It has a shapely detail carved backsplash, rolled front shelf, large side wings holding up the top shelf, curved front triple drawer dove tail, double curved glass door, and cabriole pad foot legs. The mirror was very worn, so we replaced it with a new mirror. The finish is very nice. Someone had put a plant pot on it and you can notice it when in the right lighting. It has original handles and key hole covers. It had felt lining in the drawers that was removed, the second drawer has some ink staining inside and the drawer interior is bird’s eye maple.

This buffet sideboards measures 48" W x 38" H x 21" D- the backsplash adds another 12 1/2" H to the back of the buffet. This piece is in pretty good condition for its age. But does have some cracking/chipping in a couple of spots- particularly one door is cracked. There is also a wet ring stain(see picture) presumably from someone putting a glass down on the wood. There is a short top shelf above the backsplash mirror. The mirror appears to be original and it does have some slight fogging and freckling. The backsplash mirror is beveled and flanked by“S” corbels supporting the upper shelf. The base has 4 drawers and 2 doors all with wood knob pulls. The two top drawers are bow front. The drawer on the left is lined with faded green velvet and divided into 3 sections. The drawers all have dovetail construction and glide in and out easily. The doors hide open storage. Casters sit beneath the large curved Empire style feet on all 4 legs. This piece does have some nicks and scuffs from the years however it is in overall great condition. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. This piece is antique and will not be perfect. This buffet measures 55 1/8 inches tall. 61 ¾ inches side to side and 25 3/8 inches front to back. It's tiger oak exterior is sooo beautiful. They just dont make furniture like they used to. This buffet(or sideboard) has extraordinary detail. Yet at the same time is simple and elegant. A straight cut top blends into the rolled front silverware and napkin drawers, curved front linen drawer, and bottom doors that conceal your finest china. The beautifully rolled legs go all the way down the sides for a majestic appearance. Brass knobs match brass key holes on all three drawers that lock away your special things for just the right occasion. One key fits all three drawers and it IS included. That's right, we DO have the original Eagle Lock Co. key! The silverware drawer ... moreis divided into three sections and is lined with the original green velvet. The napkin and linen drawers are not lined. The linen drawers offers tons of space so you can be sure all of your treasured tablecloths will fit. Two doors open on the bottom to reveal a large storage space that is more than adequate for your finest china. On the sides of the buffet you will find more gorgeous Tiger Oak and straight back legs that go from the top to the bottom of the buffet for a strong support. The back is finished with standard plywood and is original to the piece. Originally there was a top for the buffet but I do not have that piece, and to be quite honest I think the piece works much better with today's decor without the top. As you can see in the photos, the finish overall is nice, but it does have some nicks and chips in a few places, as can be expected with a piece that is almost 200 years old. It was refinished at some point. The discoloration on the sides is far less noticeable than it appears in the photos. Structurally, the buffet is in great shape, very strong. MAKE AN OFFER! VERY RARE TIGER OAK LEADED GLASS FRONT SIDEBOARD. QUATER SAWN OAK. LEADED GLASS WORK IS ALL IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH NO BROKEN GLASS! This is read to take home and use. From a Smoke Free Home. 52" wide 22 1/2" deep and 70" high. This has Ball and Claw feet in front and back. This piece has less than normal ware for it's age. Best to come and see it in person first! Both mirrors are original and in excellent antique condition. Doors work smoothly. All original hardware in excellent condition. Leaded glass panels are mounted with original cord on the curved edges. Original purple velvet lined top side drawers. Last photo shows small veneer area that has chipped way on both top sides. it is not very noticeable but want you to know. Over all this piece is AWESOME and will make a statement in any room. Truly remarkable large antique cabinet. Solid oak. Very heavy. Shelves are 3/4 inch thick. Mirrors are beveled glass and leaded glass is in doors. Large center mirror may have had mercury stripped off the back of it and a newer mirror put behind it, but beveled glass is still there. Some imperfections in mirrors and wood, due to usage and a few cracks in glass. See photos) This beautiful cabinet separates above the drawers, so it's movable in two pieces. Please arrange for pick up after payment clears. No shipping available. Dimensions are: 7' 1 1/2" high, 63" wide, 18 ¼" deep. Lots of storage space inside!
