It has a great crest on it. The overall size is 54 inches wide, 21 inches deep, 39 inches high to the marble and 96 inches high to the top. There are some specks of white paint on one side where someone must have splattered paint when painting a wall that I am sure would clean up. Antique FRENCH COUNTRY Buffet CABINET SIDEBOARD Carved Gorgeous Marble Top
Wonderful antique buffet sideboard. This is a true quality item! Superbly made and exceptionally heavy! Measures 72 inches across. Depth 23 inches across front marble. Mirror top to marble base. 26 inches. 46 inches from floor to marble base. Interior side shelves measure 17 inches long and 7 1/2 inches wide. 2 side doors swing out to the side. Main body interior is 16 inches deep by 48 inches long by 30 inches tall. 2 front drawers with two side drawers. Swing out to the side as shown! Solid oak everywhere! Even the drawer linings. Draw sides and back are all oak and not an inferior wood. The interior is all oak. The doors lock but I have lost the key! Currently all the doors are unlocked! Inside at the back somebody cut a hole out. Not sure why that was done but it is there! The only newish part is an interior shelf which is in the main ... morebody. I believe it is still solid oak but it lacks the patina of the original. The glass is not damaged anywhere. The marble has exquisite shading and color. With pink, grey and purple variations. It has light scratches on the top and minor tiny chips on the edge as expected for a piece this age. It is not broken anywhere! The carvings are so wonderful with urns. Horns, ribbons, roses, tassels, swags and leaves. Both front panels have cracks on the decoration as seen in the photographs. Very reluctantly for sale! Local pick up preferred but we will work with your shipper or we can get you a quote from a company we use. Coast to coast is probably around $400 to $500 dollars. Non smoking home. The buffet has 3 paneled doors and 2 dovetail drawers all have locks and a key. We have 3 keys to this piece. The keyhole plate is missing from the front of the right side lower door. This piece is very elegant. The corners of the hutch and server are reeded and carved with flowers that match the crown. The front feet are reeded bulb style. We purchased this piece from a couple that bought it in Holland and had it shipped to the US for their home. Beautiful 19th century marble top commode or sideboard. White marble overhanging top rests on a two-door mahogany cabinet with one large top drawer. Gorgeous flame mahogany veneers. Arched paneled doors and ogee feet give the piece an appearance of neo-classical or rennaisance revival style. Over all this piece is in good condition. However there is a repair to the cabinet doors. See close-up pictures. Also. The drawer knobs are missing. Some discoloration and scratching to the marble top. There are holes in the back of the marble, probably for a back splash that is now missing. Otherwise only light wear consistent with age. The entire piece stands 29" tall. Being presented for sale is this Superb Victorian Walnut& Burl walnut Brown Marble Top Mirrored back Sideboard/ Buffet with carved Lion heads circa 1880. This 19th century piece is just gorgeous and would surely be a beautiful focal point in your home. This is a impressive sideboard with gorgeous spoon carvings. Finials, carved Lion heads,burl walnut panel accents and a fancy carved scroll and shell gallery as well as the original beautiful brown marble top and the original brass hardware and early dove-tailed ends on the drawers. This sideboard/ buffet measures a total height of 82 1/2 inches( 6 ft 10 1/2 in) to the top of the carvings on the very top center. Height from the floor to the top of the brown marble measures 36 1/2 inches,with a total width of 48 1/4 inches and a depth at the base of 21 1/2 inches and this pieces weighs approximately ... more250 lbs. This sideboard does dis-assemble into 4 pieces for easier handling during shipping and moving. The fine display shelf above the marble measures 26 inches in height above the marble top and the shelf measures 43 inches wide by 11 inches deep.The larger mirror measures 19 inches high by 33 inches wide, and the three mirrors at the top each measure 10 inches wide by 6 inches high. This is a fabulous piece in wonderful antique condition and the original brown marble top is also just beautiful with no apologies we can find. All the locks are intact but the key provided just aids in opening the cabinet doors and does not work the locks. There is a small piece of carving missing on the left side of the pediment inside of one of the scrolls. I have shown a close-up of in the pictures and appears to have been missing for a long time.nothing major in my opinion and definitely doesn't distract from the beauty of this gorgeous 19th century piece. This Server is sitting in the back room of my shop, and I just didn't have the room to focus for a picture. The glare is terrible in some of the pics. And the blue showing in the mirror is from a tarp thats hanging in the building. I had the server redone as far as replacing the marble top. And all the drawer pulls. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN RENAISSANCE CARVED MAHOGANY MARBLE TOP SIDEBOARD w/ MIRROR
ANTIQUE 1870's VICTORIAN RENAISSANCE CARVED MAHOGANY MARBLE TOP SIDEBOARD w/ MIRROR The base is mahogany veneers with solid mahogany carvings. The upper piece above the marble is solid mahogany. There are areas of missing and damaged veneer on the base. The drawer pulls are not original. And the drawer locks have been removed. One of the pads(back left) the base rests on is missing. The spindle detail on the left side of the base under the marble is missing. There is some silver loss to the mirrors. The marble has some staining and a few scratches that don't detract from the piece. The dimensions are 46" wide x 21" deep x 74" tall overall and 39" tall to the top of the marble. Gorgeous Marble Top Antique Buffet/Sideboard Rare Find I am listing for sale an absolutely gorgeous. Rare, 1930s buffet/sideboard cabinet. I have not seen a piece like this before. In fact, this is part of a set. Each piece is different. I will also be listing, at the same time, the other piece. I am listing each piece separately because someone may not be able to afford both pieces. This gives someone the opportunity o buy just one piece. This piece is approximately 51"L x 20 1/2" W x 69"T(floor to top of mirror)41"T(floor to marble top) There are two glass doors on top and three drawers and four doors on the bottom. The drawers and doors are nicely carved. This piece is extremely heavy. It has a solid thick marble top. Each glass cabinet on the top of this buffet/sideboard locks. This cabinet does come with two keys. ... moreOne for the top, and one for the bottom doors. This piece is in excellent condition considering its age. Doors and Drawers work appropriately. One of the locks on the bottom door does stick a little, but the key does open and lock it. Remember this is an old antique piece of furniture. Again this item is gorgeous, and I think the pictures speak for themselves. This piece is definitely a conversation piece. We do prefer pick up. But we can provide some assistance in locating a shipping company. We do not pay for any shipping. Payment arrangements for shipping is between you and the shipping company you choose.
