Antique pottery pieces almost always come with manufacturing flaws. These are not“damages” Just imperfections that occurred in the making of the piece. Glaze pops. Stilt marks, crazing caused by quick temperature changes, pigment or glaze skips, grit specks under the glaze, clay cracks made during the firing process, firing separations, etc. are examples of the type of manufacturing imperfections that can occur. I have checked and can not find this pattern. On the last pic you can see the hair line crack that is in top. Antique Chamber Pot by George Jones & Sons England with Blue Trim and Pink Roses
This is a chamber pot that dates from 1873 to the early 1920's. The mark on the bottom says"Crescent 1st Quality& Sons England" There is also a hand painted number: 21836' that may be the pattern number. The mark on the bottom was used starting in 1873-1874 by George Jones& Sons in Staffordshire England. And used up until the early 1920's. This chamber pot can be described as having pink roses on an off white background with cobalt blue and gold trim. There is crazing. But no chips. There is a hairline crack on the inside lip of the pot that measure approximately 1.5 inches, but the crack does not go through to the outside of the pot. I have documented this in the photographs above. The pot measures 8 3/4 inches in diameter at the top. An Exceptionally Nice Antique Transferware Chamber Pot/ Slop Jar This piece was recently acquired from an estate in Upstate NY This 19th Century Transferware Piece was crafted by Minton in the Staffordshire district of London circa 1870's, The pattern is Minton's Genevese pattern which is a traditionally romantic scene of slightly Oriental styled buildings in a fantastical landscape with a lush border of florals and foliage. The body is ironstone, This comes with the jar. The scarce insert and the lid. The jar itself has knob handles on each side for the addition of a leather or fabric handle if desired. The knobs are also decorated. The insert fits securely in the top of the jar and is also decoratedon the top side as shown in photos. The lid has profuse decoration. The unit stands approximately 12 1/2" high. The pail is approximately ... more12" from handle to handle. In VERY GOOD condition with no damage or reapirs to either the lid or the insert. The pail has one chip at the base. Below the center image on one side(See photo) The pail has a light overall crazing evident on the exterior but not on the interior and no crazing at all on the insert or lid. Beautiful dark blue transfer on nice creamy white ironstone. It is marked on the base of the pail with the Minton Globe mark and the pattern name in a banner. The lid bears a small. Impressed MINTONS 13(or 18) mark on the underside. it is very difficult to read. It has a lovely dainty blue design on a white background. The sides have ribbing. This is a beautiful old chamber pot. There is a maker's mark on the underside. It is a triangular shaped mark with a large"R" in the middle. At the top of the triangle. There is a circle with IV inside. Up for auction is an antique porcelain transfer ware chamber pot or slop bucket with a cover or lid. This is a really nice piece with only a few areas that need mentioning. There is a bit of crazing at the top of the bowl. There is a smear in the blue transfer at the edge of the cover. There are some minor flea bite chips on the rim of the cover. All of these areas show clearly in the photos. So please look closely to make your own determination of the condition. This chamber pot is 9" in diameter and is 11" across to the handle. This is a beautiful chamber set consisting of a chamber pot and lid. A pitcher and bowl, and a toothbrush cup. This is an unusual set with a shape and design that is reminiscent of a Grecian urn. The pitcher is 12" tall and the bowl is 14 1/2"in diameter. The chamber pot is 6" tall and 9" in diameter. The cup is 5" tall. The set has beautiful embossing as well as the lovely blue printed design.

However, there are two marks like the top of an"M" This chamber pot is white with a rich, deep blue floral and a raised art nouveau design of swirls. It also has four rectangular panels of sprayed antique gold, along with sprayed gold on the outer edge and highlighting the raised design. This is truly a gorgeous chamber pot. It measures 10 1/8" in diameter and stands about 7" high. There is a brownish line about 1/4" long which looks like it took place in the making, but may be a stain. 3 Triumph" appears in blue letters on the bottom, as well as"31" and an"F. This is a gorgeous. Early 1900's, flow blue chamber pot with a cobalt blue floral pattern on cream. Although commonly used through the mid 20th century, traditional use of the chamber pots disappeared with indoor plumbing. Today they are used for bed and bath decor or as storage for bathroom supplies, rolled towels, and even planter pots. This pot measures 8 5/8" in diameter(10 1/4" to handle) x 4 3/4" deep.
