The frame(2” thick) is painted on both sides and is sturdy with no rotting or other condition issues. In the frame. It measures 65”w x 16”h and the measurement for the glass only is 60”w x 11 1/2”h. The border of the window is textured glass and the foliate pattern is done in a mix of textured and glue chip glass which is a technique where they sand blast the glass first. Then“paint” it with glue, then put it into a low fired kiln so when it’s fired, it actually“rips” the glass and creates the pattern. The lead veins are strong with no breakage or bowing. Beautiful Victorian era stained glass window. Original frame. Meaures 44" wide by 24 3/8" tall. Tan side is the outside. Very small cracks in two areas. Frame naturally shows some wear since it was an exterior window. Lead came in excellent condition. We have personally owned this window for over twenty years. We remodeled the kitchen and didn't have an area for it afterwards. It was not exposed to the elements while we owned it. It was framed inside the home. Description This is a nice piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It is mostly clear distorted glass with some pale green. There are 12 facet cut jewels. I see no cracks or breaks. The frame is a little rough but braces have been added to stabilize it. The frame is square. The glass is arched. It measures 28.5 inches by 27 inches and is 1.5 inches thick. The glass only is 24 by 21.5 inches. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. Antique French windows salvaged from a former cream production plant(see last photo) in Southeastern Pennsylvania. The plant was built during the 1890's and many of the windows were original to the plant's construction. Although a few windows may have been made after that period; all are solid wood. Each window is made of solid pine and has 9 glass lites. No hardware included. These windows were originally installed as double-hung pairs. However, if a lite were to break once you install the windows; you would need to completely scrape off the old putty, which could be as hard as cement, remove the glazing points, put in the replacement lite, reinsert the points, add new putty, and allow to dry. They are mounted in wooden window frames. One measures 30 1/4" long by 21 1/4" wide the glass panel measures 28" long by 18" wide. The glaze is no intact on the back of the window but there are copper nails that hold the item in place. Window# 2. Antique/Vintage Architectural Window Sash From 1800's Farmhouse.Some Wavy Glass
This is a really neat 4 pane window from an old farmhouse that was built in the early 1800's. I was there when it was torn down and the main part of the house was a log cabin that they had put hand planed poplar siding over. I'm guessing from talking with the owner of the old house that the windows were put in in the late 1800's around 1870 or 1880. I have 7 of them. All very similar in appearance and condition. The glass has wavy spots that are really interesting. The wood frame is very solid. The window could actually be cleaned up and reused! No rot or insect damage. The window frame is 28" X 28 3/4" X 1-3/8" The actual windows are 25-5/8" X 5-1/2" The nine pics shown are all of the same window.

1 Antique Hanging Window This antique window dates from around the late 1800's to early 1900's. The wood frame is appears to be cypress. The antique beveled glass is leaded which casts rainbow colors. The metal channel holding the glass in place is a type of zinc. This was a more expensive process than lead. The window measures 18 3/8" X 14 1/4" The window is 19 1/4" high with the eye hooks. The window has been stripped of a heavy coat of paint. It was then cleaned and finished with beeswax to keep the patina. This window is in very good to excellent condition for its age. This listing is for ONE WINDOW. The frontal section of the glass is all flat glass, the back section of the glass is carved/engraved as shown on photos. Welcome! You are bidding on an old Late 1800s Antique 8-Pane Basement Window with five panes of bumpy'crinkle' original glass. And one old pane of bumpy glass that looks like fossils. One pane has been replaced with modern transparent glass and one has been removed for a dryer vent, so there are 6 panes of very old glass still in this window and uncracked. Window was removed from an old home in a better section of University City, Missouri(a suburb of St. Louis, Mo) There is a piece of old Masonite that the dryer vent went through. Wood and paint are old and appropriately worn/aged for their age-fantastic patina! Images show damage where a lock was attached and holes where the hinges were attached(hinges and screws included with window-I do not know if the hinges are original to this old window or not. Up for auction is a very old 12 pane window from a 1700's New England cape. One side is a 1940's hospital green. The other a barn red. There is some cracking and chipping of paint. The wood is strong without rot and has dove-tailed joints. The glass appears to be all original. Some of the grout is crumbling but would not be a detriment if just used for display or hanging. It measures 42" x 25" and each pane measures 6 3/4' x 8 3/4" Shipping and packaging is difficult with windows but I am a'over' packer so barring a shipping issue it should arrive safe and sound. THIS IS SUCH AN INCREDIBLE FIND AND IS AN OLD SALVAGED CHURCH STAINED GLASS WINDOW WITH AN ARCHED SHAPE THAT IS ABOUT 3 1/2 FEET TALL I love the old windows. Especially the ones that come out of the old Churches, like this one. This is just incredible. It is an older window that is about 43" tall. It has a wood frame with the old white paint on the front and brown on the back. The paint is now chippy and peely for a perfect patina. It has the amazing arched window at the center with twelve colored glass panes all around it. The center has an awesome pattern that I believe like the old stencil in white. Not sure if this is considered stencil. The colored glass all around is gorgeous in different colors. Vintage 1920's 3 Pane Cyress Window with glass from old home in New Orleans
This auction is for 1 Vintage 3 pane Cypress window with glass from 1920's This window was removed from my home dated built in 1927. All the millwork. Siding, and doors are cypress, so the windows are cypress also. The windows are weathered from sitting and from being on the house in need of some painting. Most of the putty was cracked and falling out of this window so I removed the remaining putty to have access to the glass panes.The 2 end panes still have a few of the metal wedges that held the glass in the frame in them. If you purchase this frame. When you unpack it and remove the shrink wrap to get to the foam board make sure the window is lying flat because the center pane may fall out. It has no putty holding it and I am guessing that the panes were hand cut and not quite tight in the frame. The panes DO fit right but not tightly. ... moreI had planned to make a message center with this frame putting magnetic chalkboard in one part. Cork bulletin in the center and white board on the last pane. I went with another frame for this idea. The frame can be hung horizontally or vertically. One side is mostly stripped of paint. This is a frame where very little work would be needed to complete a project. The glass panes measure 8 1/2"x 18" and the total frame measurement is 21 3/4" by almost 30" This frame is already packaged for shipping in a double lined styrofoam box and the shipping weight is about 13 pounds. this window appears to be old wavy glass. Backed by multi-colored sheet material like thin plexi or similar,held around the edges bya bead of black silicone on the black colored side of the window. theres two 1" corner cracks in center, shown in pics. it measures about 22 3/4" square, and its freekin awesome. I got this window. And a couple boxes of misc antiques- in part payment on some parts and welding I did on an old truck. it came from a storage auction in Ma. that was attended by the son of the guy I did the work for. it was already like this at that time. You're considering one excellent piece of Antique Etched Glass with an intricate floral adornment to a center frame Western Cattle Agriculture Farm scene. This particular window came from the stately homestead to a once large and predominant Cattle Ranch outside of St. Joseph Missouri. It was originally on a parlor door which I got for use in another project I since used another piece for and now I'm moving soon and would rather not risk its transport. So it needs a great new home! Dating back approximately to the turn of the century(late 1800s-very early 1900s) this piece is easily identified in rare form. You will find these old etched glass pieces usually ... morewith Deer/Elk/Floral scene. But almost NEVER with such a unique Cattle scene. Especially in such fine detail. From what I was told it was special commission for the Ranch and one of a kind. Would easily stand out in any project like a Window. Cabinet face, or like I was going to use it for a shadow box. Up to your imagination. It would benefit from some further prepping/cleaning before use but no significant damage found. No cracks. No scratches on the main glass, there is some visible chipping in places around the edges. However that's normally expected in 100+ year old architectural salvage.
