawers at top, 2 large drawers at bottom, and a"secret" drawer at bottom base. Has Knapp joints on drawers(see close-up) Middle drawer sticks somewhat, but can probably be fixed. Exquisite wood carvings and raised burl walnut panels. Drawer pulls are wood carved leaf design. Candle shelves on each side of mirror. On casters. Solid and sturdy. Measures 86"H x 46-1/2"W x 19"D. Be sure to add me to your! This ANTIQUE LATE 1800's VICTORIAN DRESSSER is made from solid walnut and has been refinished. It has three large drawers with a fancy skirt around the bottom on four legs with rollers. Which roll very well. On top of this are two glove boxes on each side separated by white marble. The back holds the elegant curved and bevelled mirror housed in a walnut curved frame with applied wood decoration and a special decoration extending several inches above the top of the mirror frame. There are four original leaf carved handles which are not on the piece. The buyer would have the choice of putting on handles of his choice or matching the original handles with two more. As refinished this piece is in excellent condition except for the missing two original handles. The three drawers are 36 inches wide; it is 37 inches ... morefrom floor to marble. Spectacular"Highly Figured Sold Maple" Chest of Drawers Circa 1895 I fully restored this lovely piece.It features incredible"highly figured" solid maple with Birdseye maple veneers on the oxbow top drawer fronts.All of the brass hardware. Including the key hole covers are original.As you can see the hardware is the icing on this cake! The original drawer locks are all in place and in excellent working order using the beautiful key I had made.The top of the dresser has incredible patina and some of the finest grain figuring you will see.The top is first class all the way. All of the drawers were totally rebuilt and slide like silk. The drawers feature the sought after dovetail joinery. I restored the finish all by hand using a custom rich stain to achieve the highlighted rich burgundy followed by many. Many coats of hand ... morerubbed varnish.When you rub your hands over the finish you will feel the superb depth and notice the beauty of the amazing maple grains. This is a"bonnet top" dresser meaning the top two drawers protrude and overhand the lower level drawers. The sides have great architectural design with the paneled construction.Like any fine antique. This piece has minor imperfections and character marks in the wood. The posts which hold the drawer handle in place are brass plated steel, some of the plating has worn off after 135 plus years.The photos show casters in the legs, they will not be included.I find they tend to split the legs.There is a knot depression on the upper left side(see photo) I think it adds character and figuring just like the top of the dresser. This piece is solid. The drawers feature an incredible matched set of 6 original period pulls in the Anglo Japanese Geisha Pattern probably manufactured by Russell& Erwin. The front of thedresser has beautiful incised floral and foliage carvings on the drawers. This chest is good quality, solid, sturdy and would make a great addition to any Victorian Decor. This is a gorgeous solid black walnut with burl walnut applied trim Victorian age drop center dresser with a white and gray grain marble ... moretop that dates from the 1880s. It came in on a recent load. And was very clean. Someone probably refinished it a long time ago, and all we did was tighten it up, scuff it down and re-spray it to remove all the nicks and dings. It has a great look, a dark walnut stain finish, white and gray grain marble tops in really nice condition with minor stains and no cracks. It also has hand-cut dovetail drawers, big burl walnut panels on the front, and carved medallions in the center. It also has the old teardrop dresser knobs of ebony. The top of the dresser has what looks like the original mirror, along with the original candle shelves that was used to hold the oil lamps while gazing at your reflection. It also has all original carving and decoration on the back, and the top of the carved crest, the applied cutout carved trim, button medallions, applied burl panels and clamshell carved crest on top, all intact. It’s all ready to go in your home. It measures 44 inches wide, 17 inches deep, cabinet base is 32 inches up to the marble, 79 inches to the top of the mirror crest. for sale a wonderful pierced carved victorian rococo walnut dresser vanity or possibly a shaving stand. depends on what you want as to what you call it. it is a great piece presented in original finish with wonderful patina. it is in near mint condition with the exception of a small repair. Looks as if screws have been replaced on one of the back swivel mount pieces. there are no weakness or problem and the function is perfect, but it has been tweaked a bit. it is 30 inches wide and sits on great carved rococo feet. the base has three hinged caskets for whatever you want to put in them. it is 12 inches deep, extending one inch behind the mirror base. the mirror base and harp are of wonderful form and design. the base and harp are pierced carved in the finest fashion. it is 33 inches in overall height. the harp houses an oval frame which contains ... morethe original mirror that is nearly perfect. there is the minutest amount of sliver loss. these are hard to find especially in the shape this one is in. the three caskets are a 9.5 inch oval in the center and two 6.5 inch round ones on either side of the central oval one. someone will be proud to own this great piece. it may be picked up at my home and shipped at buyer's expense. i have owned about 4 of these in 40 years, none any nicer than this one, but all sold for a lot more than i am starting this one at. i had one that i had a little dresser base for it to sit on. it sold for about 3000 a few years back. anyway, if you are on your toes you can get a bargain here. a rare and fair find and wonderful in every way.

Antique Big Victorian Bedroom Decor Furniture Dresser 1850 Mirror Brush Set
Hello- This is a very special True Victorian Hairbrush Mirror from at the LATEST 1850! The Amber-Yellow glass indicates this. And is never reproduced. When looking into the Etched Amber Glass, Your face is surrounded by the flowers just like my camera is if you can imagine, and your face has an amber glow. I placed it on the 50's mirror so that you can see the difference in the glass's. The big round mirror is part of the set. The Victorian Curling is genuine, I'm not positive of it's age, But these were used even into the 1920's. The brush measures approx. 10" long x 3 1/3" at the widest. And has a wooden brush area to hold the bristles. The metal is a bit tarnished from age, a magnet does not stick to it and I don't know what kind of metal it is. There is some loss to the etching of the flowers, but not ... moretoo much and is still in wonderful condition. The curling iron is approx. 10" long. Antique Victorian Walnut Drop Well Dresser w/ Marble Tops Ornate Hand Carving
We are pleased to offer to the market this beautiful antique drop well dresser. Constructed from walnut. This piece is ornately carved. The piece stands 91.5" high at the center of the mirror. The base is 44.5" wide at the bottom and 44" wide at the top of the drawers. It has an overall depth of 18 1/8" and the height of the center well is 16 5/8" The hardware on this has been replaced but still matches quite well. The pulls all have lion faces on them. The marble slabs that sit on the top of the drawers have a space that is approximately 1/2 an inch on each side where the wood shows. I am unsure as to whether these pieces were replaced or not. The slab of marble that sits on top of the well fits snugly and appears to be original to the piece. There are"wings" that attach on each side of the mirror that ... morehave attached candle stands on the front. These also have ornate carving on them. The mirror has beveled glass and is in good condition. There are some age separation cracks on the side panels and there is also a crack on the inside panel on the left side. Antique Victorian Dresser/Vanity/Toothbrush Box Rose Finial
Up for auction is this stunning antique wash stand vanity set box for a toothbrush. This is heavy china unglazed on the bottom. Lid rim and bass top. The decoration is a beautiful robin’s egg blue. Then garlands of flowers around the lid and base bowl. The only mark on the piece is the embossed number“119” The lid is pierced and has a gilded rose finial. The inside of the bowl has brackets to hold the brush and allow drying. The box is 8 3/8” long. 3 ¾” wide, and 3 ¾” tall to the top of the lid finial. There is a small gap in the unglazed rim on the underside(this is not a crack. Does not go through, but is shrinkage from when this was made common in iron stone) The piece is in excellent vintage condition with no nicks. Chips or cracks. ebay allows 12 pictures. for this piece that is not nearly enough to do a decent job in describing and showing it. at any rate. Here is a wonderful antique serpentine front dresser most likely by mitchell and rammelsburg. if not by them, someone equally as gifted in furniture making. the dresser is mahogany and stands 94.5 inches tall on its original porcelain casters. it is 49 inches wide and 24 inches deep. it has 4 drawers. the one at the bottom does not appear to be a drawer. it was crafted to be a hidden drawer. there are no pulls on it and it is carved differently to appear as the bottom splash board of the dresser. the dresser is quite heavy, the drawers are well made with the front serpentine boards being about 1.25 inches thick. notice the joints of the drawers, all hand cut dovetails which date the piece to circa 1870-1880. it has ... morea large mirror harp as you can see that is pierced carved and has candle stands, finials, crests, and other nice details that make this a very desirable dresser. the mirror is arch shaped and shows some smokiness and a little silver loss. the mirror is actually in better condition than most. i do not know if the mirror is original but the backing appears to be. at the base of the mirror harp on each side is a nice glove box with a drawer that is hand carved dovetails. i forgot to get pictures of these with the drawers open, nor did i show the four drawers of the dresser open as i ran out of picture spaces allowed by ebay. the drawers all open with ease and each drawer is designed for its specific space. i have a book that is dated 1991 that lists a dresser like this but not as nice for 2250.00. it has great form and beauty, the front of the dresser corners are especially nice. the marble is original and is in great condition for its age. any questions please ask and if you want more pictures i have several and would be glad to supply them, again just ask for what you want. the dresser may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyer's expense. i know the pictures are bad, i

Antique Tilting Dresser SHAVING Mirror TIGER OAK Wood VICTORIAN 1880 Round Frame
Antique Tiger Oak Victorian Era c.1880 Round Shaving Mirror- On Tilting Frame- DESCRIPTION A handsome antique shaving mirror on tilting stand. Made entirely of solid tiger oak grained wood. The mirror frame, tilting arms, base and round ball feet all with beautiful graining visable. This one is from the late Victorian era circa 1880's. It's in original untouched condition, not refinished. It also retains the original mirror glass and backing for the round mirror. The round mirror frame is 1" wide and has a deep beveled edge. The two arms have knobs at the sides that can be loosened allowing you to tilt the framed mirror portion. Tightening the knob will then hold it in that fixed position. The arms have lovely turnings and are mortised through the wide shaped chamferred edge base. The base has four round ball feet. We've ... moreleft this as found. We have not polished or refinished the wood it is completly original. Shows good wear, but no splits or cracks or breaks in the wood. And we have not removed the original mirror glass from the frame. As expected with mirror glass of this age, it does show wear to the silvering. Of course, if you like, you could replace the mirror with contemporary mirror glass. We like it just the way it is. Showing it's good age. Size: 12-1/4" high overall- 15-3/4" long and 5-1/2" wide at the base- mirror frame measures 9-3/4" across CONDITION Very Good. The wood has not been refinished. Original hardware. Including real wooden double( castors.have never seen those before. Deep drawers on the bottom and 2 small shallow drawers on the top. Condition is sturdy and good for its age(ca. late 1800's) But there are a few chips missing- see pictures. Also. I believe the mirror used to be attached to the top/back of the dresser but I guess over time. The frame got damaged/lost. The scalloped mirror is in good condition and has hanging hardware. The knobs ... moreon the side are where it used to swivel on. Listing is bot both the dresser and the mirror. Dimensions are: 40" wide by 19 3/4" deep. IF YOU LOVE FINE ANTIQUE FURNITURE YOU WILL WANT TO PAUSE AND LOOK CAREFULLY AT THIS RARE 1800'S VINTAGE VICTORIAN DRESSER WITH SWIVEL MIRROR AND GLOVE BOXES. ALTHOUGH NOT PERFECT. IT IS OF A QUALITY ONE RARELY ENCOUNTERS. IT IS ALL ORIGINAL AND THE RICH WALNUT WOOD IS EXQUISITELY BEAUTIFUL. THE DRAWERS FEATURE DOVE-TAIL JOINTS, FIT WELL, SLIDE SMOOTHLY AND THE PIECE IS QUITE SOLID. IT STANDS 79 INCHES TALL TO THE TOP OF THE MIRROR FINIAL AND IS 41 INCHES WIDE BY 18.5 INCHES DEEP. FROM THE FLOOR TO THE TOP OF THE DRESSER SURFACE IS 32.5 INCHES. THE GLOVE BOXES ARE 11 X 7 X 2 INCHES AND THE TOP DRAWER IS 33 X 14.25 X 6 INCHES. THE OTHER TWO DRAWERS ARE 33 X 14 X 7 INCHES. THE SURFACE OF THE MIRROR IS 14.25 X 25.5 INCHES. THE DRAWER PULLS ARE VERY ORNATE AND QUITE UNUSUAL. THE ONE ON THE LOWER LEFT IS DAMAGED ALTHOUGH ONE CANNOT SEE IT. ... moreTHE WOOD ATTACH POINT INSIDE THE BRASS FITTING IS DAMAGED. ALLOWING THE WOODEN KNOB TO SEPARATE FROM THE BRASS FIXTURE WHEN THE DRAWER IS OPENED. IT SHOULD BE AN EASY FIX THOUGH. AND OF COURSE. THE KEYS ARE MISSING FROM THE PIECE SO IF LOCKING IS IMPORTANT I SUGGEST YOU SURF ON OVER TO RESTORATION HARDWARE. COM WHERE REPLACEMENT LOCKS CAN BE HAD AT REASONABLE PRICES. THE ONLY OTHER FLAWS ARE REPRESENTED BY THE LAST TWO PHOTOS. THERE IS A SMALL WHITE SPECK(PROBABLY PAINT) ON THE DRESSER SURFACE ALTHOUGH IT DOES NOT SHOW UP WELL IN THE PICTURE AND THERE IS A SMALL PORTION OF THE MIRROR WHERE THE REFLECTION IS NOT PERFECT. IT SEEMS POSSIBLE THAT THE SILVER MAY HAVE PEELED AWAY FROM THE INSIDE SURFACE OF THE MIRROR. AGAIN. SHOULD BE A FAIRLY EASY FIX. BEST OF ALL. THIS RARE PIECE OF FURNITURE IS AVAILABLE FOR THE BARGAIN PRICE OF ONLY $795 AND I MIGHT CONSIDER A REASONABLE OFFER.
