Its clean lines will compliment a wide variety of decors, including neoclassical, English Georgian and French empire. It features a rouge marble top, crosshatch parquetry inlay, and neoclassical gilt bronze mounts including lion and goddess masks, rosettes, reed-and-tie molding, and shell and scrolling foliate motifs. It measures 46" wide, 50.25" tall and 18" deep. Interior measures 40.5" wide and 30" high, and is fitted with notched sides to accomodate two, original adjustable shelves. This cabinet dates from circa 1900. The rear panel is pierced with a handful of holes created to accomodate television and stereo cords. Each panel has a handful or more noticeable scuffs and chips to the parquetry, and the side panels appear to have been relacquered because these damages are not noticeable by touch. Each center door has a single stress crack. There are other minor chips here and there, and the gilt bronze molding on the left corner has separated from the frame. Mahogany wood, and Mahogany& Flame Mahogany Veneer, and it has a stylish medium/dark red/brown Mahogany stain finish, see pictures. This wonderful Server has rounded column-style legs. And it has dove-tailed drawers that are made out of solid wood on the inside, see pictures, that are working properly. This classic Server has antique Brass-finish handles on the drawers. Vintage full-flame Mahogany buffet/server made by Drexel for the Wallace Nutting Furniture Treasury collection. According to logo. This piece dates before 1968. Buffet has gorgeous inlaid design on both front-side of delicate bell flowers with a drop-twist and dot feature below as well as the same golden color edge trim around top-edge. Buffet has a serpentine drawer front with a bowed locking cabinet on each side. Key is included. Buffet rolls on 4 caster wheels. Top side flatware drawers. One on each side are felt lined and divided with a removable felt cover with leather pull tabs. Buffet is marked in drawer with the Drexel(pre-Drexel Heritage) logo on one side and a satin label"Wallace Nutting Furniture Treasury" ... moreon the other. Drexel Heritage was established in or near 1968. Buffet does have many small flaws that attribute to the affordable asking price. Please note- even with flaws. Buffet displays beautifully. Condition issues: two pieces of missing golden under-edge trim on front near center. Pieces are included. But has not been repaired. Repair to edge veneer right side. Small cracks in edge veneer. Small piece of veneer missing alongside a repair to veneer on base edge on left. Top surface shows small areas of wear to finish color as well as some deeper scratches and nicks. The piece measures 35" high x 48" wide x 15" deep and is in reasonably Good condition. RARE diminutive American Federal period server circa 1810. Probably made in Boston. Bow front and turned legs, after a Sheraton design. It measures 38.75 inches wide, 30.5 inches high, 19 inches deep at the sides and 21.5 inches deep at the center. It retains its original brasses. We had the secondary wood lab tested and found it to be white pine and beech, proving beyond any doubt its origin is American, not English. It measures 53-1/2 inches wide. Is 18-1/2 inches deep, and 41-3/4 inches high. It is solid mahogany with a lighter wood band inlay, and I believe it is in original finish. There is light scuffing and some scrapes on the top, the two front legs have some small pieces of inlay missing. The back is raise paneled and it has a wonderful patina. It is such an unusual design. Circa 1890 Beautiful mahogany wood Two drawers Missing key Top heavy Good overall condition Bow front shape, This is a small. Two drawer Victorian antique sideboard done in a rich mahogany wood. It was made in England around 1890 and today resides in our antique furniture store in Atlanta, GA. With a width of 40″ this little server can go in a number of places besides the dining room. It would be great in an entryway or at the end of a hallway with a nice mirror or painting above it. The mahogany wood has a great patina to it. Something ... morethat only happens with time. The finish is in great shape, being a waxed finish that is easily freshened up with furniture paste wax. You will notice some dark stains, a ring, and some surface marks to the top in the photos. These are normal for a piece of this age that has been used and serves to add character to the sideboard. We have rated this sideboard in good condition. Both of the drawers open and close easily and are made with hand cut dovetails. The left lock is broken and there is no key for either lock. While the four legs are connected with a stretcher. The sideboard is a little top heavy which gives it a slight wobble when pushed on. It is quite sturdy enough for everyday use with a large lamp on it, but would not withstand the weight of a person sitting on the edge of it.
