The ... moretop center has a heavily carved crown. The Sideboard/Buffet is made in three main sections. The base with two drawers and two doors with one interior. Removable shelf measures: 55" wide x 21 1/2" deep x 39" tall. The next section supports the top section with two columns and provides a decorative pierced plate rail. It measures: 16" tall x 12" deep. The plate rail is 4" deep with a 2" opening for plates. The third(top section) measures: 51" wide x 41" tall x 13 1/2" deep it is 103 inches tall overall. It has 3 profusely carved doors. The center door appears to have been carved from one piece of wood and represents a man on a horse with a trumpet chasing a deer. The two side doors have applied carving that represents scrolls and flowers. The top section has two adjustable shelves. There are two columns on the front of the base and 8 columns on the front of the top section. There are two keys for the two top side doors. There is no lock in the center door. The crown is 6" tall. Demilune bas d' armoire in ... morethe French Louis XVI style has a warm, reddish brown patina, and is crafted from mahogany with rosewood or kingwood. Its clean lines will compliment a wide variety of decors, including neoclassical, English Georgian and French empire. It features a rouge marble top, crosshatch parquetry inlay, and neoclassical gilt bronze mounts including lion and goddess masks, rosettes, reed-and-tie molding, and shell and scrolling foliate motifs. It measures 46" wide, 50.25" tall and 18" deep. Interior measures 40.5" wide and 30" high, and is fitted with notched sides to accomodate two, original adjustable shelves. This cabinet dates from circa 1900. The rear panel is pierced with a handful of holes created to accomodate television and stereo cords. Each panel has a handful or more noticeable scuffs and chips to the parquetry, and the side panels appear to have been relacquered because these damages are not noticeable by touch. Each center door has a single stress crack. There are other minor chips here and there, and the gilt bronze molding on the left corner has separated from the frame. A very fine antique. Circa 1880's, quartersawn oak sideboard with mottled brown marble top. The style is a combination of Renaissance and Classical. Two part construction. The top section with column supported shelf has a broken pediment type crest having finial, and spindel gallery. The marble is a meander of gray and cream in a chestnut brown color. The case has two long drawers over a two doored compartment. Fancy brass handles to all oak interior drawers, the doors with carved lion heads on tablets. Includes the lock and key. it measures 5'8" 68" tall by 4'3" 51" wide by 20" deep. the top shelf 7" deep. Below the case is a column supported long shelf over bun feet. Excellent condition: oak boards without chips or cracks, original dark finish. The marble slab is without cracks or chips.

Antique Victorian Mirrored Inlaid Server Marble Top Sideboard English c. 1800's
Stunning Victorian mirrored sideboard or server. This ornate piece features carved decorations cresting each of its three sections. The center section has a large arched mirror with beveled edges. To each side of it are smaller oval beveled mirrors surrounded by filigree inlay and framed by turned columns. Each side section also features a small shelf over a larger serving area with molded edges. While the center section is slightly recessed and has been covered with beautiful rose-colored marble. Below the serving surfaces are two dovetail-jointed drawers with decorative brass bail handle pulls incised with geometric designs that resemble ankhs. The bottom half of this piece features three spacious cabinets, each framed by turned columns and with a mirrored and inlaid door that is opened with a key. This piece most likely dates from the ... moremid 1800's and is English in style and probably originated there. This piece is in fair to good antique condition with some minor breakage including and small break to the center crest. Breaks to the arched frames around two of the lower mirrors, a sizable chip to the veneer on the center door and a crack through the mirror surround on the upper right side, but no structural damage. Gorgeous Victorian era marble top server or sideboard. This beautiful piece has been capped with a gray and white marble top with rounded corners. The server show signs of high-quality construction including a paneled back and sides and sturdy dovetail joint drawers. The two drawers have fluted edges surrounding burl walnut inlay. Pressed brass pulls with a sun-like like design and silver-friendly linings. The lower cabinet has two doors, each with a burl walnut panel framed in a molded edge. The ring shaped pulls and brass escutcheons are made from brass. This piece most likely dates from the late 19th century. No maker's marks. The server is in good antique condition with some small holes in the marble top. See pictured example. The locks have been removed. It was crafted from the most beautiful kingwood. Has the most wonderful ormolu mounts with exquisite floral marquetry and parquetry decoration. It is surmounted with a beautiful peach variegated marble top that has a moulded edge. The frieze with fabulous ormolu decoration is fitted with a long central drawer with a smaller drawer on each side. It has three spacious cupboards below. Each with a central shelf. The central panel with a marquetry of flowers and foliage in a basket, flanked by panels with lattice parquetry with similar panels to the sides. The marble top does have some discoloration which adds to its character, however you may want to have it honed for a cleaner look. The majolica Art Deco tile is a show stopper and is my favorite part of this piece. The tile is in perfect condition, but could stand to be reset to make it more secure. Up for your consideration I am offering a beautiful piece that is hard to part with. I am downsizing and would keep it if I could. This sideboard is large measuring about 78" long(6.5 Ft) 41" tall(about 3.5 Ft) and 21" thick from front to back. It has cabinets on each end with roomy shelves inside. The center has a glass door that I display carnival glass in. There is another shelf for that display and have it and it will be included with the buffet. It has two long and wide drawers for storage and has pretty black and white solid marble that is about 2" thick. Each drawer and cabinet has silver toned and brass handles in the art deco style. The brass could use a good polishing. This piece is very versitile, I have used itin the kitchen as an island and in the living room as a TV stand. I believe this to be the work of John Belter from the Victorian era. Needs total restoration but is in solid condition. Check the pictures closely. Notice the early dovetailing. Notice the fantastic carving. Appears to be of walnut or mahogany. Marble top which is pictured lying on the ground is in perfect condition. Antique French? European Art Deco Sideboard with Italian Marble Top - Chicago**
Antique French? European Art Deco Sideboard Here is a wonderful antique Art Deco Sideboard for you consideration. I'm not certain of it's origin but appears to be Italian or French. Since I cannot ascertain its manufacturer or age. You must be the ultimate judge. This stunning Sideboard has 4 drawers with silver ball type pulls. Each backed by a copper disc. The end swinging cabinet doors are hinged the full length and both contain a working lock(photo#4) with key. The pulls on each door are truly amazing, a perfect compliment to the quarter-sawn oak veneer inlay. There is one small area of veneer loss on the RH end(photo#8) which is easily repaired. The crowning element is the top surface which is a warm rose-colored Italian marble. The top measures 47-1/4” wide x 19-3/4” deep. The sideboard stands approx. 33” tall.
