Comprised of rosewood and rosewood veneer over real wood(no mdf) The piece features two sliding doors that open to reveal a divided interior storage space with a single adjustable height shelf on the right side and three height adjustable slide out drawers on the left. This is one of the later examples(late 1960s) with the drawers being in white plastic(all original and one flocked along its interior bottom) The shelf and drawers have 7 height adjustments(2 3/8" increments) or can be removed all together, so you have many size options for your storage. Cool circular teak pull handles are integrated into the doors themselves and the credenza is finished off with solid turned legs. Legs will remove for more compact shipping. measurements Overall 33 3/4" wide by 17 7/8" deep by 29 5/8" high. Right Interior side has an overall space of just under 22" wide by 16 3/8" deep by 18 1/4" high. For sale is a magnificent tambour door server and upper cabinet. This mid-century modern delight was made by Berhnard Pedersen and Sons of Denmark. The lower doors magically slide and disappear into the side panels. Three drawers and three adjustable shelves in the server. Upper cabinet has two adjustable shelves with sliding glass doors. The upper section simply rests on the lower. Lower can be used separately. You can see this piece offered for sale at 1stdibs dot com for $7.000 for the bottom piece only! There are 4 drawers- the top is divided and lined in felt for utensils. There are 2 sections with doors and 1 adjustable shelf; 1 section without the door(damaged- see photo 12) with adjustable shelf. The sideboard measures 6' 3.5" across by 31.5" high by 17.5" deep. Its the perfect piece for a those with limited or hard to fit space but still want the beauty and function of a LONG sleek credenza. There is literally zero footprint on the floor and its narrow depth allows placement in tight areas where most credenzas of this length would never work. Beautifully made of both solid teak and teak veneer over wood. It features a very wide open storage shelf space with two long sliding doors flanked on either side by 6 pull out drawers. Drawers are all felt lined and have lovely integrated teak ill handles. The piece can really take on different looks depending on how you place the doors(see the many many pics below for examples) or you could remove them if you want a ... morenice open display area. This is a very solid and super functional with nice detail and richness to the teak. It mounts to your wall via an integrated teak bar system using five wall anchors/ bolts. There is no visible means of support once up giving a very clean and slick look. We would suggest butterfly anchors for drywall and will include some with the credenza. If you have a solid wall like brick or the like. You will need to get the proper type of bolts at your local home center or hardware store. We do not come across pieces like this in this scale often. DESCRIPTION You are bidding on a beautiful solid wood buffet/sideboard made by Henredon in 1999. This piece is brand new with original tags and still has plastic over cloth in top drawer. This was a blemished piece so used as a floor model. The flawed damage is on the back part of the side. There are also scratches and marks on the top. There is a small hole cut thru on the back. There is also damage on the back part and few scratches on the front bottom. All of these flaws are shown in pics. This piece could easily still be used. I have not done any touchups on it so some of the scratches could be covered. It looks like they put a wood putty in the damaged place and a small notch right at it has been cut. This piece is SOLID. We have been selling on ebay for over 15 years with 100% Positive Feedback 1960's Mid Century Danish Modern Teak Sideboard& Display Cabinet by Dyrlund of Denmark Up for auction is this extremely well preserved Solid Teak and original mid century Danish Modern Sideboard and Separate Display Cabinet(Made in the 1960's by Dyrlund of Denmark) and inspired by the design of Nils Johnson. This is a larger piece. With the sideboard measuring 87" wide 32" tall and 18" deep. The Display Cabinet sets separately on top of the sideboard with the two notched legs or stands. The display section is 70" wide x 25" high and 12" deep. The overall unit with all pieces in place stands 87" wide x 57" tall x 18" deep. The teak design even follows through to the back of both pieces and is finished. The bottom ... moresideboard has 5 drawers(one felt lined) and two sliding teak front panels. As you can see in photo 1, when the two doors are snugged one to the other, the grain pattern matches when the two bottom doors are butted together. The glass doors and shelves of the display cabinet are perfect. There is no splintered or missing sections. There are light surface scratches mainly on the very top of the display cabinet which are hard to see in the photos, but I do show them in the last few photos. There is a scratch on the top of the sideboard which shows in the 2nd last photo. This item is located in my home in Clearwater, Florida for pickup. Large Johannes Andersen teak Mid Century Modern Danish Credenza/Sideboard. Finished all the way around- front and back. Measurements: LENGTH: 7 ft. 10.5 in. 240 cm) DEPTH: 19.69 in. 50 cm) HEIGHT: 33.46 in. 85 cm) The top has been refinished. There is slight bubbling of the veneer in the very middle. No bigger than a lemon- and only visible in the glare of sunlight. I can provide pics upon request. Many areas on the front that are imperfections; I photographed all issues, which are older teak oil tiny droplets(pics 3& 5) Some surfaces scratches as seen in pic 4. Pic 5 shows a lighter color strip on the left side of the drawers(looking at them) that is@ 5 inches wide and goes down the length of the drawers. At the top of pic 2 you can see a slight area of lighter wood color on the top of the left side tamboured door. All of the issues ... moreare very minor and hard to see, but please enlarge each photograph and check everything out to make sure you are happy with your purchase. After looking closer at the unit. It appears that the right side drawers(looking at it) have had some repair done to the ends where they wrap around the end of the unit. It is hard to tell, and I am not sure, but please look at and enlarge picture 6 for a close up of the drawer ends. The tamboured doors work nicely. The credenza features finely sculptured drawer pulls that wrap around each end of the unit. The left side of the open area has two removable and adjustable shelves that are the same size. The right side has two adjustable and removable shelves but the bottom shelf is recessed as you can see in pic 12. Four of the original shelf pins are missing- I used wood dowels in their place. Older Danish furniture uses larger shelf pins than are currently made. And I am trying to locate some to provide with this unit.
