Vintage Spaniel Dog Figurine Original Japan Tag & Chain

This Northern European white porcelain bisque figure of a woman is probably German and has a distinct mark on its bottom that we are unable to identify. Dimensions: The figure stands approximately 6& 1/4" tall. 2& 1/2" deep and 3& 1/2" across Condition: some of the petals on the flowers in the basket and at the feet of the lady have been chipped but such losses are not easy to see unless examined closely.

Antique Dresden Porcelain One Horse Sleigh Ride Carriage Sled Winter Scene
This auction is for a truly beautiful Dresden porcelain winter scene. A dappled horse pulls a sleigh with a lady nestled in the seat while a gentleman holds the reigns above her head and rides behind. The stamp on the base is clearly an old Dresden bodenmarke but I have otherwise been unable to date the piece or even to find another like it. It measures 13" long from the tips of the horse's ears to the driver's coattails and 6.5" tall from the base to the driver's hat. The base is 12" long and 4" wide. The original reins were likely leather or a thin chain and have been replaced by a silver cord. There is some discoloration on the bottom of the base but there are no visible defects- no chips. Cracks, repairs or discoloration- on the sculpture.

She is also holding a lovely bouquet of roses. Her lace dress is in mint condition I can find no damage but her veil has some chipping to the back. There are almost identical except that one figurine is very slightly taller than the other. One stands approximately 5 1/2" and the other 5 5/8" They have red collars gold. Padlocks and gold chains. Thery appear to be all in great shape but do have"age" crazing under the glaze. I m absolutely no authority and all I can say for certain is that they did come from an old estate. Antique Bisque Porcelain Little Girl w/ Butt Out & Hound Dog Figurine
Here we have an adorable antique bisque porcelain figurine which is on the smaller side. Measuring 4 1/2" tall and 4" wide. It features a little girl whose butt is sticking out the back of her dress while she gets a kiss from her dog. I just love her face. It has so much character! The figurine is all bisque with the exception of the gold areas along the front. They are shiny gloss. If you look at the bottom of the log back behind her butt, the tip of the green leaf is missing. The flowers were applied to the figurine separately I believe.they are odd shapes so I don't know if they have fleabites or if that is just how they were made. Regardless, nothing stands out. French Bisque Singing Goddess With Lyre C. 1830 A Beautiful Antique French Museum Piece. Of the Highest Quality Workmanship. Her gilded lyre has metal strings; she glances heavenward as she sings. There is an amphora at her feet. Surpassingly lovely. This is the first time I've seen teeth. Top and bottom, painted on a bisque piece- beautifully done The gorgeous gilding and enamel beading is in excellent condition. One of the really wonderful things about this piece is the expertly constructed lyre with its metal strings; they actually pass through the porcelain neck of the lyre and are then secured with metal beads which are meant to simulate the tuning pins. In the year 1761 Johann Wolfgang Hamann from the city of Katzhütte applied for a porcelain production license in Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt but only three days earlier an exclusive license had been issued for Heinrich Macheleid from Sitzendorf and so the application by Hamann was turned down. Through experimentation a year later he was able to produce his own formula hard paste porcelain at his home in Katzhütte. After initial inquiries to the duke of Sachsen-Coburg they bought the'Freiherr von Hohenthal' manor including the surrounding woods on November 30th 1763. The license was granted and personally signed by duke Franz Josias of Sachsen-Coburg on March 30th 1764. From 1772 onwards the factory was run only by the Hamann family which then added small numbers of porcelain figures to the product range before Johann Wolfgang ... moreHamann retired in 1776 and his son Ferdinand Friedrich Hamann took over. Ferdinand Friedrich Hamann died in 1786 and the business was run by his wife Anna Margaretha Hamann. First, and then later by their son. At some time before his death Ferdinand’ son had leased the factory to Friedrich Christian Hutschenreuther and his partner Hermann Kieser in the year 1829. When Hamann died in 1833. Kieser left the company and the remaining Hamann family members decided to sell the factory. Hutschenreuther had already found two other business partners that wanted to join him and so together with Friedrich Kämpfe and Gabriel Heubach he founded a new company that took over the factory. In 188 7 Friedrich Christian Hutschenreuther retired and Kämpfe and Heubach were joined by a new partner: Sontag. Only 10 years later. Sontag left in 1897 and Kämpfe and Heubach again focused on producing figurines growing the workforce to around 150 people in 1913. The piece features great attention to details. Her face is beautiful! The colors are so soft and pretty. We have carefully checked it out and cannot find any chips, cracks or repairs. Fingers and roses are all intact. She is vintage and is marked on the bottom with the crown logo KPM and still has part of the Made in Japan label. (2) Early Royal Dux Porcelain sculpture figurines as lamps, signed f Otto AS IS
This auction is for two vintage lamps by Royal Dux. Each signed by modeler F Otto(see pictures) It is written moulds were created from original sculptures done by the modelers, so it is very exciting to find pieces signed. I am not a collector of Royal Dux, but research has confirmed F Otto was a known sculptor for Royal Dux, also known as Czech Bohemia. Research also indicates there are other identifying characteristics to identify Royal Dux and narrow down the time frame of the particular sculptures. I am referring to the black ink stamp or triangles with the letter E or D, and different factory stamps used by Royal Dux, etc. which normally can be found under the base of their sculptures. It appears the figural sculptures were made into lamps by the factory, each figure is securely mounted onto a two layer base. I will refer to the construction ... moreas a three layer cake. The bottom is about a 1" piece of hardwood that the lamp support is secured to, see pictures where I removed the felt from the girl(sold without felt) The second layer is about 2" tall and the top layer is the sculpture. The layer connecting the sculpture looks to be attached with a thin layer of clay, like you would frost two layers of cake. The thin clay has separated almost all of the way around on the girl, and only a few areas on the boy. If you are going for perfection, it would take a lamp restorer to resolve that issue, by looking at the structure process it also appears a restorer could separate the sculpture from the lamp bases if you just wanted to display them as sculptures. The lamp stands are very hearty and solid, except for the stress fractures in the clay as mentioned. These are a mystery in that I cannot get to the base of the sculpture itself to see any factory marks for dating reference. I do wonder what treasures might be concealed! The other unusual thing you need to be aware of is I see and feel a difference between the two lamps. Comparing the two, the male seems more vibrant in color than the girl. He seems mostly

The figurine is made of a thick rich porcelain and is notably heavy with the piece weighing 740 grams. The figure stands approximately 4 1/2 inches in height and 6 1/8 inches in length. I'm selling this vintage large Capodimonte figurine for a local estate. It was made in Italy. It looks like the cobbler is trying to tell the girl that her shoe cannot be repaired. The detail in this piece is amazing. The nails. Hammer, faces, etc. The piece is marked on the bottom with a crown over an N. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, breaks or repairs.

Lovely pair of European Victorian Bisque Figures is offered. Both have similar markings on their bases except one has stamped in a diamond shaped box an"E" and the other"R" They both have an incised"749" over"12" and"74" done with a brush. They stand a little over 13 inches. There is a line across the male figure's arms. See photo 3. It is not a crack, perhaps an aging mold mark? Just sweet and in very fine condition.
