Its clean lines will compliment a wide variety of decors, including neoclassical, English Georgian and French empire. It features a rouge marble top, crosshatch parquetry inlay, and neoclassical gilt bronze mounts including lion and goddess masks, rosettes, reed-and-tie molding, and shell and scrolling foliate motifs. It measures 46" wide, 50.25" tall and 18" deep. Interior measures 40.5" wide and 30" high, and is fitted with notched sides to accomodate two, original adjustable shelves. This cabinet dates from circa 1900. The rear panel is pierced with a handful of holes created to accomodate television and stereo cords. Each panel has a handful or more noticeable scuffs and chips to the parquetry, and the side panels appear to have been relacquered because these damages are not noticeable by touch. Each center door has a single stress crack. There are other minor chips here and there, and the gilt bronze molding on the left corner has separated from the frame. Our client has professional restorers on site, and we will be glad to repair all chips and mounts prior to shipment. This table is currently offered for sale in our client's retail shop. For your consideration, this beautiful Classical Empire Revival Flame Mahogany Two Drawer Server/Table with Geometric Columns, Bottom Shelf and Back Splash(Circa: 1890) This lovely Server/Table weighs approximately 75 pounds and measures 41" in height, 40 ¼” in width, and 22 ¼” in depth. This piece in in excellent fully restored condition and the elegant details on it are fabulous! This beautiful Classical Empire Revival Flame Mahogany Server/Table is graced with two curved front flame mahogany dovetailed drawers with wooden knob pulls that provide some storage opportunity. Additional storage and display opportunity is found on the substantial bottom shelf. The handsome geometric front legs culminated into wonderful c-scroll feet that are absolutely elegant. Early 1970s cutting board and server is made from genuine Philippines mahogany wood, made by SCOOS in the Philippines. The sticker stating this is still affixed to the back which shows the fine quality and graining in the wood. The front of the board has been slightly used as shown with a few scratches but there are no deep gouges and if you know how to resand and refinish wood, you can make this like new. Board measures: 10" at widest point X 14" high X 3/4" deep. The wood itself is valuable. It is shaped like a subtle clover-leaf design and the top has attached to it a leather string for hanging. Use the board to cut cheeses, meats, etc. or simply hang as kitchen art. Here is an absolutely gorgeous late 19th century Scottish mahogany sideboard with shield back decorative mantle and lovely doors. Top surface and side panels. This wonderful circa 1870-1880's Victorian buffet has ample storage with it's three large drawers and open cabinet space below, including fittings for several additional drawers in the far left cabinet as shown. Recently imported from the UK through Edinburgh, Scotland this terrific oversize mahogany cabinet is a real find, particularly in such nice original condition. This sideboard stands 69 inches wide by 26 1/2 inches front to back. Measuring 50 inches tall to the top of the removable mantle with carved shield back wood decorative and with a work surface height of 38 3/4 inches tall. The two large outer drawers are each 16 1/2 inches wide by 20 1/2 inches front to back by ... more2 inches deep while the center drawer is 27 inches wide by 19 1/2 inches front to back by 2 inches deep. The two outer lower cabinet offer space behind the lovely doors 17 1/4 inches wide by 26 inches tall. On the far left there are two shelves within their fittings, each 16 1/2 wide by 19 1/2 inches front to back by 3 1/2 inches deep, with about 15 inches tall by 20 inches front to back open space below. On the right side, this space is simply divided in two by one fixed shelf that creates space 14 1/4 inch wide by 20 inches front to back with 11 inches clearance above the shelf and 14 1/2 inches clearance below the shelf above the base of the cabinet. The interior of the large central cabinet with it's lovely paneled back is 28 inches wide by 18 inches front to back and also 26 inches tall, with one removable shelf which can be used to divide the cabinet space or not. Four at the front, two at the back. The top is cross-banded and has tramline edging. It has inlaid detailing around the top and the cupboard and drawer fronts. Offered for sale is a Stunning Ethan Allen 18th Century Mahogany Collection Hepplewhite Sideboard. This sideboard is made of beautiful solid mahogany with selected mahogany and satinwood veneers for aesthetic enhancement. The sideboard features a satinwood banded top and front with two doors. Two drawers, a serpentine curved front and spade feet. The drawers feature a locking top drawer with a felt-lined silverware insert and the second drawer has a removable divider and felt(removable) bottom. The sideboard is item# 22-6406 in the#250 finish and was manufactured in December 1990. It can be found on page#197 of the 90th edition Ethan Allen Treasury of American Home Interiors catalog. Ethan Allen describes their"18th Century Mahogany" collection as: Capturing the grandeur of the 18th Century masters. Each piece in this gleaming mahogany ... morecollection has depth and richness. It's a look of timeless elegance enhanced by superb detailing: contrasting borders, beveled glass and hand-carved touches. This mahogany sideboard measures 56" wide x 19" deep x 38" high. Overall the piece is in excellent condition with the following exceptions: There is a scratch on the front leg(see pic# 10) and there is a small area of light residue(tape/wax build up? on the front of the drawer(see pic#11) which may come off easily but I didn't try. Also. There appears to have been some sun exposure to the front that lightened the finish in areas and the serpentine front apron and drawers have very, very faint ridges. I am no expert so I don't know how to describe this but I see it in antique furniture, so maybe it is referred to as patina? This furniture item was hand constructed by my great-great-great grand father. Amasa Gleason who lived in Half Moon Township- near Syracuse, New York. The purpose of its design was to hide the spirits within from prying eyes of children and adults who might frequent the family home and might disapprove of his intemperate habit of keeping spirits in his home for even infrequent consumption. Being a stanch Methodist community, this would be frowned upon. The WCTU would also have a few comments on this. This cabinet has been passed down to me. A member of the 13th generation of the Gleason family in America. I can trace the lineage of it from Amasa to his son George, to his son Howard, to his son Delbert, to his son Allyn, to his son(me) Amasa"removed" from Half Moon Township to Winona, Minnesota, and became a dairy farmer. His grandson(my ... moregrandfather) Delbert, had a dairy in Ridgeway, Minnesota, just outside Winona. He also had an orchestra: Del Gleason and his Orchestra, playing modern and old time music; featuring Della Newman and her Accordian" ran the banner. draft a sea-story like that one up, will ya- I have the original poster! There's the provinence of this cabinet and it's origin. It measures 33.5" high; 25.5" wide. And 16.5" deep. It has cut-outs on the shelves for various shapes and sizes of cordials and stemware, which are included. Most of them do not match the cut-outs or each other, but a few of them do. There is ample room for storage of bottles and decanters throughout the two levels of the cabinet. A simply gorgeous late Chippendale style diminutive serpentine sideboard server/ buffet circa 1910. This is an extremely high end custom made centennial reproduction with 100 years of age. Fully veneered in bookmatched crotch mahogany and inlaid with shells and tulips; with contrasting satinwood edgebanding. It has always been kept indoors. There is absolutely no fading of the rich wood colors. It is approximately 33 inches high. 18 3/4 inches deep, and 42 inches wide, and is in excellent overall condition with the original finish intact. As you can see in the pictures a hot pan was placed on the right side at some time in the past and wrinkled the finish before being quickly removed. I would recommend the top only be refinished. Otherwise I will gently clean it, give it a dusting and a coat of paste wax and it will be ready to enjoy for ... moreanother 100 years. I would prefer that this sideboard be picked up.
