Antique Victorian Old Leaded Glass Transom Window c1890 Textured Glue Chip Glass

The frame(2” thick) is painted on both sides and is sturdy with no rotting or other condition issues. In the frame. It measures 65”w x 16”h and the measurement for the glass only is 60”w x 11 1/2”h. The border of the window is textured glass and the foliate pattern is done in a mix of textured and glue chip glass which is a technique where they sand blast the glass first. Then“paint” it with glue, then put it into a low fired kiln so when it’s fired, it actually“rips” the glass and creates the pattern. The lead veins are strong with no breakage or bowing. ONE screen has a hole- the rest are tight and intact. These measure 67.5" x 33 7/8" wide x 1 3/16" thick. The divider bar measures from the top to the middle- 32 3/8" from the bottom- 34 5/8" to the middle of the bar. Each screen has two original eye hook screws on the bottom on one side. Beautiful Victorian era stained glass window. Original frame. Meaures 44" wide by 24 3/8" tall. Tan side is the outside. Very small cracks in two areas. Frame naturally shows some wear since it was an exterior window. Lead came in excellent condition. We have personally owned this window for over twenty years. We remodeled the kitchen and didn't have an area for it afterwards. It was not exposed to the elements while we owned it. It was framed inside the home. The window was on the first and second floor- exterior measurements from peak to bottom of the sill measure 91" tall- is 84" wide across peak and 69.5" wide on sill. Window area measures 28" wide by 74" high- has a storm window with same dimensions and a pair of arched shutters with same dimensions when closed. Interior molding measurements are 76" wide x 103" high. Glass panes are 12" wide x 34" high. They are great for a new construction or even restoration. Have sold these for barn projects also. Wonderful 4 pc lot of cast iron window sash locks that are marked Champion. Some have a little more wear than others. But all are in overall good antique condition. Please look closely at the pictures. The inner latch works are cleverly concealed. These antique locks seem to be in great working condition. They measure 1 3/4" high all put together. The top eagle claw piece measures about 2 1/2" wide, the holes are 2" apart. The smaller bottom piece measures 2 3/8" wide and the holes are 1 3/4" apart. Great piece for remodeling. The BIN price is for one(1) of the pictured latches and one(1) keeper. This style and size and the fact that they are solid cast brass/bronze make these some of the hardest to find latches. These are primarily used on casement windows but they work well and look great on cabinets or other places you’d like to use a unique looking latch. The latch and keeper will work on either right or left hand side of door or window. The keepers are not the original to the latches. The keepers were modified so the latch could be surface mounted and ... morethe keeper would be semi mortised in the jam. The latches are cast bronze– brass and the keepers are steel. The working condition is very good with the latches having age darkening and loss of finish from usage. All I did to these was a quick wiping down with an oiled rag so you’re getting them in as found condition. But solid brass/bronze will polish up superbly using a buffing wheel with a dab of brass polish on a power drill. The approximate measurements of the latch is 6 ¼” long x 1 1/8” and the center to center of the screw holes is 1 3/8’ x ½” And the keeper is 1 5/8” wide x 1 5/8” and the center to center on the screw holes are 1” Free first class shipping in a padded envelope.
