This is a group from a set of Bassett Furniture in the Japanese style. There are 4 main items: 1 tall and 1 wide dresser. Plus 2 nightstands. The drawers have dovetails in all 4 corners. Handles/Hardware is brass(most likely) The tall one(48" x 40" x 20" features a double tall drawer about 11 inches high. One smaller drawer has a veneer chip outside(see closeup photo for that) 2 upper drawers in the wide dresser(32" x 60" x 20" have felt inside. Glass for the tops to protest them is included for 3 of them(not one nightstand) Nightstands are 22.5" x 23" x 16" I found no heavy scratches. All I rate good to very good. Antique Vintage 1940's Bedroom Furniture Set Suite Art Deco
This set belonged to my parents. Originally purchased in the mid-1940's. When they liked something, they liked it-and kept it. It's in very good condition. There is a scratch on the top of one side of the dresser, as shown in a photo. One leg apparently had weakened and my father had repaired it with a piece of sheet metal, as shown. It doesn't show on the outside edge, but they always had a long bedspread over it, so it didn't show, anyway. The drawers are all very clean, as shown. Norman Bel Geddes 1930's Modern/Industrial/Machine Age/Art Deco Design 5 Piece Steel Bedroom Set Green& White Pastel Colors These rock solid pieces were acquired by me several years ago. They've been in air conditioned storage since that time. I've seen several pieces from this collection by Simmons. But I've never seen the bed, nor I have I ever seen them all together in one set. These were commonly used by the medical profession. They are rare, that's for sure. The finish of the paint is still in remarkable condition, though they still need a thorough cleaning. Many of the pictures show the shiny surface of the paint, which was manufactured by DuPont. The metal surface was prepared and sprayed with a rust proofer by the Parker Rust Proof Co, with their product called Bonderite. I tried my best to display in detail the extent of the abrasions. Dents and scratches. Examine the pictures carefully. This is one of the oldest furniture companies in America. Not only beautiful, but high-quality, and an investment; furniture that you will hand down throughout the generations. Not 100% sure of the age. But It is definitely vintage. See the photo of the Kindel logo, ... morewhich is found inside every piece in the top drawer. This may help you to determine the exact age. The logo is also on the footboard and headboard. We purchased this at a local auction. But it was definitely owned by"grandma" The drawers were lined in thick parchment paper, and we found buttons, hairpins, and things of that nature. Also smells a bit like grandma's house, LOL. Estimated* dimensions are as follows: Five Drawer Highboy/ Tall Dresser: 58" tall- top to bottom 20 1/2" deep at the deepest point(which is the very top of the dresser) front to back 35 1/4" wide at the wide point(which is the tops/fat parts of the legs) side to side Bottom drawer is quite deep and has 2 removable dividers. Appear original to the set. Four Drawer Dresser: 38 1/4" tall- top to bottom 21" deep at the deepest point(which is the very top of the dresser) front to back 42" wide at the wide point(which is the tops/fat parts of the legs) side to side Top drawer has 2 stationary dividers. A few of the drawers have the small organizers in the corner which can be removed(JIFFEE TRA) The dresser measures about 56" wide x 18"in depth x 34" high. The chifferobe measures about 39" wide x 16" in depth x 47" high. The nightstand measures about 17" wide x 12" in depth x 25" high. Recently found antique bedroom set includes bed header and fooder(side frame pieces are broken) vanity dresser with mirror attached; upright bureau with unattached mirror; wall bureau. End table. All five pieces in very good shape, minor scratches. a tiny bit of front wood missing from one drawer in taller upright bureau, barely noticeable. All found in Brooklyn house I am cleaning out after my uncle's death. These belonged to his mother who bought them we believe early 1900s or depression era at the lates.

Please read the entire description and view the photos to get a feel for the condition of this item. Today I'm offering a vintage Barbie sized bedroom furniture set. It is made of particle board with a metal bed frame. The frame attaches to the headboard with pins. However, the original pins are missing. I used small wires to attach the bed to the headboard and will include them. I also cut out a foam rubber'mattress' but did not make a bedspread or pillows, as the next owner may want something different than what I would have chosen. The doll and her dress are not included- only to give a sense of scale. There are some tiny spots which I didn't try to remove and don't know what they are on the tops ... moreof the headboard and the wardrobe. The wardrobe has a place for shelves. But they are missing. There are pink flowers on the doors of the wardrobe. The dowel for hanging doll clothes is intact. The metal bed frame has a few bends(see photos) The legs all seem to be sturdy and in good shape. I don't see a manufacturer printed or stamped anywhere on the set and don't know what year it was made. However because it has a bookcase headboard which was such a popular design in the 50's and 60's. I'm guessing that is when it was made. This little set has been in my collection for several years. But I no longer have room for all my things, due to our latest move. I did not notice any strange odors, although this set could use a light dusting. Vintage Sindy Bedroom - Bed, Dresser, Vanity, Accessories 1978 Doll Furniture
Offered here: Vintage 1978 Sindy bedroom furniture which fits all similar size dolls including Barbie. This auction includes: 1. Dresser with working drawers and stool which matches the blue bedspread. The flowers are included but I also found the original blue flowers and they are also included but not pictured. There is a very sweet yellow powder box with an S on it and a lotion bottle on the clean tray. 2. The bedside table has a built-in lamp which actually worked with a battery at one time and could possibly be made to work again. The original lightbulb is included and the lamp shade. 3. The wardrobe is also very detailed and offers lots of closet space with three working drawers and 4 hangers. The decorative trim on top and the mirror need to be glued. 4. Matching bedside breakfast tray has tiny dishes and original throw rug in white"shag" ... moreis also included. 5. Sindy's white bedroom slippers are hard in find but here they are-with some darkening at the glue but intact and glamorous all the same. 6. The bed has a comfy foam mattress with blue comforter and dust ruffle. The headboard has broken off and needs to be glued back on. An extra red and white bedspread and pillow are included. Please note that I have more Sindy items and they all have various spots of dark yellow/brown at glue sites which are almost always underneath and do not harm overall look. These very realistically detailed pieces were all made from plastic and are overall in good condition. You will note how many of the original accessories have been saved. I used a website featuring the Sindy Museum to learn which pieces belong where and I can see a mistake already. Everything is clean and from a nonsmoking environment but also shows age with the yellow spots and some soil/spots so please keep that in mind and check out all the pics and the other Sindy auctions. The bed includes a mattress and measures 5" long.3 3/4" wide and 3" high at the headboard. The dresser is missing a mirror, but has detailed legs and measures 4 7/8" high, 4 1/2" wide and 1 1/8" deep. The chair. With hand embroidered pillow, measures 3 1/4" high, 1 3/4" wide and 1 1/2" deep. The rocking chair, with hand embroidered pillow, is missing one rocker and measures approx. 2 7/8' high. 2 1/8" wide and 2 1/2" deep(including the rocker length) This is a great vintage set even with the two missing parts.
