Vintage mid-century walnut hutch w/matching buffet
This furniture is located in Felton. Delaware and must be picked up there. Vintage mid-century walnut two-piece hutch with matching serving buffet. I believe this is called Danish modern, not sure of exact age but these were in my parent's house since the early 1960's. I can't find any manufacturer names but it is marked Walnut on the back, probably walnut veneer. Both pieces have wicker/rattan like inserts. The hutch stands approx. 74 inches high, is 60 inches wide and 18 inches deep. The cart is 41 inches long with the end leaves folded and 66 inches long with the leaves extended. The hutch is missing the glass in one door but it is flat glass, an easy replacement. Buffet has some wear, a few scratches and a couple of chips on the top, missing one door pull. My photography skills do not do this piece any justice. Beautiful walnut buffet with floating hutch which is removable by 4 small screws. Can be used w/o hutch if desired. 2 side cabinets and 3 large drawers all operable. Glass on hutch is intact, not chipped and original to the piece. The buffet measures 80" wide, 18" deep and 26.5" in height. Total height with hutch is 68.5" The chip on the right side measures 1/2"x 3.5" and could be repaired with some wood glue. ANTIQUE DINING SET WALNUT BRICKWEDE BROTHERS These two pieces item were originally purchased in 1941 in Cranford. New Jersey with one owner for many decades. China Hutch/Cabinet Sideboard The China Cabinet is a solid piece with a clear glass panel that highlights fine china and glassware remarkably. Overall height is 74 inches; width is 40 inches; depth is 17 inches. The China Hutch top portion has a single 9 pane glass and wood opening center door with two three paned glass fixed side panels. The Drawer and Storage area has a sliding drawer and two burled walnut doors. All drawer and cabinet hardware is original brass. Inside the Storage Area is an additional full width shelf that is 10 inches deep measured from its back wall. An oval Brickwede brass tag can be found in the top drawer of the China Cabinet which possibly dates this furniture ... moreback to the early 1940's(see Brickwede Bros. notes below or google if unsure. The Sideboard Cabinet is matching and dated with inspection tag from October 1941. Overall measurements are 54 inches long x 17 inches wide x 36 inches high with a front that swerves out as shown in picture. Gilded bronze hardware, great sense of taste and proportions- a real masterpiece. When we found it the bibliotheque was used as a buffet and for this transformation ... morea mirror was added to the back of the top section and the wooden shelves were replaced with two glass shelves. I am selling it as found. With one key, two glass shelves for the top section which are not original to this item, and one wooden shelf for the bottom section. However, if you want you can order an extra key for $50 and we can make wooden shelves for you if you do not want glass, which will cost $200 each. Shelves will look antique and if you do not know that they are newly made you would never believe so) For shipping purposes it will be taken apart but is easy to put together. English Burl Walnut Buffet
English Burl Walnut veneered buffet. There are three paneled doors. With the outside of the center door having an inset mirror and applied carved molding. Buffet is 56" wide x 18" deep x 36" high. I consider this buffet to be in good condition; however, a small amount of veneer is missing around the base, and the back panel has several gaps where the wood panel has dried out over the years.

Broyhill Premier Series Buffet Very nice Broyhill Premier Series Buffet. This buffet has a nice finish and the doors and drawers work well. It is very sturdy. It has a ding on the top left that has been repaired. There three noticeable scratches on the top that I show in the photos. There is also a scratch on the front top ridge you will see in the photos. Otherwise light wear around the bottom of legs and inconspicuous wear to be expected with its age. The buffet looks great and from two feet the only damage that draws the eye is the scratch in front. Secondly the damaged area on the top left if you are looking it over. The scratches need inspection to notice, they blend in well. 52 1/2" wide or long. 19" deep. 31" tall. RARE Vintage Heywood Wakefield Buffet WALNUT FINISH
This is a rare pre 50's Heywood Wakefield Buffet. Very few of these were made in this special finish(see pic#1 and 5) These were created for a large Michigan based retailer as a private label item. Most often these are found in the clear birch finish or the more light brown"wheat" finish(pictures 2 thru 4) This was obtained from an estate sale in Michigan about 10 years ago and has mostly been in storage. It is a great. Heavy and strongly built piece of furniture! There is one slight scuff on the left side of the top, which looks like a slight"steam" burn. Otherwise this piece is in incredible condition for it's vintage status and rarity! Local pickup requires two men and a truck. I can arrange a local delivery(within Chicago area) for an additional $125.00(paid to delivery men)
