A very fine antique. Circa 1920's, solid mahogany Louis XV style sideboard, the front drawers and sides with veneers and bands of parquet inlay, the sideboard front corners wth walnut burl. It is finely carved on legs, skirt, and stretchers with scrolling acanthus leaves. The straight back legs, and the center drawer, are fluted. The Belgian black marble top with beveled edge is fine without damage or repairs. It measures 7" 84" wide by 3'1" 37" tall by 23" deep. Excellent condition: original brown unworn finish, no losses to inlays, veneers, or burls.

There are two drawers and two cabinet doors in this marble top server that provide a good amount of storage. The cabinets and the back splash have complimenting wood carvings that also tie in to the brass drawer handles. This is an exquisite piece. The overall size is 82 inches wide. 52 inches high and 21 inches deep. The inside space on the left hand door is 41 inches wide, 18 inches deep and 38 inches high. The three shelves are approximately 9 inches of height between each shelf. The right hand side has an open space of 22 inches high above the drawers. 18th century Italian marble top console with paw feet. This console measures 61.25 inches wide at the top and 64.50 inches wide at the front feet. It is 30.25 inches deep and 38 inches high. The bottom shelf curves in to 11.5 inches deep at its center. It is 30.5 inches from the floor to the underside of the top skirt. The original marble is 1.75 inches thick. And shows some use marks and minor chip repairs commensurate with its age. The console is in excellent overall condition. Dropped finials, rosettes and recessed oval panels of burl with filigree burl panels encasing the ovals.The drawer pulls are masterfully carved and the unique original key works all the locks on the drawers. The drawer ends offer period dove-tailing and there is old felt lining inside each drawer.The details on this 19th century sideboard/ buffet are truly beautiful, truly a statement piece! This piece measures a total height of 84 inches to the top of the crest. This fabulous 19th century sideboard has a wow presence for sure and is solid and tight and in excellent antique condition for being approximately 130 years or so old. There is a small piece of the grapevine carving missing at the tip end of the grape cluster on the crest, and a tiny piece of molding missing on the right side right above the marble(see next to last picture) and the left door does present with a slight age shrinkage separation in the center that is not very noticeable but there, all which I have tried to capture in the pictures, nothing major in my opinion but wanted to point them out. Measures 33 1/2" tall X 44 1/2" wide/long X 12" deep. White removable marble slab is 3/4" thick. This is an antique from probably before 1900 made in the Louis XVI style. It belonged to my great grandmother who lived to be 100 and died close to 20 years ago. Beautiful art-deco classic! A fine Italian marquetry sideboard. From about 1935 I think, it features impressive flame-mahogany and burl-walnut veneers, classic angle-fronted drawers, beveled and etched-glass doors, a marble top, scalloped edges, and bronze and Bakelite hardware. The piece comes apart in two sections, with the back and upper cupboards lifting off the base section. Dimensions are approx. 76" H x 62" W x 21" D. The piece is original and authentic. And as such there is evidence of minor damage to the veneer, with a few small chips on the top and front of some drawers, and the left hand glass door. I have attempted to show this in the last 3 photos. The effect is hardly noticeable, and does nothing to detract from the rather elegant majesty of the piece.
