Antique white chamber pot made in the late 1800's Very nice condition for its age! Bowl measures 8 1/2 inches in diameter and 5 1/4 inches tall Handle extends out another 2 inches and is approx. 4 inches tall Marked ROYAL IRONSTONE CHINA with the stamp of the lion. Crown and unicorn, with CHARLES MEAKIN ENGLAND under it. This printed mark was used on the earliest pottery made at the Burslem Works location. From 1870 to 1882. There are a few expected minor anomalies inherent with hand-made pottery. The inside is quite clean. Close inspection reveals very minor scratches on the bottom from use over 130 years ago. The glazing on the exterior is very nice There are no chips on the top edge. As shown in the photos. There is a very small crack at the top right side of the handle that appears to have been glued, possibly prior to glazing. This ... moreis not very obvious to the eye when on display, and in my opinion it is a minor visual issue. I have tried to be as complete as possible in my description. But I'm not an antique expert and have assessed this chamber pot based on the research I have done. Please look carefully at the photos. As they are part of the description. Your bid is for a one beautifully adorned Buffalo Pottery chamber pot with original lid. The pot is likely porcelain with a fully intact rose pattern on all sides and gold gilding along the base of the pot as well as around the upper outside rim. The lid is remarkably done with pink and white"frosting" and gold glitter sprinkled atop the white frosted leaves along the lid's edge. The piece measures about 9 inches wide by just over 9 inches tall at the top of the handle on the lid. If the piece was ever truly used as a chamber pot. It appears that it was used only rarely. East Palestine Pottery Revere Chamber Pot 1880-1904
The marking on the bottom of this Chamber Pot indicates it was produced by the East Palestine Pottery factory between 1880 and 1904(before they became the W. S. George Pottery Company) It measures roughly 9-3/4” in diameter by 5-1/4” tall. It is very nice displayable condition with only a few minor surface defects. I was ready to state no chips when I felt a very small(less than 1/8” nip on the ornate handle. It doesn't take away from the beauty of the piece but I wanted to mention its existence. There is a“crack” on the inside that looks like the letter“Y” I don’t know if it is just on the surface but it does not show on the outside of the piece. There is some light wear around the inside of the rim. Probably from a lid that once existed but is NOT included here. There are a few glazing imperfections on the inside bottom but I am certain ... morethat is found on most pieces. There are no other apparent crazing, chips or cracks. It has the E.P.P.Co. marking on the bottom also states"Marquette" Shows wear on the pink bands. WHITE CHAMBER POT or POTTY by Thompson Pottery 1868 -1920 aka CCTP Co.
This is an antique CHAMBER POT or POTTY from Thompson Pottery. There is an embossed design around the perimeter and it remains solid white. They made some ironstone but I don't know if this is ironstone or semi-granite. The diameter is 9 3/4" x 5 3/4" tall and the handle protrudes less than an inch from the rim. The blue mark on the underside dates it between 1886 and early 1920's. It is in very good condition with one tiny chip on the bottom rim of it's base and there is some crazing due to age. The C.C. Thompson Pottery. Named after Cassius C. Thompson, operated in East Liverpool, Ohio from 1868 until 1938. They changed their logo in the early 1920's and again in the 30's. Like many other potteries in the late 1800s, they produced Rockingham and yellowware and later semi-porcelain dinnerware. Anchor Pottery Ironstone China Chamber Pot, late 1800's
Ironstone China Chamber Pot made by Anchor Pottery in Trenton. NJ. I am selling this chamber pot and lid but please note that this is not a matching lid. This is the lid that came with it when I purchased it. This chamber pot is from the late 1800's and has the Anchor Pottery mark. The pot is 5 1/4" high and 9" wide across the top. I do not see any cracks or chips. There is what looks like a chip on the top lip. But there is glazing over it, so it was made that way. It is in excellent condition. It is marked"Ironstone China Warranted" with the Anchor Pottery mark. And I have enclosed a website at the bottom that describes that mark and the history. The lid has no pottery mark. It measures almost 9 1/2" wide. It is in very good condition. It has some pottery imperfections but I believe it was made that way. There ... moreis a 1" V-shaped light crack on the outer rim. Which I tried to show in the one picture. Even though the lid does not match, it does fit well on the pot. It is a very pretty lid. For your consideration today is a wonderful blue and white ironstone porcelain chamber pot with lid. This chamber pot was produced by the John Maddock& Sons Potteries. Staffordshire England. It is true vintage and in excellent condition overall with no chips or cracks- there is fine crazing all over but the shiny glaze on the pot and lid is still very nice. This chamber pot retains its original lid. The lid and single pot handle are enhanced by a leaf and vine motif molded into the ironstone porcelain. The blue bands on the lid and pot are surrounded by a fine line of goldtone highlights. This pot is approx 8 inches tall at the top of the lid knob. We are offering a 6" diameter and 3 1/4" tall child's chamber pot. Which is in excellent condition without chips, cracks, crazing, scratches, staining, or repairs. We aren't certain of the material it is made of. The pot is heavy with rather thick walls which leads us to believe it is pottery but there isn't any crazing and the glaze is extremely smooth- it could be porcelain. The flow blue does not have a pattern but it is quite beautiful, especially on the inside. The pot is spotless, shiny, and clean both on the inside and out. LATE 1800'S LARGE CHAMBER POT WITH COVERED LID- MADE BY ANCHOR POTTERY IN TRENTON. NJ This chamber pot is large and has a beautiful floral print on the front. Back and top lid. The bottom is marked with the'Anchor Pottery Logo- Trenton. NJ. I date this to the late 1800's. That is my guess. It is in good condition. There is hardly any crazing. The glaze and color is vibrant. There is a chip on the edge of the underside of the lid(see photo) This cannot be seen when the lid is on the chamber pot. What a lovely addition this would make to your decor. This is the real deal. It stands about 5 ½ inches tall. There is a thin gold trim around the rim and the foot. The center is trimmed with a pink band with gold on the top and bottom of the band· There is also gold trim on the elaborate handle· There are two small cracks shown in two separate photos. One is about 1 ¾ inches. The other is about 1 ½ inches. Both cracks extend down from the rim and are show both inside and outside the pot. There is lots of crazing· Based on the hallmark. This is a gorgeous. Early 1900's, flow blue chamber pot with a cobalt blue floral pattern on cream. Although commonly used through the mid 20th century, traditional use of the chamber pots disappeared with indoor plumbing. Today they are used for bed and bath decor or as storage for bathroom supplies, rolled towels, and even planter pots. This pot measures 8 5/8" in diameter(10 1/4" to handle) x 4 3/4" deep.
