A fine. Large bisque porcelain bust of 18th century French writer and thinker Denis Diderot on a cobalt blue gilt socle manufactured at Sèvres in the last quarter of the 19th century. White. Bisque porcelain bust of the author of the Encyclopédie. And one of Sèvre's 19th century series of busts honoring French royalty, military and artistic heroes. Beautifully-modeled features as well as outstanding translation of cloth folds. see the detailed images above. The bust sits(and is bolted) on a clean. Solid royal blue socle with gilding along the perimeter. The bisque is incised: SEVRES and A*7*79 on the back; the socle is stamped: S.74 and Doré à Sèvres 80. Very good condition. This pair of Continental European Busts measure about 5.5" + 5.25" tall each. I actually found a similar piece with a sticker on it about 4 months ago. I took a picture of it so to remember the maker. And can't find the picture. Sorry. They are nicely made, but really excellently glazed. They have a very neat crackle luster glaze on them. The man has a glaze chip to the side of his beard.

Listed is a Rare 1940's/1950's Porcelain Vintage Hawaiian Hula Girl Figurine. Decanter and Music Box. I am not an expert on this item but I will list the information that I have researched. In looking over the entire piece I only found 3 flower petals with very minute chips, it is hard to even see them, otherwise, the remainder of the figurine is in Excellent Condition with no cracks or crazing. Her head has a cork stopper. The original music box does not play but is included with a sticker on the bottom that says Wales Japan. There is a new music box that comes with her. She measures 10.5" in height X 6" front to back X 5" side to side. I came across this item while visiting an Antique Store and as I was leaving a person brought her in, I felt it was a unique find. For sale is a beautiful figurine depicting Madonna with a baby Jesus. It was made in Germany by Goebel Porcelain. This is a very elegant figurine. It has been meticulously hand painted in pastel colors, with Madonna’s shawl being a lovely blue color, which seems to change from a light tone to a darker tone depending on the angle you look at it from. Her and her child’s face have been painted in a lifelike way. It has the word Germany and the full bee sign on the bottom, which was used by Goebel from 1950-1955. The back of the figurine is numbered 54-4. It measures approximately 6.25 inches tall and 4.25 inches wide at the base. It is in excellent condition with no damage. Ceramic Art Nouveau/Art Deco Egyptian Revival Monkey Figurine
Nice estate find. A ceramic monkey that has been made to look like bronze. At one time this faux bronze had more if a goldish patina applied. Age has resulted in it wearing a bit thin. The piece has no cracks or chips, but does have some scuffing as well as small areas of red paint on the face and white on the back. While I am calling it ceramic, it has an unusual feel and ring, yet not quite metal so your guess is as good as mine! The base is is just under 2 inches by 1 3/4 inches across. It stands about 3.5 inches tall. This would make a nice desk or bookcase piece. Please review the photos closely and email with any questions.

Vintage Pair Ardalt Japanese Piano Players
This a a pair of Ardalt Japanese porcelain piano players. The man is marked 6625A inside and the lady is marked 6635B. These were my Mom's and she purchased them back in the early 1950's at an antique store in Brooklyn. NY. They have been in the same spot in her home, the fireplace mantle, since then. They are in mint condition. No chips, or cracks. On the bottom of each piece is green stick on felt which was put on not to scratch the mantle. They move beautifully. They are a perfect match although in the single photo the man seems a bit lighter than the female, it is only the photo. The bottoms of the neck extensions are covered in paper. On the female there appears to be a small piece of scotch tape holding the edge of this paper due to the paper deteriorating based on age. Any questions feels free to ask.

Lovely gal riding the back of a large white pig. She was dressed for the ride. Also under her skirt at the back. Is a small tray for jewelry or cufflinks, or change, or earrings, or whatever. I cannot find any defects with the piece. Size is 7 1/4" long, 3" wide, 5 3/4 tall. I have had this piece for quite a few years. Classic Deco. I think that his hoofs had alittle more color at some time. I have not been able to locate a signature or other type of maker mark.

This antique victorian porcelain figurine is wonderful. This piece has been on a plateau on my vanity for about twenty years. Before that it was on my desk and I put air fern into the tree trunk.This porcelain piece would also look nice in a show case. The mother is pumping the well handle and the little boy is ready to fill the jar with water. There is a marking on the bottom. But, I do not know what it means. In my watch this piece fell to the floor and the mother broke her head completely off. It was a clean break and we glued the head back on and she has continued to look perfect for the last twenty years. Some reflections of the camera are showing in the photos. A nice solid heavy figurine, about 11.4 ounces. See photos.

C1900 Set of 12 German Dresden Porcelain Reticulated Plates Hand Painted, This listing is for a circa 1910 German Dresden figural centerpiece of a cherub riding on the back of a swan. The piece measures 7 inches 17.7 cm high. And is 8 inches or 20.3 cm at its widest. The figural centerpiece features the figure of a swan with a cherub on its back. The cherub has quiver over its shoulder and has a wreath of flower on its head. The cherub is shown holding reins in its hands that are tied to the swans neck. The piece is marked on the bottom with impressed initials“ML” and the number“205” The figural centerpiece is in good condition. The face of the swan has an old repair and the wires in the cherubs hands have been replaced at some point in time. This is a sweet lady holding a flower in her hand. Face looks somewhat young but, hair is gray looking. Pretty dress with ruffles and a petticoat over her dress also with ruffles.
