It has 2 rolled drawers and a large original mirror. It may be a Southern piece. It is a fresh local estate purchase from a Ga Octogenarian's home. This piece is in very nice condition. There are a few small repairs and a couple of areas that are missing veneer/ have damage. There is one small piece of molding that is missing between the drawers. The crotch mahogany is beautiful in its detail and color. The mirror is in very nice condition with a couple of small areas where it has a little silvering loss or ghosting. This has nice handmade dovetailing on the drawers and highly carved and scrolled mirror arms and legs. The hardware ... morethat holds the mirror is original and in great condition. The wood case on this one is amazing. Still has what appears to be the original end nuts on the brackets that hold the mirror to the base. And check out the carved leaf details that are at the four corners of the mirror frame. The wood on the whole piece is immaculate. No chips cracks or splits on what shows on the outside. The bottom of the drawer is not split. Check out the bizarre doweling at the bottom and the dovetail only goes into the one side not the other. I found that to be very unique. I see no maker marking on this piece. The felt on the inside of the drawer was done more recently. for sale a wonderful pierced carved victorian rococo walnut dresser vanity or possibly a shaving stand. depends on what you want as to what you call it. it is a great piece presented in original finish with wonderful patina. it is in near mint condition with the exception of a small repair. Looks as if screws have been replaced on one of the back swivel mount pieces. there are no weakness or problem and the function is perfect, but it has been tweaked a bit. it is 30 inches wide and sits on great carved rococo feet. the base has three hinged caskets for whatever you want to put in them. it is 12 inches deep, extending one inch behind the mirror base. the mirror base and harp are of wonderful form and design. the base and harp are pierced carved in the finest fashion. it is 33 inches in overall height. the harp houses an oval frame which contains ... morethe original mirror that is nearly perfect. there is the minutest amount of sliver loss. these are hard to find especially in the shape this one is in. the three caskets are a 9.5 inch oval in the center and two 6.5 inch round ones on either side of the central oval one. someone will be proud to own this great piece. it may be picked up at my home and shipped at buyer's expense. i have owned about 4 of these in 40 years, none any nicer than this one, but all sold for a lot more than i am starting this one at. i had one that i had a little dresser base for it to sit on. it sold for about 3000 a few years back. anyway, if you are on your toes you can get a bargain here. a rare and fair find and wonderful in every way.

Antique Federal Inlaid Dressing/Shaving Stand With Mirror & Three Drawers
Antique Federal dressing/shaving mirror. It stands 30" tall. 22" across, and 10" wide. The shield shaped mirror alone is 23" x 14 1/2" It has line inlay, three feathers on each corner, and a conch shell in the center. There are three drawers. Two faux ivory discs, one on each side of the mirror. There is an old repair to a piece of inlay by the keyhole. The left side with the three feathers inlay has some damage. See pictures. Antique Renaissance 1870's Victorian Shaving Dressing Stand This estate item is ready to display in your Victorian home or spruce up to your liking! It is carved Walnut that has eboni zed highlights. Marble is the red with white striations.not sure if it is original as the corners are not the tightest cut. The column support is decorated with the Renaissance style medallions all around finished with small round finials. There are three of these little finials missing. This piece seems quite sound but I do see some space between one of the legs and the post.you may want to tighten or leave it. Overall this piece is strong and ready to use as is. It has original key for drawer which is hand dove tail construction back and front corners. Original rough planed drawer bottom has beautiful patina with beveled construction. This fine 19th century shaving/dressing stand appears to have its original finish and hardware and features beautiful detailed geometric pierced carvings. The mirror also appears original with only some very slight blemishes and the beveled edge marble top also original is in wonderful antique condition. The drawer has divided compartments and the tasseled key works the lock. Below the drawer is a ring turned towel bar and lower down is a small storage shelf. very fine antique hanging quartersawn oak shaving stand or wall mount
for auction is a very nice hanging shaving stand. it is a wall mount model which are fairly hard to come by. this piece is of quartersawn oak and has nice carving on the bottom splash under the serpentine drawer. Which is an unusual feature. it was painted and had to be stripped and refinished, which i did a long time ago. i have no place for it anymore. i hung it on a nail i had a limoges charger on just to get some pictures. it of course was hung way too high for practical purposes, if you were 8 feet tall it might have been at the perfect height. it is in mint condition as far as structure and function and is all original. it is about 29 inches long, 13.5 inches wide, and 7,5 inches deep at the most curved part of the serpentine drawer. it is a wonderful and i would say a rare model in great condition. it may be picked up at my home of ... moreshipped at buyer's expense. i would say it can go usps for about 50.00. thanks for looking and good luck. i am starting it for less than i paid years ago. ps. by the way i note the pictures are much darker than the piece actually is. the fourth and the last pictures are a more true representation of it's color.

1800's Wood Framed Shaving / Vanity Mirror with Black Metal Stand
Offered is an 1800's Oak Framed Shaving Mirror with a Metal Black Stand. The mirror is crackled. But still offers a decent reflection. Patina is consistent with age. Good over-all condition otherwise. Measures 7 3/4" in height x 6" in width. The mirror& frame are original, I am not sure on the stand, but it strikes me as updated(the rivets on the joints of the stand look of modern times?
