This sideboard is large ... moremeasuring about 78" long(6.5 Ft) 41" tall(about 3.5 Ft) and 21" thick from front to back. It has cabinets on each end with roomy shelves inside. The center has a glass door that I display carnival glass in. There is another shelf for that display and have it and it will be included with the buffet. It has two long and wide drawers for storage and has pretty black and white solid marble that is about 2" thick. Each drawer and cabinet has silver toned and brass handles in the art deco style. The brass could use a good polishing. This piece is very versitile, I have used itin the kitchen as an island and in the living room as a TV stand. It does have a hole cut in the back for electronic component cords. The heavy marble top has a crack through it and is in two pieces. The marble is removeable to make moving the piece easier. It is very heavy with the mable approximately 300 pounds. I cannot ship this item it is for local pick up only in Mannington, WV 26582. This 19th century piece is just gorgeous and would surely be a beautiful focal point in your home. This is a impressive sideboard with gorgeous spoon carvings. Finials, carved Lion heads,burl walnut panel accents and a fancy carved scroll and shell gallery as well as the original beautiful brown marble top and the original brass hardware and early dove-tailed ends on the drawers. This sideboard/ buffet measures a total height of 82 1/2 inches( 6 ft 10 1/2 in) to the top of the carvings on the very top center. Height from the floor to the top of the brown marble measures 36 1/2 inches,with a total width of 48 1/4 inches and a depth at the base of 21 1/2 inches and this pieces weighs approximately 250 lbs. This sideboard does dis-assemble into 4 pieces for easier handling during shipping and moving. The fine display shelf above the marble measures 26 inches in height above the marble top and the shelf measures 43 inches wide by 11 inches deep.The larger mirror measures 19 inches high by 33 inches wide, and the three mirrors at the top each measure 10 inches wide by 6 inches high. This is a fabulous piece in wonderful antique condition and the original brown marble top is also just beautiful with no apologies we can find. All the locks are intact but the key provided just aids in opening the cabinet doors and does not work the locks. There is a small piece of carving missing on the left side of the pediment inside of one of the scrolls. I have shown a close-up of in the pictures and appears to have been missing for a long time.nothing major in my opinion and definitely doesn't distract from the beauty of this gorgeous 19th century piece. This listing includes the pictured Evette& Schaeffer by Buffet saxophone in its original case with neck. Mouthpiece with ligature and cover, two different straps, and a neck inlet reducing coupler. Let me start off by saying that I am not an expert on these instruments, so please do your own research on this sax before purchasing. This sax looks to be a 60's to 70's tenor model based on its size by comparison to others like it. Everything looks to be original with no apparent repairs. There is a lot of tarnish and discoloration on the metal along with some minor blemishes, but this sax is otherwise in very good vintage condition and does not have any obvious dents that I could find. We purchased this side board about 10 years ago. My Mom told me that it was made in the 1930's. Because she was familiar with the style. I painted it black, and it looks better as it ages; getting a real Vintage feel. It could be easily painted to your choice of color, or stripped down to the original wood. There are 2 drawers in the middle. One is sectioned, with fabric on each side, and the one below it, is very deep, and holds a ton of stuff! There are pull open cabinet doors on each side of the drawers. It has ball feet, and they are all in good shape; except for one; which is missing the front part of the ball. It has one ring up near the beak and three rings farther down with the Buffet logo appearing below the three rings(between them and the cork) I did a little research on this piece and found an identicle one on the ClarinetPerfection.com website. It was the earliest one listed and was estimated to be from the 1930's. Which jives with what I was told by the guy I bought it from regarding when his Dad, the prior owner, was active in playing. Unfortunately the website didn't have much more info. From what I gather though, it is likely a blank made by the venerable Chedeville company. ... moreEven today these blanks are highly prized for customization by top players due to the quality of the hard rubber compound from which they were manufactured. This one seems to play very well as is, but I am by no means an accomplished clarinetist, so I might not be the best to judge. It is in very good condition with a smooth tip, table, and rails. There are no tooth indentations on the beak. There is markings on the table suggesting hand finishing, but I suspect those are indicative of original hand finishing at the factory rather than re-facing. The cork is in good shape. The logo is worn, but when you see it in person you can tell what it is. There is another logo near the top that is harder to see, but based on the Clarinet Perfection information I have surmised that it said"Evettine" I did also just notice that on the butt end of the shank it is stamped"C-2" very small. Which indicates the year of manufacture to be 1967, during the Buffet‘Golden Era’ This model, developed by Robert Carrée in 1955, was the top of the line professional clarinets offered by Buffet Crampon. The main reason why the‘Golden era’ Buffet clarinets are coveted and sought after by the players is the quality of the grenadilla wood these instruments were made of: the wood was allowed to air dry for 20 years or more to ensure that the clarinet won’t crack and was of the finest grade, very hard, dense and naturally dark. Vintage Buffet Clarinet Beautiful Overhaul, Master Pads, Corks, Springs, Etc.
This vintage Buffet clarinet. Serial number 2419, is brighter and lighter than my Festival and I prefer the feel of its thinner key rings. I've had this clarinet for a long time. Late in 2012 I decided it was worth having refurbished. It had worn tenons on the upper joint, needed new springs, corks, pads, oil bath- the works. I sent it out, along with the Festival, for a complete overhaul, which included replacing the upper joint tenons. Now it plays like a dream and this overhaul will last for years and years. It cost me $400 and was well worth it. I haven't played it much at all since getting it back. So it's as it was immediately after being restored. The original case is in excellent shape with less than normal edge scuffs for a case this old and the latch springs work as new. The only issue cosmetically with this clarinet ... moreare some chips near tenon joints(see the pictures) There are no cracks in the wood anywhere and it's made from the wonderful grenadilla wood that was still available back when it was made- very tight grained. I removed the Eb/B key on the upper joint. Which I never use and plug the tone hole with cork. PLEASE LOOK AT THE LAST PICTURE. It's an easy matter to pull the cork out and put the key back on. I will either ship as is, with the key in the case, or put the key back on before shipping if requested. No returns. So please ask questions and look at the pictures. I've tried to be thorough. It looks to me that it says"Overalt" but I can't find any record of this or any company with a similar name. Ok. So what do we have here? This is a hard rubber tenor sax mouthpiece made I'm guessing in the late 1920's because of the metal ring at the bottom. Aside from a few dings- and who or what that's nearly 90 years old doesn't have a few? Overall, I'd say this mouthpiece is in very nice condition, and appears to have a big chamber. Antique Vintage Serpentine Mahogany 12 Drawer Dresser Mirror Bow Front Buffet
Hi this is a great matching mahogany 12 drawer serpentine dresser and mirror in very good used condition. The mirror is a wall mounted mirror and does not attach to the dresser. I am willing to sell the mirror separately for the right price. The dresser is wonderful with a platform base and symmetrical sides with very cool curves. The dresser measures 60 1/4" long 20" deep and 33 1/2" tall. The top is 1 3/8" thick. The side drawers are 19" wide internally and graduated heights. The top is 3" then they get taller by an inch as you go down 4" 5" and 6" on the bottom. The mirror has no chips cracks or breaks and the silver is good and even throughout and it measures approximately 52" by 33 3/4" I am selling this for a friend who has had this in the family a long time and never mounted the ... moremirror over the dresser. The stain on the mirror is a bit darker than the dresser as I believe it was not used and in storage most of the time. This is an incredible credenza/bar from the Broyhill Premier Sculptra line. Manufactured in the 1960s. This piece was purchased from the estate of the original owner and was incredibly maintained. Walnut wood construction. The unit separates into two distinct pieces: the bar top and lower credenza. The bar top features a caned drop-down door. Buffet Crampon Evette& Schaeffer E-13 intermediate/pro clarinet Here’s an exceptional freshly-restored Evette& Schaeffer clarinet. Made by Buffet Crampon artisans in Paris during what is now called the golden era of Buffet production, when Buffet was owned by clarinetist/craftsman Paul Evette and Ernest Schaeffer, the R13 was their top professional model, and the Evette& Schaeffer was the model just below it. From Buffet’s description: The EVETTE-SCHAEFFER clarinet is built in its entirety in the Buffet factory. The same wood and same bore is used. The difference in price between the regular Buffet and the Evette-Schaeffer is a matter of hand finishing key mechanism and final tuning. It's worth mentioning that the old-growth grenadilla wood Buffet had available in the 1970's is of a quality rarely seen today: air-dried ... morefor 20 years to resist cracking. Extremely dense and hard, and naturally black. By comparison, the wood used for a new R13 today is kiln-dried, lighter and more porous, and stained black. The long-term value of a wood clarinet is all about the quality of the wood. Comparing this Evette& Schaeffer to an R13 of similar vintage. The only difference(other than the logos) is that it doesn't have the body cutout below the crows foot(which lowers the right hand pinky keys 1mm) and the right hand sliver key is shaped differently. Otherwise, it’s just like the R13, with polycylindrical bore, undercut toneholes, and blued-steel springs. Like the R13, it has integral toneholes carved out of the same block of wood as the body, whereas the Buffet intermediate clarinets, like the E12F($1743 retail) uses glued-in inserts. Serial number K305XX is stamped on both body sections. Dating its manufacture to 1973. From its condition before the overhaul, it has hardly seen any use and must have spent the majority of its life in safe storage. This is a very nice Antique that has been in the family for at least 100 years. This elegant piece measures 48 inches long by 17 1/2 inches deep by 56 1/2 inches high. The lockable doors have beveled glass and between them. The center features a beautiful Tulip made up and decorated with inlaid polished copper and brass. The shelves still have the original felt lining. I do not know the manufacturer but it does have a number. This piece was part of the art revolution of that time. The maple wood has never been refinished and is all original. It is in excellent condition for its age with only a few light scuff marks and a couple of nicks. Elegant Paden City Chinese Pheasants Depression glass. Table buffet decor centerpiece. They are 13 1/2" long. They vary in height but are approx. 6" tall. No chips or cracks. But there is a makers flaw under 1 wing feather. This is not a chip. The glass is nice and clear with a slight grayish tint. They both match very well in color, they vary in size height by the way they were made and mounted on their stands. One is a tilted a little to the side and more forward making his head a little lower. The glass is nice and thick and very heavy. These are also nice on large coffee tables and end tables. This table runner. Dresser scarf, buffet runner/scarf is 51"x14.5" It is off-white in color with variegated embroidered pink flowers some what like a pansy and brown branches. The center of each flower has yellow French knots. The embroidery work is along each end and on one side which makes me think it was for the top of a buffet or dresser more than to be used as a table runner. Vintage 1950s THREE PIECE Laminate Gray Corner Unit and China Cabinet/Buffet
This is a listing for a Vintage 1950s early 1960s THREE PIECE kitchen buffet/ china cabinet and vintage kitchen display cabinet. This is a GREAT dining room set for any vintage furniture lover The piece are in great condition and only need a good cleaning. There are no chips in the laminate and they have a nice light gray color to them. The double sliding glass has no chips and they move freely. The pieces have their shelves and have a lot of storage for dishes. Linens and other housewares! The buffet piece has two pieces to it and they are separate(one on top of the other) and can be taken off for the trip home. The glass slides out easily and the base of the buffet has all of its drawers and has good hinges. The standing cabinet has great glass and has all its drawers as well. Vintage 1899 Genuine Buffet Crampon Clarinet w/ Case This bass clarinet is a genuine wooden Buffet Crampon model with a serial number of 65M. Meaning it was manufactured in 1899. Were unsure of exactly what type of clarinet it is, but it looks very similar to a concert Bass Clarinet. However, we cannot guarantee that it is actually that. The wood used is most likely grenadilla wood, but again, I will stress we are not experts on instruments. This ... morelisting is for a bass clarinet that looks to be missing a few pieces and a case. The case has some discoloration on the inside and the outside also has some staining, scratches, knicks, and other general cosmetic wear. The clarinet itself has wear such as shallow scratches, worn, torn, or missing pads, a strange green residue around the metal bezels and keys, and the metal is dull in luster. On the Body and barrel of this clarinet, the name W.J. Pogue is carved into it very shallowly. The instrument and case do have a faint musky smell due to age and potentially location of storage for long periods of time as well as a more potent, almost sour smell, from a possible woodwind oil leak. Nice set of the colored picnic utensils in a retro striped tray w/ wire basket for carrying and in the original box. There are 34 pieces all together including 11 red forks. 12 yellow knives, and 11 blue spoons. I dont believe these were ever used although the two utensils are missing and look great for display or use them in a picnic setting. The tray measures 8 3/4 by 7.
