Every piece is unique because it is hand made. It was made in Greece, stands 13 centimeters width, 31 centimeters high, 24 centimeters length and weighs approximately 5.6 kg. Marble base 14cmx14cm) The prototype for these helmets is the plain, uncrested Corinthian style of the 6th century BC. Originals of these can be seen in museums across the world, but the prototypes are in the Goulandris Collection in the Museum of Cycladic Art. The techniques remained basically the same as the earlier Egyptian and Assyrian styles though embossed or stamped plates of gold and silver became a predominant basic element. Granulation in gold continued and was developed in Etruria to a remarkable degree of delicate refinement. A rare and beautiful Ancient Greek Hellenistic decorated bronze offering bowl or phiale. Dating to approximately 350 B.C. Hammered from a single sheet of bronze with flattened base and steep. Curved walls. The shoulder of the piece decorated with vertical ridges. A small crack in the bowl has been restored in antiquity. The ancient workman using six miniature rivets to hold the piece back together. Four of the original rivets remain. Fascinating evidence of the objects high value in antiquity. CORINTHIAN STYLE HELMET- SPARTANS WARRIOR HELMET This is a beautiful Corinthian style helmet. This helmet is made of bronze material. Giving the piece a classic appearance. Every piece is unique because it is hand made. It was made in Greece, stands 27 centimeters high, 25 centimeters length and weighs approximately 4.7 kg. Marble base 14cmx14cm) The prototype for these helmets is the plain, uncrested Corinthian style of the 6th century BC. Originals of these can be seen in museums across the world, but the prototypes are in the Goulandris Collection in the Museum of Cycladic Art. The crests would not have been in bronze and the original helmets are much'thinner' than our reproductions which are definitely not to be worn!
