Late 1800's/early 1900's Cherry Server from east United States; original
Up for auction is a antique one drawer cherry server from the east U.S. A very nice original piece; hard to find these original old pieces in good shape. This is a true server- used in dining rooms in the old days. I have had this in my dining room and never really used it for it's purpose. And I'm moving some furniture on. The pictures are pretty accurate as far as the"color" of the piece. This is not painted; just the original finish(shellac/lacquer? not varnish, though. Nice turned legs, square nails, old construction. Chamfered drawer. There has been one(old) repair: picture#8(the last one) shows a repair made to the bottom scalloped piece, this is in the left front(if you were facing the front) and a very small piece in the right hand side of that repair that is chipped out. Not that noticeable or detracting from the ... morepiece. The measurements for this piece: Width(including side pieces) 26-7/8" Height 32.25" tall total; 29" from the floor to top of flat top piece; drawer is 22-1/8" wide, total depth is 18" from floor to top of bottom scalloped piece 9-1/8" This will need to be picked up. The server has a Queen Anne style base cabinet with 6 drawers. The bottom three drawer fronts have an inlaid design on them that is stunning and the three upper drawers have a rectangular inlaid design as well. Handmade Ceramic Cherry Pie Plate Server with Cover
Up for bid is this pie plate server. There are two pieces. The bottom piece is 8 inches in diameter on the bottom and 9 inches in diameter at the top. It does look like a pie crust(darker brown than in the picture) with the fancy edges. Has five slits to show cherries, a knob handle on the top looks like a cherry. The item is homemade and looks great just sitting on the counter or table even without a pie. This plate has never had a pie in it. It is in good condition. c1920 Cherry Pennsylvania House? Table, chairs, Buffet, Server, China Cabinet
I will be listing 4 lots of furniture this week from a local estate. 3 are antique or vintage. 1 is modern. Furniture is big and heavy so"Pickup Only" If you are wealthy and want to pay someone to come pack it and ship, that would be fine, just no way for us to do it. If you live locally we may be able to arrange a time for the owner to meet you and show it to you, if convenient for all. The items are in Washington, Pennsylvania, about 20 miles southwest of Pittsburgh, 40 miles north of Morgantown WV, 30 miles east of wheeling WV, and about 150 miles from Columbus or Cleveland Ohio. The house has been slowly packed up and belongings removed. So things have been moved around to get items and belongings packed and out. That is why I have no photos showing all the pieces together. The table is in the garage right now and surrounded ... morewith stuff, so I could not get photos of the extensions in open position, but it has not been in there for long, so no worries about moisture warping and such. The table and all other items are solid cherry, and very hefty. We think they are Pennsylvania House brand but could be wrong, we looked for a long time and found no stickers or labels or markings. The table in its current configuration measures 64x42 and 30 inches tall. The extensions are 18' each so we think it would be 100 inches long when out. We think this is"Colonial" style because there is no glass in the doors of the china cabinet, for instance. The buffet desk is 64x19 and 42 tall. One knob is not in place. We found the knob in a drawer, seems to be missing a screw, so may need minor repair to reattach that knob. You can see that the little round pieces that make the front feet round came loose but are in a drawer and ready to be reglued. The china cabinet is lovely. 72" tall, 21 deep, 37 wide. One drawer pull knob is loose but present for reattachment. I am told the little piece is called a server. It measures 42x18 and 34" tall. There were originally 6 chairs but one was lost long ago. S

Vintage Antique Cherry Wood Buffet Server / Sideboard circa 1920's
This unique solid wood sideboard/ buffet was made in Brooklyn. New York in the mid to late 1920’s and owned by my Grandmother, who passed it on to me. The piece has an unusual design and is in great condition considering its use and age. The sideboard measures 40" wide by 39" tall by 20" deep and it has one long drawer. The height of the backsplash from the table top is 6" There is some finish loss and the top shows some wear but it can easily be restored to its original beauty. Please email for pickup appointment. Vintage Drexel Server Side Board Buffet Wood Cherry
This antique Drexel server is made of cherry. The top drawer pulls all the way out. And is actually a serving tray. Underneath the tray are two separate drawers- one is divided for silverware, and the third drawer down is one long drawer. Underneath the long drawer is cabinet space. The drawer pulls are very unique, with flowers etched into the brass. This server was not gently used. As you can see from the photos, there is some damage to the bottom part that sits on the floor, which has been stained over. The top has some light wear, to be expected for it's age. Still, it has a very beautiful patina. The dimensions are 36" wide, 19" deep, and 33" tall.
