Premium Antique Ribbon Barn Door Track and Rollers
I am selling some PREMIUM antique ribbon barn door track and rollers. This track has NEVER been out in the weather. It was inside an old lumber yard. Not many chances to get track and rollers this old that have NEVER seen a drop of rain or a flake of snow. Just because of the age. It has what I would call, light rust on it. You can still see some of the original paint on it. Turn the rollers over and the ORIGINAL red paint is quite visible. No flaking rust, no real need to refinish, outside of some dust, this track could be hung today and you could enjoy the natural patina that comes with 100 years. All the rollers work freely. As a bonus. I also have the original square cut nails that were used to hang the track. I don't have a nail for every hole since there was not a nail in every hole and I did break some taking it down but I can ... moreprovide some original nails. This sale if for one ten foot section of track and 2 Safety Door Hanger Co. rollers plus some cut nails. Pick up here in central Indiana would be preferable but I can ship. I also have some six foot track. If you choose the six foot track. I can box and ship that with no problem. For the ten foot track, I would have to either cut the track in two or down to eight feet to avoid a large shipping bill. I am adding a $15 handling fee to make the transport box. The patent dates are around 1901 and from my knowledge of the old lumber yard. That section they were in was built between 1900 and 1915. So they are close to 100 years old or older. The photos are of the rollers but for the track. It is indicative of the pieces I have but not necessarily the exact piece in this auction.

A pair of louden"bird proof" adjustable tandem wheel[2" barn door rollers that have no chips or cracks and the wheels turn freely[like new] They are in excellent working condition. I only have the 2 lower bolts and square nuts to go with this set[to connect the hanger part to the wood door] The 72" track pc has a connected 73 1/2" cover pc that reads LOUDEN in 2" lettering and it is good and straight and it is in very good condition. It does have the original"bird keeper outer pc" bolted in the right hand end. This is the matching set to the set that we sold 2 weeks ago. These have a patent date of June 11th 1912 on the cast iron hanger part. I would have to say that these type rollers and track were the"Cadilac set of the day" rollers. Being that they were very well made plus they were protected ... morefrom the rains. Door is oak, and 66 inches wide and 70 inches tall, with the rollers its 75 inches altogether tall. This is the rage today, this would look great in your home. You are bidding on a wonderful lot of 4 ANTIQUE CAST IRON BARN DOOR ROLLERS. These are very HEAVY DUTY rollers and they work great. They are meant to ride of flat stock steel rail. They measure 11" long and 7" tall and the wheel is 1/2" thick. They are designed to screw in to the top of the door and the door is suspended from the roller. Antique Louden Machy Co. barn door rollers with 8' pc of matching track
A pair of louden machy barn door rollers that have no chips or cracks and the 3 1/8" wheels turn freely. They are in good working condition. It would be best if this set was used for a inside door because the bearings are somewhat worn. The door straps are for a door 1 3/4" thick. The 8' track pc is good and straight with all of the original wall brackets there and well attached. A matching pair of Louden Roll Easy barn door rollers that have no chips or cracks and the 3 1/4" wheels turn freely. They are in very good working condition. I did have to change out the bearings on both of these and I used an industrial adhesive to reset the axel pin. So I would recommend these to be used on a small to medium sized interior door. The 6 1/2' and the 3 1/2' track pc are good and straight with all of the original wall brackets there and well connected, they were cut from the same 10' pc for economical shipping. A pair of FE Myers door rollers that have no chips or cracks and the 3 1/4" wheels turn freely. These rollers are in good working condition. They come with 4 good working bolts and square nuts. The 8' 8" track pc is good and straight with all the original wall brackets there and well connected. It comes with 18 square headed lag bolts or screws. These rollers were off a RR depot"highdock" It was a small offloading building for a train and its floor was around the same height as the floor of a boxcar so they could unload the boxcars easier. These rollers had so many coats of red paint on them that the lettering was hardly readable. So I stripped off most of the paint and carefully cleaned them up. A pair of antique myers stayon adjustable[pat May 28 01] tandem wheel door rollers that have no chips or cracks and the 2 5/8" wheels turn freely. On one wheel on the front side of it one can see in the picture that it has a tiny"pc or fleck missing" I think that this was done in the original casting process. And the roller worked just fine for many a year like that and I see it to be no problem. These rollers are in very good working condition. All of the adjustment screws and nuts can be turned with ones fingers. They come with 6 good working bolts and square nuts to connect the"hanger plates" to the door. The track pc is 6' by 1 1/4" by 3/16" and it is good and straight with all of the wall brackets there and well connected. It was sandblasted and painted. The rollers were stripped and cleaned and ... morecarefully handpainted to give them an unique look. These rollers were off an old"grainery" and someone must have oiled the wheel bearing now and then to keep them in this kind of condition. A pair of old retired barn door rollers that are non-working but they still have a lot of good old stories to tell. I have them wired to an old oats bin door that was part of the 3rd level floor out of an older"bank barn" Which would be a larger barn with a built up dirt and gravel ramp for the horses to go up to get to the second level. The casting on one has a crack where the strap goes through on the 1st louden machy co roller. The second"chipped" roller is sure grip[which I think is. Or soon became myers] The small door measures 18" by 16" tall and it is made out of white pine. The louden roller was off the same barn as was the"valentines day" set of rollers. Here is a very nice pair of vintage barn door rollers. Believe these were made by Louden. They were found in a barn and appear to have never been mounted. No markings around the screw holes. Some wear from being moves around the barn all these years. They measure 9 1/2 inches from top of roller to the bottom. 7 1/2 inches wide. Rollers are 2 3/4 inches in diameter. They roll very smooth. 3 Foot Antique Oak and Pine Horse Stall Barn Door with Rollers. Track and all Hardware Needed to Install and Hang. This great door was salvaged from an 1890s Missouri homestead and stables. Multiple horse stall doors are available from this salvage so please check the other many door SIZES and STYLES listed in our store. This door comes with its original old hardware. Original rollers and 6ft of original track with track hangers(see pictures) The rollers and track are in perfect operable condition and will function/roll as expected once reassembled. Since this door is 3ft wide, then 6ft of track allows for the appropriate amount of door travel to open and close. These vintage doors have everything you need to hang and immediately begin enjoying. capturing a time long ago. The wood is in great condition and has only the patina and flaws expected ... morefrom a full functioning horse stable door. The door(s) have not been cleaned whatsoever. Therefore barn dust, dirt and cobwebs are seen in the pictures. Will gladly hose down for buyer if requested. The track and hardware show a great patina with only mild surface rust. Someone attempted to begin painting the front side of this door with a pale yellow paint(see pictures) but didn't get very far. The door otherwise has its original, unfinished pine board patina. You will also see that the door front has a light discoloration near the bottom half. but this is only a light coat of dirt that can be easily cleaned with a waterhose. Dimensions: Size of Wooden Door: 36 inches wide. 75 inches tall, 1 3/4 inches thick, Size of Door Including Rollers: Door is 78 inches tall when adding height of rollers. A matching pair of louden roll easy barn door rollers that have no chips or cracks and the 3 1/4" wheels turn freely. These rollers were just removed from an Amish farmers barn door just last week. And the door did roll nice and smooth when I moved it[ trying it out] The wheels do have a good amount of"play" to them but they still have a good amount of"use" left in them. This sale is for a pair of antique barn door rollers and a pair of long track. The two rollers are in good working condition. I tested them and they roll very well. Has many old colors of paint on them. But i polished one side and it looks great and will clean up nicely. The track is in good condition for it's age and very usable. It will also clean up nicely. These are 2 antique barn door rollers which measure approx. 15-1/2" and the wheel measures 5-7/8" wide. They are marked MEDINA# 6 MFG. Co. Medina N.Y. The rollers both have surface rust but are solid. They have a little different wheels on them. They have a little different pattern and the one wheel is a little thicker but they have the same diameter and the groove appears to be the same thickness. Pair of Antique Barn Door Rollers Hanging Hardware Rusty Old Vintage 1
Here we have a pair of antique barn door rollers. They are very old and rusty. And are being sold as is. The bolts are stuck on to the screws and can't be removed due to the rust. Each piece has 2 wheels which have 2.75" diameters, and they can still move but not as well as if they were new. The hinges also can still move but not as smoothly as if they were new. One of the 2 still has a lot of the original white paint on the front, while the other one has chipped off a lot. The whole piece is 9" tall, 7.25" wide from wheel to wheel, and 4.5" wide on the main piece. This is a very cool antique which would be a great addition to any collection. The images are actual photos of the Rollers. The Rollers are from the F.E. Myers& Bro Ashland O. and are painted silver with red lettering. They are marked with the number 1464 and STAYON OK. I would estimate 80 to 85 percent of the original paint still exists. There is some rust but and one of the hanger brackets has more than the other. It was on the top of the box. The rollers roll freely. The bolts to attach the brackets to the door are missing. The box looks to be original to the pair. There is some damage along the edges but very nice color and graphics. In nice vintage solid condition- they measure approx. 10 1/4" high X 5 3/4" wide& are made for heavy doors- the rollers spin freely& come with the bolts& nuts attached, just the way I acquired them- marked"BIG 4" NATIONAL MFG. A set of 4 matching Louden Roll Easy brand barn door rollers that have no chips or cracks and the 3 1/4" wheels turn freely. All of these rollers are in good working condition. Some of the bearings were seized up. But I did some careful work to them to get them all working good. I did have to fix some"flat" spots on the wheels of the two rollers on the right hand side of the pictures. In our 5th picture it shows a close up of the two wheels that I worked on. I used an industrial adhesive and filler to fix the spots. Just looking it is very hard to see that they were even worked on. I would say that the worked on rollers should be used on small to medium sized interior doors[ up to 150 lbs] I have fixed 10 rollers with this adhesive and filler with no problems. I would warranty these" fixed" rollers for a year. The ... moredoor hanger straps are for a door 1 3/4" thick and the 8 bolts and square nuts work good. The 8' pc and 10' pc of louden brand track are both good and straight with all of the original wall brackets there and well connected. The wall brackets would hold the rail out 1 1/2" from the wall. THE TEN FOOT PC WOULD HAVE TO GET CUT FOR SHIPPING. I will not ship a 10' pc because it is too expensive. I can ship a nine foot pc if someone wants that. For your consideration: A 72" pc of 1 1/4" by 3/16" Original Solid Cast Iron Barn Door Track that has been stripped and re-painted with flat black lead free paint. It has all of the original wall brackets there and they are well connected. The wall brackets hold the Rail out 1-1/2" from the wall. Antique/Vintage Big 4 National Mfg. Co. Barn Door Rollers & 8' of C.I. Track
For sale we have a beautiful antique pair of"BIG 4" barn door Rollers and track. The track measures 8 feet in length. Track is straight and solid cast Iron. Rollers pivot and pulley wheels turn perfectly. Nice rust patina throughout. Track had been painted light grey at one time when they re-painted the Barn. Pulley's have three different colors showing Red. Black and the Green/Grey. This is the real thing not a modern reproduction! This was salvaged from a century old barn in Northeast Wisconsin. Elkhart Lake Area. Perfect for any restoration. I have extra track sold in multiples of 3 feet that i will make the desired puzzle knotch for strength on whichever end needed. They're showing signs of wear with some surface rust/discoloration/dings and could use cleaned up but both of the rollers move freely I've taken many pictures so please be sure to check them out. Antique Barn Door Hardware Including Two 8' Tracks& 2 Door Hangers With Rollers AUTHENTIC. NOT REPRODUCTION! This complete roller barn door set works like the day it was made! The two rollers are mounted on substantial door mounts(see photos) Two eight foot roller bars are included. These bars are designed to be mounted to allow a continuous sixteen foot roller track(see photo) because one roller track has a curved indent into which the other tracks curved nub fits perfectly. The original 8 square end door attachment nuts/bolts are included also. This is not a rescued piece of debris. This setup is functioning perfectly, and was only removed to allow a simpler, more"old guy" friendly setup to be installed because I am getting on in years and cannot push the door weight anymore. I am a stickler for tradition so I was reluctant ... moreto opt for swinging doors, but I can't see this ANTIQUE SYSTEM go to scrap. This ANTIQUE setup deserves to be re-installed by someone who can appreciate the CLASSIC WORKMANSHIP and display it in such a way as to showcase it's ageless design& function.
