Offering up this fantastic antique sterling or coin silver Brandy Ladle for bids here. Not sure of the maker or the exact age of this as it is not marked. However. It is Definately Old, and Guaranteed to be silver. It is typical of brandy ladles of the Georgian period. The craftsmanship is Outstanding. Measures 5.75" long. Bowl area measures 3- 1/8" wide x 2- 1/8" x 1" deep. Features a Wonderful Bird on a Stump Armorial mark as shown. Unfortunately, it is missing the rest of the handle. It would have likely been made of wood, and about 4" 6" long. A new handle could Absolutely be made and reattached. Other than that, it has just minor dings and scratches. Great addition to Any antique silver collection.

I cannot detect a maker on it either on the inside of the drawer or on the back of the piece. It measures 43" wide. It has beautiful inlaid designs on it and the most curious side display. On either side there is an Egyptian style head and then if you look at the bottom there are his feet. Both head and feet are highly detailed and made of brass. Piece does show some wear. It comes with it's original skeleton key but the door that is supposed to stay stationary(I think it should click into place on the bottom) Does not. I love the special design elements such as the asymmetrical top and the Art Nouveau influences in the carvings of tulips and leaves. The spiral tops remind me a bit of Gaudi. As they are quite whimsical. It is rather large, measuring approx. 76" h x 42" w x 21 1/2" d. I believe the glass has been replaced, but this is how I purchased the item. Please note the legs' feet would need a bit of touch-up. I believe the wood is oak but not 100% sure. Please use your judgment when evaluating wood's kind. Measurements are all approximate within the inch: The console is wider at the bottom(by the floor) than at the top. Note that the legs spread out just a tad and the ball's legs at the bottom would need a bit of touch up. The top measures 89" long by 20" wide. At the bottom is about 22" wide by 91" long. The back of this server bears the hallmark of J K& Z with a fish underneath. Beside the makers hallmark is a Passant Lion facing right with a faint but still readable 2 underneath, Minerva's head and a V next to that indicating this was made in 1855. The 2 underneath the lion indicates this is.833 silver. It measures 6 inches long by 2 1/2 inches wide. It has a beautiful pierced and engraved flowing design to it. I found this piece in a box that originally held another silver piece from William Gale and Son. It's not a perfect fit, but as I found the two pieces together, I'm selling them as a set. Here is an exquisite. Massive, Antique 19th cent. American(probably Horner) quarter sawn oak sideboard buffet server. Straight out of a Long Island estate. Was in the same family for 70 years. This piece was made around 1880 and represents carved oak at its best. Incredibly carved with lions' heads. Paws, ribbons, and scrolls. Doors are all carved scrolls with center cartouche. They are separated by 2 columns of carved ribbons and fruit. The drawers above have handles of lions' faces. The top is crowned with an incredible lion head. The only condition issues are a small ring stain and a darker area on the top front right. Also a thin slit in the wood appx 18 inch long. These are very minor and can easily be fixed. The dark areas can be bleached and the slit can be filled. They do not detract from the overall excellent condition or ... morelook of the piece. Lots of storage space. We believe this piece is German or Austro-Hungarian. The large mother of pearl handle is skillfully carved into a lovely shell design. The silver bottom of the handle has the same decoration. The ornate base is engraved with a mans bust and a banner underneath that reads Joh. Ronge. This man is obviously a priest or minister. The engraving is deep and textured. Giving the piece a wonderful contrasting look. The back of the handle has a very old, original pin-prick monogram of a name and the date 1850. I don't see any numbers to show that this is sterling so I'm calling it silver plated. This comes out of an estate located in Harrisburg. PA. The front is signed with what looks like D N Hine Premium Farm of 100 acres 1881. There are no branding or hallmarks found but the bottom of the tilt coffee is stamped with 403 and something else that I can't make out. Overall size is a total of 18" tall. The ice pitcher server rotates forward and back. As you can tell- there is a ton of detail on this highly decorated piece. The top features what looks like a cherub holding a bottle of ... morewine and a cup. The body of the coffee pot is decorated with a bird motif which is carried throughout the entire piece. The spout looks like a bird's mouth and the base of both pieces have birds as well. I believe they could be some sort of cranes. OK. It's time to be brutally honest. I have absolutely no idea what this piece is. I think it might be a coffee pot. Here's the scenario: The cook is downstairs and brews up a huge caldron of coffee. Then he pours a cup(or however much fits) into this silver plated individual coffee server. The butler brings it into the master's chambers. Mr Bigshot pours the coffee into his cup. End of story. Of course I could be completely wrong. But it was an interesting theory. Wasn't it? It's 7" tall and probably holds a cup of liquid. Offered for sale is a Beautiful French Cherry Antique Server/Buffet/Sideboard. This sideboard features beautifully hand-carved details. Four dove-tailed drawers and four doors each with 2 adjustable shelves and scroll feet. The hardware is solid brass and the cherry grain is gorgeous. The drawers include mahogany and ash wood. This sideboard measures 41" high x 87 1/2" wide x 21" deep. The cabinet has locks, but we do not have the key. The sideboard is in excellent overall condition with light scratches on the top surface(see pics#5, 6) It appears a prior owner sanded the top very smooth but did not refinish the top with varnish. The back of the sideboard does not have any manufacturer's signature. This is a very old Joseph Mappin of Mappin and Webb SILVERPLATE FISH SERVER made in Sheffield. England I found the mark on silvercollectionit. pre-1902 and the company was founded in 1810 in Sheffield. England. The silverplate is in very good condition. It measures 12" long and the bowl is 3" at the widest. Lovely fish center in the bowl. Hallmarked on the back of the handle J. Fleur de lis, M, star for Joseph Mappin.
