Circa 1920 Stunning mahogany wood Ball and claw feet Includes one key Minor dings and marks to top, From a wonderful selection of mahogany wood comes this English antique Victorian style ball and claw sideboard that would make a sturdy and immaculate addition to any dining room. Not only does it provide more than ample storage. It also has a unique and eye-catching look that will have your guests asking where you found such an exquisite piece. This sideboard was made sometime around the year 1920 in England. The mahogany wood has a lovely. Deep patina that will continue to grow deeper and more beautiful as it ages. For storage there are three large drawers and two cabinet sections. All drawers open and close easily and were constructed with hand cut dovetailed drawer joints. There are two tear drop brass handles on each drawer. This center section bows out lending the piece a elegant shape. The doors were constructed with lovely flame mahogany ovals and the drawer fronts display the flame mahogany nicely as well. The left and right cabinets come equipped with a sturdy shelf for dishware. Both doors lock securely and one key is included. The rope twist carved molding adds an extra dimension of character to this extravagant piece, and all sits atop marvelous ball and claw feet. Being such a heavy and sturdy sideboard this piece has withstood the test of time very well. There are a few minor cosmetic issues to mention. Also. In the right cabinet there would have been a lead line drawer for wine bottles that is now missing. It was probably removed on purpose to allow for more storage space in that cabinet. I could not find a name on this piece but I believe it to be Morganton because 1) it came out of the same home as another piece that is signed Morganton. 2) it has identical construction features as the signed piece, 3)it appears to be the same wood.mahogany, I think. as the signed piece 4) the identifying numbers on the back are the same series and font as the signed piece. Vintage Kittinger American Hepplewhite Mahogany Sideboard Buffet Brass Gallery
This beautiful sideboard. Or buffet, is made by Kittinger and signed with their classic burned-in"Buffalo" mark on the inside of the central drawer. We believe that this fine piece of reproduction furniture was made in the 1960's, in the Hepplewhite style. It measures 79" wide, 23 1/2" deep, and 39 3/8" tall. There is a brass gallery attached to the back that adds another 11" to the total height of the piece, making it 50 3/8" tall in total. The piece is constructed with beautifully figured mahogany. The three drawer faces are banded, as is the shaped apron under the central drawer. The sideboard has been further adorned and decorated with satinwood inlays along the bottom of the two sides, along the edges of the shaped top, the front of the apron, the drawer fronts, and on front of the legs and stiles. ... moreThe legs terminate into spade feet, four of which are on the front of the piece, while two are on the back of the piece. There are three drawers, not one drawer and two cupboards as are on most sideboards. In my opinion the drawers on the sides work better than cupboard doors, as it allows easier access to the contents of the drawers, eliminating the need to remove the items in the front to access the items in the rear. Beautiful brass pulls and solid oak drawer slides further embellish the drawers, along with the banding and inlays. Since this piece is approximately 50 years old. It does have some wear on it from normal use. It is not"Show Room Perfect" There are some minor blemishes here and there in the form of dents, bumps, and bruises, as there should be on a vintage piece of furniture. After close examination of the sideboard, it appears that some professional repairs have been performed to the inlaid edges on corners of the sideboard's top. We have attempted to capture these in the last of the close-up photos. The repairs appear to have been performed by a professional as they are fairly inconspicuous and well-done. Here is a really terrific deal on a gorgeous antique banded flame mahogany sideboard or server with nice original metal hardware and functional storage space including a large central buffet drawer across the top and side cabinets on each end with a large two door central cabinet between them. This lovely sideboard was recently imported from the UK through Edinburgh. Scotland and is a high quality mid-century English reproduction piece in a traditional banded crotch mahogany design. The top surface is in very nice condition and the banding around the top edges, drawers and cabinet doors as well as all the flame mahogany wood veneers are simply fabulous. A s mentioned above. This server is in very nice condition for a piece it's age and clearly comes from a previous owner who used it only very respectfully. Top done in high end wax and top was totally stripped to bare wood and stained in a deep chestnut and sealed with 7 coats of clear gloss that WILL NOT yellow over time. 2 drawers open and close smoothly. Bottom shelf is done in all gold with 2 coats of sealant but not recommended for hot liquids. All hand done by me over a 5 day period. Very labor intensive piece. Vintage Black Sideboard, Buffet, Dining Storage Cabinet
We purchased this side board about 10 years ago. My Mom told me that it was made in the 1930's. Because she was familiar with the style. I painted it black, and it looks better as it ages; getting a real Vintage feel. It could be easily painted to your choice of color, or stripped down to the original wood. There are 2 drawers in the middle. One is sectioned, with fabric on each side, and the one below it, is very deep, and holds a ton of stuff! There are pull open cabinet doors on each side of the drawers. It has ball feet, and they are all in good shape; except for one; which is missing the front part of the ball. It was like this when I got it, so I just painted it, and it is hardly noticeable. I have a ton of other photos, but had trouble downloading them. Six piece kitchen/dining room furniture. The little lamps on the sideboard have cherries painted on them and the table sports a wonderful dog decal. The sideboard has a tin"mirror" as you can see. There are no marks of origin. But undoubtedly US made. The chairs are amazing and look like the real thing. I don't know how to figure the various sizes of dollhouse furniture, so I will tell you that the height of the chair seats is 1 1/2" and the table height is 2 1/8" I believe to be ca. 1950's. Vintage Antique Maple Sideboard Buffet Cabinet, China Hutch All Original. LQQK
This is a very nice Antique that has been in the family for at least 100 years. This elegant piece measures 48 inches long by 17 1/2 inches deep by 56 1/2 inches high. The lockable doors have beveled glass and between them. The center features a beautiful Tulip made up and decorated with inlaid polished copper and brass. The shelves still have the original felt lining. I do not know the manufacturer but it does have a number. This piece was part of the art revolution of that time. The maple wood has never been refinished and is all original. It is in excellent condition for its age with only a few light scuff marks and a couple of nicks. Vintage oak BUFFET sideboard circa 1920 - 1930
This large buffet measures 41" H x 55" W x 23" D. The mirror is 18" H making the total height 59" I think it is from the 1920 era but I am not sure. It has Queen Ann style legs that are about 10 1/2" high. There is lots of storage with 6 drawers and 2doors. All the surface areas seem good and the mirror is good also. Sold as is with pickup only. Incredible work of art.steampunk. Industrial desk, loft furniture,work bench, table, machine age, reclaimed wood. Perfect as a sideboard. Kitchen island, desk, workbench, table, bar height table I was given the chance to salvage anything I wanted from a small barn that was going to be demolished. The barn was right here in my home town of Fox River Grove. Illinois. This workbench was one of many treasures I acquired. It was in rough condition when I rescued it. I knew I could restore it to full glory. I think it came out spectacular, however you will be the judge, perhaps it will speak to you like it does to me! This is built like a battleship. The industrial grade frame is fantastic, it reminds me of a steel bridge.with the large rivets and big bolts&nuts.A few of the nuts are missing below the top, it has no effect on strength.there ... moreare so many other bolts&nuts holding the top in place, as I said built like a battleship! The top is 3 1/4 inches thick. Made of a total of 3 layers of wood. Uner the 3/4"thick oak strip top are 2 thick layers of planks, the front and side edges of the piece are covered in pine. I love the incredible patina of all of the wood including stains. Nail& screw holes, oak pegs, pinholes, orange-ish stain area on left side of top, there is even an area on the front left trim where the wood was charred from being burned(it is sealed with varnish and looks great)no doubt a torch was used to repair/weld something.The top has some waviness/wear as you would expect with age, it just adds to the wonderful character. The patina is second to none.patina like this can only be created by years& years of use and hundreds of projects being done on this bench I restored the entire bench by hand. I added some of the solid oak pegs in the top to seal old holes. The entire bench has been hand sealed with varnish. Everything including the underside of the top. The entire metal frame has been sealed, making it easy to wipe clean. the top was sealed with many, many coats of hand rubbe

This is a very special vintage danish modern piece. It was custom made in the late 1960's by a danish trained cabinet maker by the name of Drazka. He immigrated to the United States after apprenticing in Denmark as a cabinet designer. He then went on to make cabinets for high end homes around the country. Before moving to Las Vegas in the late 1970's. In Vegas he was contracted by several major casinos on the Las Vegas strip, and he designed many of the bars and seating in the nightclubs and restaurants in the strip casinos. This bedroom credenza w/ full size vanity is his own custom design. He built it for himself. And was in his bedroom for the last several decades. Made from 2 types of wood(teak and birch. Normal high end Baker Furniture construction and craftsmanship. Beautiful smaller size sideboard server; possibly from the Charleston Collection. The server measures about 36" long x 18 1/2" deep x 32" tall. The server has flame mahogany. Inlay banding, inlay bell flowers, solid brass pulls, a slight bow drawers and top and dovetailed drawers. There is a top pull-out serving shelf with brass pulls. Excellent construction quality. The top drawer has a removable center divider and the Baker metal label. Very good condition with normal signs of use and age. The server has been cleaned, washed and polished. There are a few light scratches from use. There is a darker finish 1" area on the rear inside tops of the back legs as pictured. Research suggest that some models had a small piece of fret work in this area.
