Condition: Unspecified Location: Glen Mills, United States This is an English. Circa 1820, six drawer chest or dresser. It is made with thick, bookmatched mahogany veneer over pine, double raised panel sides, ... moreand fluted columns resting on strong spade feet. The original Egyptian Revival gilt brasses celebrated Britain's 1798 defeat of Napoleon in The Battle of the Nile, and the subsequent discoveries of Egyptian art and culture. The chest is 50" high, 40 3/8" wide, and 23 1/8" deep. Five drawers are approximately 6 3/4" high, and the bottom drawer is 8 1/2" high. I cannot find a maker's identification, but the frame and drawers are hand numbered in pencil. This chest was professionally refinished approximately 30 years ago, and it has been used irregularly since that time. Small areas in the secondary wood of the drawers were filled at the time of refinishing, but this appears to have been done for cosmetic purposes only. There is no movement in any of the joinery including the legs, and the drawers work very well for a chest of this age. As is appropriate, I suspect the chest with drawers weighs 250 lbs. There are age appropriate scratches and bumps here and there, and particularly on the top and top drawer face. Also, there is long-term wear to the veneer at the location of the ring pulls. Many of the hardware posts(which hold the ring pulls) have been replaced, and the two original posts on the bottom drawer are a bit loose. Further, some of the nuts that fasten the pulls to the drawers have been replaced. Lastly, one of the drawer locks is missing, as is the key. I would recommend Ball and Ball, Exton for the repair, replacement and or keying of the locks. I believe the clean lines and strong profiles of this chest exemplify good Regency furniture. They all have batwing style(Georgian) handles and lo ck surrounds. The upper section is carved and shaped. It has an unusual rail presumably for tea-towels or cloths. There are some very old cup hooks screwed into the front edge, these are of varying designs, they're all very old and again add to the feel. T h e whole piece feels provincially made. I bought this piece over 30 years ago from an antique dealer who dated it from the late 1800’s. Dresser is in good condition with desirable weathering. With knotty pine. It measures approx. 32 ½"h x 33”w x 16"deep and stands nicely on bun feet. It does have some staining on the top There are brass lock and keyholes on all the drawers. One drawer is missing the brass lock and one drawer is missing brass keyhole. Please see photos) The key is not included but all of the drawers are currently unlocked and slide smoothly. I have for sale an antique chest of drawers/ dresser. Made of pine. It is built in the French provincial/ Swedish country style. It has five drawers. It is missing one knob. The knobs are not original. They were purchased at Anthropologie store. The chest is 50" tall. 34" wide, and 18" deep. Each drawer has inner dimension of: 27" wide. 14" deep and 7" tall. Antique pine dresser from Maine. I was told its from the 1800s. Bought at auction in the early 90s. In great shape. There is a little bit of water marking on the bottom of one of the sides but barely noticeable and easily fixed. Mirror is newer and in good shape but could be secure in place more as it rattles in place a bit with strong movement. I put a small piece of cardboard behind original wood strap and thats easily stopped it. I think it was refinished long ago and is a nice looking piece. Must pick up(94525) Will not ship. Cottage Pine Dresser ca. 1890`s Completely Restored
Cottage pine dresser circa 1890`s completely restored to address any age or wear issues. Four drawer dresser has pin dovetailed drawers. Square cut nails in original construction. Finish, on all exterior surfaces, consists of natural colored stain, shellac sealer, two coats of satin finish varnish and two coats of paste wax. Color is natural aged Eastern white pine and the surface feels like butter to the hand. Dimensions: 38 1/2" wide X 16 3/4" deep X 35 1/4" high. Ready for instant use in the home in a variety rooms for storage and, of course, in the bedroom.

Craftsman Dresser with Mirror / 1900's / looks to be Mahogany / w/pine
This is a wonderful piece. it is solid on the outside. Mirror is beveled, and there is no major damage. indide my gran-da put L brackets in it that i would remove. thats easy. no key to the door locks. two largerr drawers on bottom, two samller on top, and two in the credenza. it has standings on the uprights holding the mirror. It is just as beautiful piece, but i cannot honestly say it has never been redone cause i dont know. my grand-da was a fixer. This was my moms pride except for her hope chect. If it does not sell, i will give it to my sisters to fight over. but, in the shipping. it weights probable 90 lbs. and packing it is not my speciality. I will do it, but for $200.00. I would be better for a local to buy, or i can deliver to any shipping company the buyer desires as long as it is in the hungtingtonbeach- westminster areas. easy ... moreto find. Beautiful antique pine three-drawer chest with original hardware and in perfect working condition(recently waxed and cleaned) This piece has a"female" match in one of my other listings. Circa 1860-1870 this piece was acquired from a design client who has held them in her family for generations. She used them in a guest bedroom so they are barely used and in great condition. Dresser measures approximately 40"W x 19D x 30H(great for bathroom vanity conversion! Beautiful 19th century Georgian/ Victorian Pine dresser base An outstanding and characterful mid 19th century pine dresser base/ sideboard with a bank of three drawers either side of a smaller central paneled door which has a small drawer above it. All doors and the drawers have matching period cast iron handles. Has a well aged plank top with a galleried back and stands on a plain molding base and bun feet. In good strong condition. Does have various marks and imperfections commensurate with age but these only add to its tremendous character. Just been hand prepared ... moreand waxed to a beautiful colour and finish.
