This is a charming diminutive bow front brandy server. The server is 43 inches wide. 34 inches high and 18 ¼ inches deep. It is made of mahogany and has string inlay. The secondary wood is chestnut. It is Federal in style but dates to around 1900. There are 3 drawers over 4 doors. The back of the drawers are dovetailed but the fronts are not due to the curved shapes of the drawer fronts. It is in very good condition. There is a spot on the trim on the left center door that has some a little bit of damage. There is a chip on the right door across from the damage. This fine 19th century piece offers early hand-cut dovetailed ends on the drawers. Powerful S scroll front shelf supports, ring turned back supports, a large crotch mahogany stretcher shelf and C scroll front feet. Its features beautiful classic lines of the Empire period. This grand 19th century piece measures 39 1/2 inches in height.48 inches wide and 25 inches deep and weighs approximately 130 lbs. Old. 19th C SOUTHERN HUNT BOARD in Mahogany. SOLID wood, absolutely NO Veneer. Back Board has lovely Serpentine shape SPLAYED legs(difficult to see this in pix) Beautifully Refinished 2 Drawers. OAK. Each drawer is missing part of the bottom panel. Nice and solid. Heavy for its size, but smaller than traditional side boards. SIZE: 32" long. 15" deep. 29 3/4" high. The mirror is in excellent condition with no breaks. Cracks, chips or freckles that I can see. The base has a beautiful marble top with a ¼ bevel edge on 3 sides. This buffet server has fluted trim and paneled sides and it sits on 4 porcelain casters. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. This piece is antique and will not be perfect.
