Beautifully Hand Crafted Sterling Silver Tetsubin w/ Chrysanthemum Motif
This beautifully crafted tetsubin looks to date from the early 1900's. Features chrysanthemum floral decoration, and bears a small chop mark on the bottom. It has been tested as sterling and weighs approximately 11 ounces. It looks to have been extensively used judging from the wear and many small dents and dings as can be seen in photographs. The tetsubin measures 7 inches tall with its handle raised by 6 inches wide including the spout. Satisfaction is guaranteed, so bid with confidence! Thanks for looking.

Japanese Tea Ceremony Tetsubin with Incised Yin and Yang Motif - Signed
This auction if for a Japanese tea ceremony tetsubin. I am unsure of the metal. And it is likely tin, pewter or nickel and could very well be a combination of several or all metals. This teapot likely dates to the late 19th to early 20th century. There is a incised Yin and Yang motif. It is in good condition for its age but there is lots of overall wear and minor dings. It measures 13 cm in height with handle x 16 cm in width handle to spout with a vessel diameter of 10 cm. This item is signed. This is a quite nice vintage Japanese Tetsu bin. A cast iron tea kettle from Japan that I was told was 100 years old. It came from the property of an old local Japanese man that is now in a care home. This piece while not really fancy is really pleasing shape with some silver inlay decoration on the handle and the lid is a patinated copper that shows wood grain pattern in the form of slightly raised graining effect by the use of different hardnesses of metals. see the picture.
