This is a very unique(and adjustable) lamp and has"Hubbell" on the switch(see ... morepicture) This item stands about 7" tall without the shade or bulb and around 10" with bulb and shade(came with a 25 watt bulb which is not included) and weighs a bit under two pounds. To my surprise this lamp is adjustable in heigh t. The metal base unscrews to make this lamp go from 7" up to about 9 1/2" 12 1/2" with shade and bulb) This piece shows great patina throughout and is being left to next buyer as to how much cleaning is to be done. The wiring on this lamp is definitely older and may need to be redone. As you can see from one of the pictures it does(or at least did) work when I carefully and cautiously tested it! I cannot guarantee that it will continue to work without rewiring. That being said I am including pictures to show the plug and socket wires. Some fraying of the cloth cover is evident at both ends. I would rather err on the side of being cautious but the rest of the cord seems to be in fairly good shape. No tape jobs or cuts. The"HUBBELL" switch seems to turn nicely and has great on/ off clicks. The shade(which is non metallic) sort of snaps around the bulb. Pictures will show this mechanism on the inside of the shade. I am not sure of the age of this lamp. But I knew it was something different and unique when I saw and obtained it. Hopefully you will too and give it a good home. This is a very unique full size bed with rounded edges and very nice rosette and scrollwork castings supporting the curved tubes and straight rods. The rails are marked IDEAL. The bed is pretty sturdy and the hitches fit nice and tight. All you see is what is included. There are no supportive slats. The bed measures roughly 54 inches wide and 80 inches long. The frame size is about 54x76 inches(mattress space) The headboard is about 6.4 inches tall and the footboard is about 40 inches tall. The paint is chipped all over which gives it a great look. But if it is going in a childs room, we would recommend sandblasting, priming and painting the entire bed. Antique Dark Oak Bed and Dresser
I do not buy antiques for their monetary value. I buy pieces because I like them. Therefore. I really do not know details on my items(sorry, I know it makes it more difficult for others to buy them) I believe these are oak and I believe they are from the 1800s. You are buying the bed frame and dresser(not mattress and box springs) The frame for this bed is full size. As pictured, I use a metal converter frame to make it queen size(you can see that my mattress sticks out a bit from the frame) Headboard is 6 feet high. Dresser measures 42" wide. 20" deep and 78" tall. They are in a smoke-free and pet-free home. I think they are in very good condition. Any damage I have found is listed above. 1680`s ? baroque ornately carved 4 poster canopy bed Italian wedding Hapsburg
Bought this at a large antique show in Florida about 25 years ago.out of a Miami Beach estate. Was told it was from the 1680`s with the rails having been lengthened in the 1800`s. From their research it had a Hapsburg crest on the footboard and a nobleman`s crest on the headboard. Called an Italian wedding bed but would have been used in a summer place rather than the main castle/estate. Each post has a different agricultural product/leaf/vine.one is grapes. One oak leaves and not sure what the other 2 are. Has a custom mattress and very thin box spring/ sub support. It`s a tad too short to use a queen mattress. I had it set up strictly as a showpiece and used occasionally to meditate on when it had a fabric top gathered in the center. It includes custom velvet spread and 2 pillow shams.

Beautiful antique maple and poplar bed. Rails appear to be chestnut. Finish is nice and there is some nice figure in the wood of some of the panels. Nice carving and pressing in the panels and frame. Some minor wear. The headboard is 68" tall by ~56" wide. Footboard is 30" tall by ~56" wide. The complete bed is about 76" long. Mattress. Size would be 72" x 54" or any size mattress if the rails weren't used and the head and footboard were attached to a metal frame. Local pickup only.

This bed was made by my husband from the hedge post that were torn out of a fence row of his grandpa's which we farm. The post are over 60 years old that we took from the fence when we rebuilt it. The post are very unusual in shape. The picture does not show the king bed in its true size. There are wooden full length bedsides that would go along with the bed if you purchase the bed. My husband makes a variety of rustic log furniture with various types of wood. Get this bed before it is gone because there will not be another one like this one.
