Vintage Pumpkin Shaped Satsuma or Kutani Hand Painted Tea Pot with Maker's Mark
Beautiful pumpkin shaped tea pot with beautiful oriental painting of Geisha woman and scenery. Teapot has a royal blue around the top. Spout and on the handle of the pot, there is a red orange used throughout the piece on the figures and also is background for the maker's mark. There is gold trim throughout the piece. The gold on the lid knob is worn some from use. Also on the lid is a few scratches in the gold. There is also wear to the gold trim around the opening of the tea pot. It looks like there may have been gold on the handle at one time. But all that remains is a fleck on the top. There are no cracks or chips. There is one firing flaw in the inside of the pot which is a blue color, it is not raised just a spot of color under the glaze. Please refer to pics. Estate Treasures Policies We sell vintage. Antique Hand Painted Nagoya Kutani Porcelain Gilded Geisha Tea Pot & Sugar Bowl
According to the seals on their bottoms this hand painted. Fabulous porcelain tea pot and sugar bowl set was made in the Nagoya/Kutani area, in Japan, sometimes around the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The tea pot is 4 1/2" high and 7 5/8" wide from spout to handle. The sugar bowl is 3 3/4" high and 6" wide at the handles. The amazingly detailed, nicely painted, well known Geisha Girl scenes on them are flooded with incredibly rich gold decoration. Despite their ages the gold and the paint is in excellent condition, there is only one tiny spot with paint loss on the knob of the lid of the sugar bowl but even that looks like to be under the glaze. Unfortunately, there is a small damage on the tip of the spout of the tea pot and a few fleabites on the inner rim of the sugar bowl,see pictures) but the appearance of ... morethe set, even with these imperfections, is breathtakingly beautiful. This is a vintage Japanese teapot with a snakeskin styled finish on it. It is not hallmarked. It has 4 cups and an extra plate/saucer, the saucer is not quite the excate same but I got it with this set so I am selling it with it. The teapot, 2 of the cups and saucer are in excellent condition, however 2 of the cups have chips along the edge. They all could use a good cleaning the teapot looks a little darker than the cups. The teapot is 6 1/2" across to the tip of handle by 5 3/4" to the tip of spout, and is 4 1/4" tall the cups are 3 1/4" across by 2 1/4" tall. the saucer is 4 3/4' square. A 4-piece lot of Meiji Period Kutani ware made in Japan. The signed hand painted jar is 4" tall and 4 3/4" in diameter. it has a touched up shallow chip on the bottom rim as shown. Japanese Porcelain Kutani Ware Tea Set Service for 4, Tea Pot, Sugar/Creamer +
This is a very nice vintage Japanese Porcelain Kutani Ware Tea Set Service for four. Service includes a Tea Pot. A Covered Sugar Bowl and Creamer and four Teacups with Saucers. Tea pot is about 7" tall. Creamer and sugar bowl are 3" to 3 1/2" tall. Cups are about 2 1/4" tall and 2 1/2" in diameter. Saucers are about 4 1/2" in diameter. Pieces have intricate rural scenes hand-painted in gold. Pieces have some use-related wear to the gold trim but there are no chips or cracks that we could find. This petite tea set would be a welcome addition to any table or collection. Returns accepted for unused products only.

Beautiful Antique Japanese Kutani Satsuma Porcelain Tea Pot, Hand Painted
40 years ago my father bought a container of antiques from The UK. This piece was in there. This Tea Pot is for real, not a reproduction, a beautiful hand-painted Japanese Tea/ Coffee pot. Based on the stamp( HAND PAINTED MADE IN JAPAN) I am dating this between 1920 and 1940. Tea pot measures 9.50" tall with top on and 5" across at the base. I can not find any chips. Cracks, flea bites or crazing, other than a to be expected factory flaw this piece is outstanding.

For your consideration is a vintage antique porcelain tea pot from Japan. I believe this may be Kutani. But not sure. It is hand painted and signed on the bottom. White background with Geisha girls. Had red and gold bands and the lily pad top. Stands 7 1/2" tall and is 8" from spout to handle total. Bowl is 5" in diameter. No chips or cracks. KUTANI WARE White Porcelain Gold Leaf Hand Painted 1950's Tea Pot w/ Lid
This is an absolutely gorgeous vintage KUTANI Ware Tea Pot. I believe this might be Hayasi Kutani. But not 100% certain, circa 1930's-1950's. The teapot stands about 5.5" tall. The lid adds another about 2" It is handpainted with gold leaf. There are no other colors on this pattern. There are some spots of wearing off of the gold leaf(pictured) and the pot has been used before, but still in very good to excellent condition. It does not sit exactly flat, as each piece is hand made. The bottom of the mug has HAND PAINTED KUTANI JAPAN and the maker's mark(which I believe says Kutani) This is painted in the same gold leaf as the scene.

Teapot measures approximately 7.5" x 5" x 4.5" Creamer measures approximately 4" x 3" x 3" Gorgeous. And very detailed, hand-painted scenery, geishas, flowers, and designs. Blood orange and gold paints were used to rim the teapot. I purchased these from an estate in Virginia years ago. Without any papers. I was told they were from the late 1800s or early 1900s. I do not see any markings on these. There are some minor spots with paint loss. NO chips or cracks found on either piece.
