This line is by far and away the best the Stanley offered in the era. In my ... moreopinion. I am selling the matching gentleman's dresser, or highboy, separately. Both pieces have been refinished, but missing veneer work was not done, so, as you can see in pics 4& 8 there is slight edge veneer loss at the front side corners. In pic 5 you can barely see that the veneer has been re-glued. There are a few nicks here and there, and there are hardware circles around a couple of the drawer pulls, where the handles have been rotated and made a circle in the wood around. The hardware, as well as the design, makes this piece much more eye catching, with steel pulls and horizontal rosewood tips on each pull. This piece measures 54" x 32" x 18" deep. I would say it is in really nice condition for it's age with the following exceptions: The top looks like it had a small amount of black paint splattered on it. Vintage Ello Mid Century Mirrored Credenza Sideboard Mirror Brass. Great looking retro four door cabinet with mirrored top and door fronts. The sides and background material are brass. Has two shelves(one in each side) and a drawer on the right side. Dates from the 1970s-80s. It measures 29 1/2" tall x 72 1/2" x 20 1/2" deep. Fair/good vintage condition. This has a lot of signs of use but still displays nicely. The mirrored top has a lot of surface scratches on it. The metal has a number of dings and scratches on it over the whole piece. Two of the mirrors on the front have small chips on the side(can probably be left alone without replacing the mirrors) The interior has some color change or fading to the formica from years of aging. It has some marks from use including an ink line on the bottom. One of the shelves has a small ... morechip in the corner. Also one of the rubber shelf holders/brackets is missing. One of the best we have come across is some time. Firstly the construction is premium. And the design is super functional while being bold and minimalist. A single long handle opens the two folding doors which are connected with piano hinges that run the entire height of the sideboard. These reveal a number of drawers and you will note the outstanding condition of the drawers. Three shelves which can be altered in height. These shelves have solid walnut curved edge fronts. The unit has a hole in the back(done at factory) that allows the running of wires from inside the main cabinet to lamps or items above. This is heavy and well ... moremade. It is unmarked. Produced by Directional with brass legs or with plinth stand(this model) The condition is very good. Minor imperfections exist to the top surface. The left hand side has two rails(top rail and bottom rail) where there are scratches. The plinth base sits directly to the floor and there are minor chips along that edge- virtually invisible from any viewing angle and if on carpet absent from view. I have lots of Mid Century listed and more on the way. This is a neat old cabinet with a drawer and storage underneath. Great looking lines on this piece it will go in any Mid Century home or office. It has normal wear you would expect but a nice solid piece. It is 65 tall and 38 3/4 wide by about 17 1/4 deep. I am not shipping this but will gladly store it until you can get here to pick it up.

Absolute top quality Cabinet Mirror inserts behind fretwork doors Circa 1950-1960 30.5" Tall. 73" wide, 20.75" deep An absolute stunner of a cabinet is up for offer. No veneers. Only pure wood and cross banded wood(no particle board or MDF) was used in this. We suspect it is a Johnson Furniture cabinet that was painted some time ago. We had the paint removed and the cabinet restored in white lacquer. A large number of coats have been applied giving a luster finish that can not be accomplished by any other finishes other than true lacquer. The left side reveals three drawers with ample space. The right side reveals a shelf and drawer with compartments. Fully restored and in great condition. Will please and satisfy. Milo Baughman/ Kipp Stewart for Directional& Johnson Furniture 67" x 18" x x 32" Outstanding cabinet for use as buffet. Entertainment cabinet or sideboard One of the best we have come across is some time. Firstly the construction is premium. And the design is super functional while being bold and minimalist. The attribution Is from a dealer who had the information on the lines designed by Johnson furniture though we have not seen it. Milo Baughman& Kipp Stewart did designs between 1963 and 1968 specifically for Directional. The items were produced by Johnson Furniture. Pieces from this limited line are scarce. A single long handle opens the two folding doors which are connected with piano hinges that run the entire height of the sideboard. These reveal a number of drawers and you will note the outstanding condition ... moreof the drawers. Three shelves which can be altered in height. These shelves have solid walnut curved edge fronts. This is a premium constructed piece that is highly functional. The unit has a hole in the back(done at factory) that allows the running of wires from inside the main cabinet to lamps or items above. This is heavy and well made. It is unmarked. Produced by Directional with brass legs or with plinth stand(this model) The condition is very good. Minor imperfections exist to the top surface. The left hand side has two rails(top rail and bottom rail) where there are scratches. The plinth base sits directly to the floor and there are minor chips along that edge- virtually invisible from any viewing angle and if on carpet absent from view. Note that the plinth base sits directly on the floor. No feet though we can add metal feet glides if you wish for ease of movement. Overall this is great condition and will please. This is a gorgeous piece. With no Stow& Davis label, but as far as I know they were the only furniture makers with the signature leather work top. This piece does need some light to medium refurbishing, as it was used in an office environment since it was made, but nothing too major(see all pictures) The original keys to the drawers are included. Message me for dimensions but on the top of my head I believe it is about 6 feet long, 2 feet deep, and 3 feet tall. I have the matching desk but that one needs more work. Low G Plan. England sideboard or base. Its 64 inch's long X 21 inch's tall X 18 inch's deep and in good structural condition with no structural damage. The top does have scratch's which I have tried to picture also a very small dent in the right hand door which I have tried to picture but hardly noticeable. Doors work well and the handles are in great shape. This piece has been with me for sometime. We used it in England then Shipped to New Zealand and finally to the U.S. We have a smaller home here and no room for it. It has been used in the past for our T.V. MID CENTURY MODERN Vintage Herman Miller George Nelson GLASS CABINET CREDENZA
Please note that this auction is for the glass credenza only. The slat bench is for display purposes. Here's a wonderful vintage 1950s era George Nelson designed for Herman Miller glass credenza unit. This particular style was made especially to sit on a Herman Miller slat bench as seen in the first photo. It features 2 sliding glass doors. Both with the iconic George Nelson"scoop" handles that are built into the glass and a interior lamp that switches on and off as needed. The piece is a authentic but is missing the Herman Miller sticker as many of these vintage pieces are. CONDITION Overall the unit is in excellent condition with no major detractions. There are no breaks. Cracks or splits to the wood. The sliding glass is complete and without chips or cracks. The lamp has been tested and works as it should. The electrical ... morecord is complete and without damage. There are some light scuff and scratch marks as seen in the photos that are normal for a unit of this age. Many of these have been lightly colored in with a furniture crayon and are very hard to spot. Photo 9 and 10 show both sides of the unit which has some of this light wear. Photo 11 shows a small area on the top which also has some light wear. These photos show the sides with direct light applied to it to make these minor detractions stand out more. The unit is missing the glass(or wood) shelves that went inside but it does have 8 of the metal clips that hold the shelves. These fit into the interior slots as they should and are secure. The cord that goes to the lamp is secure to the sides and top but not taut. It leads to a vintage transformer which sits loosely on the bottom interior. The transformer works as it should but it isn't the prettiest thing in the world. The fixture uses a modern bulb so you may be able to do a simple re-wire and get rid of this transformer unit. The back of the unit is enclosed with thinner wood. A couple of the nail tacks are missing but the wood is still secure. These tacks could be easily replaced. I be

Vintage George Nelson Herman Miller Credenza Desk Return Mid Century Modern
Up for auction is a very nice George Nelson for Herman Miller desk return or secretary credenza. This is a one owner piece that came out of a prominent Grand Rapids Architects office. I believe this is part of the executive office group or EOG and was designed in 1958. It is made of walnut with chrome square tubular legs. It has a cut out in the top for electrical cords and has a recessed shelf area on the right side. It is all original and in very good condition for its age. Retains original Herman Miller label. Does have some minor scratches but no major damage. Finished on back as well to float in the middle of a room. Perfect for that"Madmen" office. Davis Allen is considered one of the greatest industrial designers of the period. He performed a number of designs also for Stow Davis along very similar lines as this ... moremodel. This design and a series of them were done upon the behest of a company in Kentucky that made a very large order with them. The quality of this credenza is second to none. Besides having a substantial weight associated with it due to the use of very hard woods and the use of solid block lumber. The credenza features superior construction in the draw mechanics and pulls ensuring this credenza will last as long as any other made. Steel inserts give the lines a very modern look and feel. The lock on the side locks all cabinets but we do not have the key. The drawers are spotless. The wood is in premium condition with so few marks upon it that we consider did not need addressing. It is in great condition but not new condition. This cabinet and all four we have each feature adjustable feet for leveling. Satisfaction guaranteed. The two large cabinet doors lock with included keys and house removable wooden shelves(1 in the left door and 2 in the right) All four drawers open and close very smoothly on their wooden runners. The top drawer is fitted inside and lined with felt. Its original purpose was to store silverware but could be used for a variety of purposes today. There are two minor cosmetic issues to point out that keep this piece from being in perfect condition. There is a small age separation on the skirt at the bottom. Also. There are some light spots on the top on the left side. These are in the finish and we were not able to touch them up. We have included pictures of this area. Vintage China Cabinet Mid Century Buffett Modern Credenza Glass Curio Case
This is a vintage mid century modern china cabinet. A really cool piece. It's not as large as some other mid cen mod China cabinets, so it's perfect for smaller homes/apartments, or for those who dont need to store a service for 10+ dining set. It's in good vintage condition, though of course it has some scratches, scuffs, signs of wear, and few dings. All of which add to the vintage patina! The drawers are all Dovetailed. And the inside of the cabinet is also in very good condition. The glass doors are the original pieces, and overall, this piece is about a 7 out of 10 for condition. Local pickup only.
