Excellent condition. No chips. Cracks, or damage of any kind. I know this is a collectible medical device, but I also thought it would make a great planter! It measures 14" long edge to tip, and the diameter of the bedpan is about 10.5" It is 3" tall. Marked Boots the Chemists on the bottom. Approximate age is early 1900's. This is also an unusual design and shape for a bedpan/male urinal. Neat old item straight from England!

It has 2 small holes in the back for hanging that does not enter into the vessel portion, keeping the"area for use" water tight: Would make a great gift for a nurse. You could put ivy or silk plants in it and hang it on the wall as a planter. Beautifully crazed to show its age, but there is no maker's mark or identification to definitively know its heritage or age. Heavy, with its durability standing the test of time. It measures 17"x 10"x 5" at greatest dimensions.

It has great character and would be a great addition to your collection or to your victorian/antique decor. It is in good condition for it's age and years of use although it does have some minor scratches. 1 small 3mm chip on edge of handle, 1 1cm x 1/2cm chip on bottom edge of pot, and 1 crack from age on the inside bottom of the bowl 3.5cm long. These blemishes are not noticeable and do not take away from the charm of this piece. It measures approximately 9" wide not including the handle and 5 1/2" tall. The opening measures 6 3/4" across. Antique pottery pieces almost always come with manufacturing flaws. These are not“damages” Just imperfections that occurred in the making of the piece. Glaze pops. Stilt marks, crazing caused by quick temperature changes, pigment or glaze skips, grit specks under the glaze, clay cracks made during the firing process, firing separations, etc. are examples of the type of manufacturing imperfections that can occur. I have checked and can not find this pattern. On the last pic you can see the hair line crack that is in top. It does not go through, also ... morethere are two tiny flea bits to small to get a pic of. On the end of the handle it looks like it was not put on the pot good. I don't think it is a crack. Absolutely beautiful vintage handled chamber pot/ slop jar with lid. It is marked on the bottom" 5130" The colors and details are unique. It is trimmed in almost a fuschia color with a knight's helmet and crossed spears/ arrows on each side of the pot and with three of these emblems on the lid. There is also what looks like a navigational rosette around the base and lid. Inside. The rounded lip of the pot is circled with Greek key symbols. Here is a nice vintage handled chamber pot by Alfred Meakin. England. It is quite unusual to find a chamber pot in such good condition, but this one is in very good condition with no cracks or chips. It is also very solid and heavy. There are some signs that attest to its age, such as some discoloring near the base, a few pock marks on the inside and some slight marks on the ornamental pull. It measures approximately 8 1/2" tall(to the top of the pull) and is about 10 1/2" wide(from the handle to the end of the pot) It would look very nice in any bathroom.especially a vintage bathroom. Old ironstone embossed white lid only chamber slop pot bucket vintage antique
I have a lid only that was probably for a chamber or slop pot. White on white old embossed ironstone or china. 9" diameter. 1.75" high; 2.5" high to top of knob. Measuring on the outside of the rim at the bottom of the angle. The widest is about 8" diameter. Measuring inside of the raised rim is about 7" diameter. I find no chips. Cracks, chips or really any crazing. Some teeny inclusions and pocks normally seen in this old stoneware. I've tried to show the embossed pattern around the handle. Which is about 4.5" diameter. The outer edge of the lid has 4. Approximately 2" sections of scallops that have a curlicue of embossing at each end. Hard to photograph. This auction is for an antique chamber pot made by the Brown-Westhead. Moore Co in England. The company went by this name from 1862 to 1904. The bottom is stamped BWM&Co. Sylvia. Rd 100622. 17. There are no chips or cracks that I have found. The measurements are 9 3/8 inches diameter across the top, 11 inches rim to handle, 5 1/4 inches tall.
