I found this great book at a local estate sale! The family brought it with them to Utah. It is large format- about 12" by 16" With about 85 pages. It shows all the sections of the county, a map of Nebraska, and a section for Farmers showing the various animals raised on farms- how to maintain their heath, etc. Good condition. Sold as is. Nebraska. Large format hardcover book with cloth covered boards. Colored lithograph maps and some photographs inside. This has maps of the townships of the county as well as a state and country map. There are two 1940 Census Forms folded inside the back cover. CONDITION- Vintage. Used. The cover boards have considerable wear, soil, tears at bottom and top of the spine. Inside the boards there is some separation from the body of pages, but they are still attached. There is pencil scribbling inside the front cover. Antique 1919 Adams County Nebraska Atlas Plat Farm Map Book Directory
For sale is an antique atlas of Adams County. Nebraska from 1919. Published by The Anderson Publishing Co. Mason City, Iowa. It contains maps of the Townships of the County, State of Nebraska, the World and U.S. Survey map. The maps are still very colorful and writing is bold. Pages do have discoloration/stains and wear around edges. Some pages have tears. The first few pages are attached to spine and front cover and most of the rest of the pages are loose from spine, but stapled together. The last few pages are loose. I am trying to show the worst pages in pictures. There are a few pencil/pen marks throughout the book. Some of the pages have a water stain mark on them- see pictures. I will try to describe some of the worst pages: Adams Co(and some of following pages) Top left corner looks like something has"chewed" on it. Verona- ... moredirty and small tear middle on bottom of page. Wanda- a couple of tears. One is toward bottom left and up into the map and other is toward bottom right corner. Juniata- dirty and small tear on bottom. Denver- tear along left side. Silver Lake- bottom right corner torn off. I do have a picture of the piece that is missing from another atlas that I had. I did not add these pictures to this listing as I ran out of picture space. But could email this to you. There are two sheets missing: these include the Index of all the chief towns and cities of over 2,000 The United States and the map of the United States. The last 5 sheets are loose with tears/folds(see pictures) These include The Panama Canal, Map of the World, Pictures and distances saved by the Panama Canal, System of US Government Land Surveys, Map of the United States There are other pages that do have small tears and dirt/smudge marks but I have tried to show/describe the worst ones.
