Rare HUGE Antique Sevres Vion Baury French Paris Porcelain Man Figurine Figure
This is a beautiful rare large hand painted porcelain figure created in France circa 1870-90. He is very heavy weighted and a large size at 19 1/4 inches high by 7 inches wide. And weighs a whopping 11.12 lbs. The green anchor mark of the Vion& Baury factory has worn away, but is partially found on his lady mate listed in my separate listing. His face is very finely handpainted and he is walking in the meadow holding a baby goat as the momma goat looks up lovingly. This figure displays very well however the momma goat has one broken ear and the bottom of his scruff and the baby goat has one broken ear. There is a shallow chip on the back bottom base and the pink flowers are chipped on top. There is a tight hairline on the back of the figure near the bottom and also under the base. It is very tight and the figure feels very solid. Superb ... morefigure for the collector! He is a superb example for the collector and has a lady mate in the last picture that will be offered in a separate listing. If interested please take a look. RARE Antique Sevres Signed Figurine * Multiple Characters * Highly Detailed
This beautiful old figurine is very old and features very fine workmanship. It is signed with the Sevre mark on the base and some other writing which I cannot decipher. The base looks bisque. The figurine features several story lines and characters. There is the gentleman on his knees kissing the hand of the somewhat disinterested lady, who is seated beneath her big puffy-of-the-times dress with a pug like dog on her lap and a cup of tea in her hand. Her chair is high and quite noble, so perhaps she is the queen or a princess or a baroness of some sort. The black servant in the background holds a detailed plate of something yummy as she or he waits their turn in the line. The base has floral raised decoration all around and the fine detail in the floral dress.everything from the sword at the man's side to the very detailed dog. Just a ... morewonderful figure. There are two or three minor condition issues. The gentleman has a chip in his hair, which is tied like the hair you see during the American Revolutionary War. Also, one or two of the flowers has a small chip on the BACK of the figure. Even the man's damaged hair is facing back and cannot be seen much when viewed from the front. For such an old and rare piece.quite good shape with no reglued areas or pieces that I can find. It measures 5.5" long by 4" high and is just a special piece. This is a beautiful antique porcelain figure of three children surrounded by an ormolu cage. I think it was at one time on a lamp. The figure appears German made. Possibly by the A.E. Muller factory and the cage looks to be French. Measures 9 1/2 inches high by 8 inches wide and is in overall excellent condition. Ormolu has some patina wear throughout the years, porcelain figure excellent besides the top of the boy's instrument and his one thumb. Very minor on display. Antique Sevres Soldier Bisque Victorian Tobacco Box Humidor Figurine Dresden
This is a fabulous and rare fine hand painted figural tobacco jar of a French soldier. I believe he is a Bohemian made piece. The quality is very fine and the colors are exceptional. He displays wonderfully however has some chips. There are three chips to the back of his arm on his blue jacket, very shallow, and one of end of pony tail, end of collar corner, a few to back of arm on that sleeve and one on the rim under the lid. Even though there are several chips, he displays wonderful and you don't really notice the chips at all. A nice large and heavy weighted piece, he measures 9 1/2 inches high by 5 1/2 inches wide and is marked on the bottom with impressed letters and numbers. Pair Lady Antique Dresden French Sevres Samson Porcelain Doll Meissen Figurine
This is a rare huge pair of French porcelain figures.a royal couple dressed beautifully in gilt and hand painted clothing with porcelain lace trim! They measure 16 inches high each by 6 inches wide at the base and are very heavy weighted. They were created c1880-1890s and are superb displays! Overall display excellent. There is a few damages. His one finger is half broken and she had a fan I believe in her hand that was broken off. Some of the lace decoration is missing and there are a few minor flake chips on the base. This is a gorgeous French Sevres porcelain figurine of a Victorian lady and her gentleman suitor. They look as if they are dancing and he is about to give her a kiss. This is a beautiful rare to find early porcelain French bisque figure of two sweet cherubs hugging on the end of a pretty blue shoe. It was created mid 1800s by the Vion& Baury factory of France. You usually see this model made by other companies in a larger size and not quite as finely detailed as this one. It measures 4 x 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 inches and displays beautifully. Just two small shallow chips to one side of the ruffle, hard to notice on display due to the white ruffles. ANTIQUE FRENCH PORCELAIN FIGURINE JACOB PETIT SEVRES DRESDEN MEISSEN KPM ?
It's a very unique figurine made to hang on a wall that was surrounded by a all kinds of figurines from Royal Worcester.Daulton and Windsor,Dresden and Meissen and almost every Hummel ever made.It's in a antique frame that's probably older than the figurine.There's no way to get the plaque off without taking a chance on breaking it.I would like to find a makers mark and believe me I've tried.That's why the starting price is were it's at.The plaque is attached to a silk like material then to a board that has a weird loop and nail assembly that attaches it to the frame.I can't find anything quite like it that's both a figurine and wall plaque of this quality.I think it's French porcelain and looks like something Jacob Petit could have done but it's not as ornate as most of his pieces and I think it's ... moreto old to be his.My best guess would be Sevres but it has the same quality you would see from any quality manufacture.The figurine is in excellent condition without any chips or cracks.The gold is worn on the shoes and a couple other places.This frame is really old and has some hairline cracks I've pictured.It measures 17" x 14" and is similar to the frames of the George 111 era.

This is an early French bisque statue of a beautiful woman in the garden with a swallow. It was created by the Vion& Baury factory of France circa 1860-70. She is a large and heavy weighted piece at 21 inches to the top of her extended arm. The detailing is exquisite and she has a beautiful realistically painted face. She displays very well however has suffered a broken finger. The swallow was repaired and I think part of that finger on the hand holding the swallow. I also believe there were three birds at one time on her dress that are now missing. The tiara in her hair has some wear. Antique French Porcelain Bisque Lady Victorian Sevres Figurine Doll Bohemian
This is a beautiful finely hand painted porcelain bisque French or Bohemian figure of a lovely young lady getting ready to dip her feet in the water. It is a heavy weighted large piece at almost 11 inches high by 7 1/4 inches in diameter at the base. The overall condition is excellent. I just see one very small flake chip to the back of one of the green pieces of ribbon coming off her hat. It dates mid to late 1800s and the bottom is marked with impressed numbers and the letter N. This is a quite stunning Sevres parian figurine group with the original porcelain base with text of which: During our research we have been informed it cer tainly dates from c1907 as incised to the rear of the figurine group. To the rear of the parian figurine group: a Sevres mark. Dated c1907 and a designer mark of G.L. Of a French origin. Original porcelain circular base with the cobalt blue colouring. Has text in gilt and was presented to M. F. E. BRAY and was presented at a Naval Conference c1908-1909. Underneath Sevres marks and dates of c1909. The Sevres parian figurine group with the base was part of a very interesting house clearance about 5/6 years ago.The owner of the London house worked for the American Embassy here in the uk. He and his family had been here for about 5 years and needed to get back to the USA to take on another ... morerole in the USA. My interest was in the 16th century oak furniture which had been purchased by the American couple with some other items. The owner wanted more than the current value of the oak furniture and during negotiations this Sevres parian figurine group. A wooden blackamoor figure, other ceramics and some quite superb paintings were included.The majority of these items were auctioned in a well known international auction house. The parian figurine group i kept and displayed in the drawing room in my own house since the house clearance. Due to my recent moving of house, change of decor, i am listing the quite stunning Sevres parian figurine group. Parian. Wonderful overall intricate figurine group with the male& semi naked female classical figurines& two children. Both are portrayed with the two children. One being carried and other behind. Beautiful expression on his face. The figure has been marked under glaze with the hayfork marks for George Macheleid who established the factory in 1760. These marks were used from 1760 until 1799.
