Up for auctions is this nice map of Shanghai. It was printed up for the Marine Corps. These maps were given to the Marines going to Shanghai China in the 1930's. This one is dated 1932. The scans of the maps are partials as I didn't want to have to fold this differently to get it to fit the scanner. The cover measures 3 3/14"x 6 3/4" The map folds out to measures approx. 20"x12 1/2. Up for sale is a Very Rare Navy YMCA Map Of Shanghai China By Shanghai Branch Navy Late 1920's. This is a booklet map that opens and the map folds out to a size of 19" across by 12 1/2" tall. The map contains 77 points of interest. The back of the map has advertising and general information of Street Car Routes. Omnibus Routes, Postal Rates, Church Services, and other information for new servicemen to Shanghai. The cover is detached from the booklet and there is discoloring on the front and back cover. The map is in really good condition with no rips or tears on it. The booklet all closed up measures 3 3/4" across by 6 7/16" tall. I have taken close pictures to show all of this map but if more pictures are needed please let me know and I will send them.
