1880's LARGE NOUVEAU LADY WITH BASKET BOWL - FIGURAL CENTERPIECE
This figural piece is very old. I would estimate 1880's. She does have a few knicks in the glaze; one back of her dress one on the base. A bottom piece of one bow is missing. There is a hairline across three fingers on the right hand. With all that said she is a great ceramic piece of art nouveau. She measures 10-1/2 inches tall by 9 inches wide. She is in a soft light brown. The inside of the basket is light green. Her skin and face are ivory. She is a lovely original piece. She looks like amphora but the only marking is a#4 on the bottom. Lenci Deco Nude Figurine Purple Cactus Torino
This Lenci Deco Nude with purple hair and purple cactus is 13-1/4" high. Notice that there is a pale yellow flower on the cactus. I believe that the armless state of the figurine is a reference to the Venus de Milo. The mark on the bottom includes the initials of the artist LR. Whom I have not yet identified. I believe that this is a rare figure, since I have not come across any other examples in my research. This piece comes out of a long time collection of a friend and is in excellent condition, no dings, cracks, crazing, flea bites or other damage. Three are marked Japan and the largest is marked Shafford and he appears slightly different, darker than the others. This sweet porcelain cherub and violet chariot figurine has been in my collection for 30+/ years. Even though I've moved a number of times over the past 30 years. This has always gone with me-just too charming to let it go! This time I'm in a really small space and a lot of things have to find new homes! Even with all the moves, it has been packed really well so it's still in great condition. Research indicates that it is probably from Royal Sealy of Japan. Best guesstimate of age is 1950's. Rare Antique French Bisque Porcelain Statue Bust Figurine The Duet Signed
This is a rare opportunity to own a work of art by renowned sculpture Edouard Lanteri titled The Duet. Edouard Lanteri was a French- born British sculptor and medalist 1848- 1917 whose Romantic French style of sculpting was seen as influential among exponents of New Sculpture. Feel free to Google him if you would like to learn more about him. This 19th century sculpture is signed ED. LANTERI and was made in France. I tried to take a picture of his signature, and if you look at the picture of the claw foot you will be able to see the signature, its a little hard to see as it just did not photograph well. It is in wonderful condition, there are no hairline cracks that I can see there is something that looks like a few tiny cuts in some areas, but it looks like it was due to the firing process and,only a little wear to a part of the front of ... morethe base of this piece which is to be expected for its age. It is bisque, porcelain and really very beautiful. the dimensions are 15 1/4 inches wide x 19 inches high, the depth is 12 1/2 inches and weighs about 36 pounds. Please see all the pictures closely as the details on this piece are amazing from the expression on the two women's faces to the details on their fingers and hair, and the folds in the fabric, look at the claw feet on the bench, it is so realistic. Due to the age of this piece, it could use a cleaning in the crevices. The original of this piece was done in marble and is in London. This bisque version has come up only a few times in auction houses such as Christies and Sotheby's. There was one up for auction just like this one in the auction house Dorotheum which is one of the oldest auction houses in Europe located in Vienna with other branches throughout Europe, and the estimate for this same piece is $4800 to $8300. Two tropical fish white ceramic figurines. Very similar but not identical. Definitely part of a set of some sort. Measurements are approximately 5 1/2" tall x 6" from head to tale x 2" wide. The hand-painted eyes are mostly worn off but could easily be repainted. There are matching sticker-tags on the bottoms that are too worn to read but someone with some antique/vintage knowledge would probably know more about these.

Hand painted in pastel colors with great care and detail featuring a boy and a girl in Victorian style outfit and poses, presumably German origin, probably mid 1900s. Figurines were acquired from an estate auction of a collector and are in good condition with some wear on hats and some marking on the socks. No hairlines or broken pieces. Here is a beautifully made European transparent porcelain vase with a boy leaning against a sea shell with pine cones across the front. It is of pastel colors. It is highly glazed. I don't know the maker although there is an anchor inscribed in the bottom very hard to see. Along with the numbers 8120, and in red 122. Thanks to a knowledgeable fellow ebayer, this is German and could be by Carl Schneider or his heirs. Many thanks to this kind person for helping me out. It is approximately 6 1/2" tall and 5" wide. To opera, to exquisite charming ladies; to mythology and to Don Quixote! This one is imaginative and humorous. Don Quixote is reading a book. about him. Of course! The coloring is always different on each of the same pieces, so every individual piece is unique. This piece is in Very Good Condition. It is an older piece. Pictured in the 1970 Boncompagni catalog. It is 8 and 3/4 inches by 5 and 12 inches by 8 inches. The world lost a great artist when Antonio Borsato died in an automobile accident in 1982. Borsato worked endlessly to make each creation a melody of color and movement. Borsato originals are sculptured in the full-round with no blank surfaces with the entire piece completely ... morehand colored with brilliant artistry.
