Vintage Wooden Sideboard In Need of TLC
For sale is an older wooden sideboard in need of some TLC. The sideboard measures 65 3/4 inches long. 21 inches from front to back, and 36 3/4 inches high. The sideboard has two doors one on each end. And two drawers in the center. The top drawer is divided, the bottom drawer is not. There are six legs- all Federal style. TLC needed to refinish. There are knicks in the wood along the edges of the top. The top needs to be completely redone. There are some raised issues in the wood on the left top side. The right door needs repair. The wood is laminated there and has damage. The left door is fine but needs refinishing. The two drawers have chips along edges and also need to be redone. The two pulls on the top drawer are missing. The legs are strong but need refinishing. Inside the drawers and doors is clean and solid. I am selling this because ... moreof an upcoming move. Vintage Henkel Harris Solid Mahogany Serpentine Sideboard Buffet Server Virginia Galleries- Winchester. VA Style No. 2367 Circa 1978 This sideboard is of the finest quality. Crafted by a firm renowned for its attention to detail and careful craftsmanship, and it is being offered at a fraction of retail cost. Designed in every detail after the Federal Period. This Hepplewhite sideboard has flaming mahogany veneers across the facade of the drawers and doors, absolutely glowing when caught in the right light. Each of these, framed in satinwood inlay, and the doors and drawers are finished in cockbead molding, beneath which the drawers are dovetailed and have the original keys. The brasses on each drawer are replicas of original American brasses. Noting the 13 stars which would normally date the design to 1790-91. The top drawer opens to reveal ... morean area for fine silverware, with soft cloth for protecting the silver from tarnish printed with the Henkel Harris insignia. Very neatly hand made with a light cream coloured cotton, in excellent condition. Each corner has a large bouquet of firm french knot flowers in vivid colours of blue. Lilac, pink and gold, tied with a black bow, a single sprig features to the centre edge. The front and side edges are finished with a matching coloured crochet. The back edge is turned and neatly hand stitched, A nice crisp cotton. Free of wear or marks, showy and displays ... morebeautifully. Measures 44cm or 17 inches x 103cm or 40.5 inches. Weight is 94 grams. All our linens are Antique or Vintage. Hand made and embroidered unless stated otherwise, We take pride in the quality and present them laundered and pressed. Sometimes there are minor imperfections due to age and normal wear. We point out the obvious faults for accuracy and describe to the best of our knowledge. Many of our English linens are early 1900s era. Vintage Sideboard Large Mat Rectangular
A beautifully worked circular mat or doilley measuring nearly 21" in diameter. It is worked in tatting and quite rare nowadays most people did crochet not tatting which is finer and takes longer. It would make an excellent cushion cover when backed with satin or velvet. In excellent condition having been stored in a drawer for many years. I have charged small packet postage but if it will go large letter(new rules coming in) then I will refund difference.

This piece is in the Jacobean style and is hand carved oak. Great Gothic style! Not huge but impressive. This piece measures 65" tall x 39" wide x 18" deep with three matching original drawer pulls. There is some veneer damage at the base that can easily be fixed and we can do this perfectly if you are interested in this being done. As this piece stands. It is a beautiful example of Jacobean heavy carving. The legs would take wheels to role this around but currently there are no wheels. Here is a beautiful decorative piece for a dining room or rec room. This could be turned into a very fancy stereo cabinet or even a hide away TV set up. Local pick up ... moreonly.
