Antique Porcelain Bisque Figurine of a victorian boy dressed in period clothing. Holding a flower leaning on a fence. Late 19th century- Early 20th century. Actual date is unknown believed to be of German origin. The boy is standing on a porcelain pedestal painted to look like marble. Ornate design painted on his clothing. Bright rosy cheeks, a fence with shrubs. The detailed gold gilt is rubbed off in some places through out the statue and he could could use a bath. I did not clean him. There is a very small chip on his left shoulder and there are no cracks. The overall condition of this piece is very good especially considering his age. I took many photo's in high definition at every angle and left the photo's side way's for a larger more detailed look. He stands 16 1/4 inches Tall and is 4 1/2 inches at the base. Antique Victorian Parian figure of the Three Graces. Measures 10 inches tall. Condition is excellent with all fingers and toes intact which is very hard to find in these pieces.the only thing I can find is a tiny flake or flaw on the base which I have pictured next to a pencil tip for you to see the size.its very small and hardly noticible.but im picky.The piece has a beautiful creamy white color and is not stained.Nice early model and in great shape.

Offered for auction is this excellent Victorian parian bust of Clytie. No chips. Cracks or other flaws except for a few minor chips to the underside rim of the base. These may not be chips but manufacture defects, but they are irrelevant as they are not in any way visible unless you turn the bust completely upside down. I mention them only for extreme accuracy. This is a beautiful pair of 16" tall antique Continental and most likely French figurines of a well dressed couple from the late 19th century. Quality and detail is exquisite. Very lifelike expressions on faces and raised intricate beading and decoration details throughout their elaborate dress from head to toe. Not being able to locate a mark at all would date them to earlier than 1892. They do resemble the work of VION& BAURY of Paris especially with the detail on the bases with the very sharp maroon design of C scrolls. Fine detail in face, body and clothing and anatomically correct. There are two tiny holes in her fingers to hold knitting needles. I inserted some tooth picks. Late 1800s Victorian Era As her dog leans in hopefully for a bite of her sandwich. A pretty young girl elbows him gently away. The words"DON'T BE GREEDY" are painted/ impressed on the base. Created by Robinson and Leadbeter. Producers of fine parian ware, Stoke on Trent. England. Marked with impressed R&L(see thumbnail photo) The R&L mark on this piece was used between 1885-1905. A beautiful antique heavy working lamp. This lamp is made entirely at the Robinson& Leadbeter pottery; it is not a later adaptation. RARE to find one of their wonderful dog statues as a lamp-this is the very first I've seen. All of it is porcelain. Even the base. The modeling ... moreis very detailed. The young girl's tights are deeply ribbed for instance. And the dog's fur looks so soft and curly and real that you're tempted to run your fingers through it. The little girl has a sweet face, with chubby cheeks and pouty baby lips, and the short toddler hair which puts her at about 2 or 3 years of age. Her dog friend has a wonderfully expressive face. The painter has done a fine job capturing the dog's bright-eyed excitement as he eyes the sandwich, yum! So life-like. Reflecting the quality and attention to detail this manufactory is known for. They were in direct competition with the Minton Pottery, also at Stoke-on-Trent in England, and so always aimed for and achieved the highest quality modeling and painting. LARGE SIZE Very impressive on display: 15" to top of girl's head; 18" to top of socket; the base is 12" x 9" It is quite heavy. Feels like about 10 lbs, though I haven't weighed it yet. Victorian Early Parian figure of Dorothea by Minton / John Bell - Circa 1850
This is a fine piece of Parian by Minton. The subject is Dorothea and it was modeled by John Bell. Measurements: 14 inches in height. Condition: the is in good condition with age appropriate wear. There are two known issues. There is a chip to Dorothea's cap on her left shoulder. Also. It appears her shoe was reattached in an early repair. See photos for more detail. Base is marked"Minton" and"189" for the model number. On the side. It has the Minton moulded marks applied in relief including the Felix Summerly and John Bell cartouche in use circa 1847-9. And it has the registered diamond indicating that this design was registered at the Patent Office on Oct. 4, 1847. He is seated at the side of a milestone which reads, IV miles to London" and titled"Dick Whittington" at the front of the base plinth. Impressed"S29" to the rear of the plinth. Dating to the second half of the 19th Century and based on the original sculpture by Charles Bell Birch, that was exhibited at the Great Exhibition of 1851, at Crystal Palace. Beautiful Victorian figurine made by Robinson& Leadbeater around 1871 in England. Parian Ware sculpture of two owls cuddling. At the base of the figurine it says"Match Making" The tree stump is open and was used as a match holder. 7" tall x 6" x 5" It is also marked on the back with the identifying diamond shape and markings(see photo) It could use a cleaning but I'm going to leave that up to the buyer. I've taken many photos so please examine carefully and email me with any questions. Excellent vintage condition but I believe that the right owl has a small nick on the ear. Not noticeable and took me forever to notice it. This is hard to find and exquisite. It will be carefully packed for shipping! Sorry no returns.

The Figure depicts a beautiful young Girl with a Large Flower Basket and Flowers in one hand. In a seated position. The Statue is top notch quality throughout featuring some of the finest details I have seen in Parian ware and though unmarked as to maker I am sure it would be by one of the top makers such as Minton or Copeland. The Figure displays beautifully with some small flaws which are only seen up close including a missing finger, a repaired finger and minor losses to the Flowers. I absolutely love this Figure and it is a nice large size for display in your home measuring 13-1/2" tall by 8" wide by 7" deep. The Girl has a beautiful smile and I am sure the new owner will love her as much as I do. According to the English Registry Marks these were proofed February 3. 1862. Investment grade parian ware wall plaques. These are museum quality pieces, sure to appreciate in value. These will fit into any fine art setting. A"similar" pair sold in much worse condition for $971.00 at Christies of London in 2013. The works are known as Allegories of Night and Day. Exquisite workmanship and high grade detail in every aspect will awe all who admire these. In superb condition, could use a professional cleaning as dust has accrued in the nooks and crannies. Victorian Good Templars Motto FAITH HOPE CHARITY Figure Statue Parian Ware Good Used Condition ~ No chips or cracks. There is a tiny kiln crack spot on the bottom edge from when this was fired in the making. There are some black flecks in the porcelain itself. I don't know what caused this.
