These impressive and dramatic jars have a rooster or cock motif to the enamel decoration; the handles also have a bird theme. These have a striking color palette of black with shades of red, orange, and yellowish-tan with minor white areas. These have gilded metal areas. Each jar stands about 9 inches tall, with a maximum diameter of approximately 8 3/4 inches. Unpacked, the set weighs just under 8 1/2 pounds. These jars would be a fine addition to a collection of vintage Asian decorative arts. Identification These jars are Chinese. They are vintage. But the exact age is not known. They are unmarked. Condition The jars looks very good overall. With light wear. The underside of one lid has a minor, circular flaw, as made(as shown) The metal areas have minor finish wear and some tarnishing. The handles have small areas of minor darkening; there are some tiny holes in the handles that appear to be as made. Likely as made, there are a few minor pits/ flaws to the blue enamel inside the jars, just below the gilt rims(example shown) this only shows under close inspection when the lids are off. A tiny, scattered pit to the enamel, here or there, is as made. Beneath one jar, the blue enamel has some whitish streaks, as shown. These look great hung like decorative plates-especially in a bath: I do not know the pattern which has leaves. Flowers, ferns and berries. In good antique condition. No chips or visible crazing. So I went to a favorite antique mall that always has an awesome February sale. Picked up lots of antiques and unique items to list! I also continue to list new items from the farm estate auction, with lookouts more new hardware pieces over the next several weeks. I am also going to one of my favorite flea market shows this weekend, so wish me luck! There’s something for everyone! Ya gotta love antique ironstone- and this beauty comes with its hard to find lid. Too! What I have is a white ironstone chamber pot- marked on the bottom with the double lion crest, Royal Patent Ironstone, and Tomkinson Bro& Co. this English piece will accent your collection or decoration beautifully. The base of the ... morepot measures 10 3/8" wide handle to end, 8 7/8" diameter at the top, and stands 5 3/4" tall. With the lid on, it measures 8" tall to the top of the handle. The pot is in excellent structrual condition, with some minor damage from wear and age(and I'm afraid to say.use! There's a very thin and hard to see hairline crack that runs from the top down 3 1/2" You can see it from the inside too- although only 2" of it on the inside. I'm showing you the outside view in photo 9, and the inside view in photo 18. The pot shows crazing all over, and some darkening due to the crazing toward the bottom of the pot, and some light carmel colored spots on the side, but no other issues, chips or cracks on the body. Turn it over, and you can see a couple of teenie nicks on the very rim of the bottom where it sits on the table/floor- so it has to be upside down to see and they may be original- see photos 19-23. If you look at photos 12-15, you will see that the underside of the lid has two very small shallow chips(photo 13 has a third that is more of a small scrape) One is on the inside rim, it's 1/8" and it's the largest. White Antique Chamber Pot w/ Lid and Handle Perfect Condition!!!
This gorgeous antique white chamber pot has its lid and handle. The handle is metal with a wooden grip piece which is still fully intact although the paint on the wooden grip is a bit worn. There are no cracks or chips in the porcelain/ceramic(I am not sure which of the two it is made out of) The piece is in perfect condition. The charming embossed decoration on the pot and lid make this a beautiful find. This piece measures approximately 11 inches high and 10 inches in diameter, and is quite heavy, so I will be offering local pick-up only.

Large Antique Victorian Porcelain Chamber Pot With Handle & Lid
This large Victorian chamber pot is in good condition for its age. It has a wood and wire bail handle. It is quite heavy and is rare due to its size. It measures approximately 12" in height and 10" in diameter. You will note. In the pictures, that the pot and lid both have some paint splatters that can be easily removed. The lid likely wasn't used as much and is a little different shade than the pot; not really noticeable. There is some minor pitting, glaze discoloration spots and minimal glaze crazing. Especially for its age, which dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s. There are no chips or cracks or stains or crazing or repairs in the bowl or the lid. The glaze is clear and white is white. The Chamber Pot measures 6" tall without lid and 8" tall with lid attached. The pot is 8 1/2" in diameter. The pot is creamy white with decorative handle. The lid also has a decorative handle. This is a quite large old fashioned white enamelware chamber pot. This pot has an extending metal handle with a wood grip. The pot measures about 11" tall to the top of the lid and the handle extends up about 5" The pot is about 8.5" wide. This pot shows some age and has bits of rust on the interior bottom and around the edge of the lid but very little. I see no chips or flakes. This pot can be very useful for whatever task you assign it to or would just serve well as a display piece.

Both pieces have beautiful pink and green flowers and gold trim. The lid does have a chip that can't be seen while in place. The pot also has a small crack around rim. see pics) no chips but does have some minor stains throughout as well. The bowl shows some wear underneath with some crazing and fleabites. Antique pottery pieces almost always come with manufacturing flaws. These are not“damages” Just imperfections that occurred in the making of the piece. Glaze pops. Stilt marks, crazing caused by quick temperature changes, pigment or glaze skips, grit specks under the glaze, clay cracks made during the firing process, firing separations, etc. are examples of the type of manufacturing imperfections that can occur. I have checked and can not find this pattern. On the last pic you can see the hair line crack that is in top. Up for auction is an antique white ironstone lid recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It is decorated with black or red berries surrounded by shafts of wheat on the edges. The handle has a braided vine style to it. It is quite clean and found in very good used condition. The interior rims interior rim size is approximately 6" in size while the exterior ring is approximately 6 1/2" while the interior lid diameter is approximately 8 3/4" in size. It was made in England by Alfred Meakin as part of the Royal Ironstone Pottery line. It measures 7-1/4" tall including the lid and 10-1/2" across including the handle. It is 9-1/2" in diameter, not including the handle. It is in excellent antique condition, no cracks, chips or repairs. There is a bit of crazing at the top of the bowl. There is a smear in the blue transfer at the edge of the cover. There are some minor flea bite chips on the rim of the cover. Beautiful Antique Victorian Style Porcelain Tan W/Blue Chamber Pot W/Lid
Beautiful Antique Victorian Porcelain Chamber Pot with Beautiful Floral Detail. Tan With Blue-Smith Phillips. 6" tall x 9 across. This is a very old pot and has damage. Major crack along one side going all the way through. Big Chip on rim. Crazing and other minor problems. With all that said. You can see it displayed on my table with damage to the back. The crack is opposite of the handle and with lid on, covers the chip. This is an original chamber pot. I say tan but could have started as white. It is stained inside and out. Comes as is. I am proud to display it, Just no more room. The old pot has a lot of character. Despite the damage. Will be packed with great care! Far from perfect. But super Charming! Gorgeous! Check out my! This is a Very unique and rare Chamber pot AKA Night stand. I do not know a lot about this but it appears to be oak with Brass(greening) fixtures cherubs? shells. Flowers, many great details on the handles alone. It appears someone may have reinforced the back of the stand some time ago to make it more sturdy but Im not sure. I have never seen a piece like this and I love it in my family room but am still trying to clean house. ETRURIA MELLOR& CO CHAMBER POT W/MATCHING LID small chip under edge, not very noticeable. The pot sits inside the bottom where there is a hole cut out I assume so you could drain the pot outside. Its a BEAUTIFUL piece! Id love to know more, if you know anything please message me!
