Drawer pulls and key locks that had rusted off and were replaced from restoration hardware. This beautiful piece comes in 3 parts. The decorative top rail lifts off. Antique 19th c. French Provincial Carved Pine & White Oak Large Sideboard Buffet
Selling a beautiful antique French Provincial side board with wood/glass upper displays(you are buying the entire piece as shown) We recently purchased several large pieces from a local winery that is changing ownership and renovating their tasting room. All of the pieces were originally brought in at a great expense from France to showcase wine. While we love this piece. It is too large for our small shop and we are selling it. It is currently being used to display some of our antique porcelains. This is a very large and intricately carved sideboard/cabinet. It was made in two pieces- upper and lower half due to the large overall size. It is made of pine and white oak with beautiful carvings throughout. It dates to about 1880. The height of the piece is 90" at the tallest part and 84" at the shorter sides. The overall width is ... more84" The middle section is 23" deep and the sides are 18" deep. The holes next to the knobs on the bottom are where the locks have been removed but these will be put back in for the buyer. The top of the cabinet(glass uppers) have also been wired for lighting. The overall condition is excellent. There are minor scratches etc. in places as is normal for a provincial piece of this age. All doors. Hinges etc. are excellent and glass is all intact. This is an original Arts& Crafts sideboard. Made by the famous Stickley Brothers workshop in Grand Rapids, MI. A beautiful solid Oak Antique HUTCH Highboy cabinet sideboard buffet w/ drawers and shelf. And mirror backboard. In EXCELLENT shape for age, I can't see any scuffs or scratches. The only thing I can see is the top board seam has a slight separation probably easily fixed and one drawer needs some glue at the dovetail connection. Drawers are all dovetail. I was told by the Antique shop(India St. Antiques in San Diego) that I bought this from years ago. This is a English made, Edwardian in style sideboard/buffet made arouns 1900-1911. It is solid oak and very sturdy with dove tailed drawers. One drawer is lined and set up for silverware. Silverware not included. It is 48" long, 18 1/2" deep and 38 1/4" tall. I put down Spanish/ Mexican Hacienda in my heading as is looks very good in my old 1929 Spanish cottage style house. I am selling it because I am switching over to Mid Century Modern. A lovely form, hand dovetailed drawers and detailed carving on all edges and trim including dentition on three sides around the top. It has small cabinets behind the ornately carved dragon doors in the hutch section as well as display shelves, and has drawers across the top with more open cabinet space below in the base section, which is where you see the traditionally older construction front to back planking across the bottom. Vintage Antique Oak Sideboard Buffet Cabinet China Hutch N1732 original finish
This is a very nice Antique that has been in the family for around 100 years. It measures 59 1/2 inches long X 21 1/2 inches deep X 39 1/2 inches high in the front and 61 inches high in the back. I do not know the manufacturer but it has the number N1732 stamped on the back. The oak wood has never been refinished and is all original. It is in excellent condition for its age with only a few repairable items: the small right side mirror has a small crack. One of the front wheels is bent and it has a small wood chip on the left side. May be picked up locally or freight arranged by the buyer after the sale is complete.

It has two curved-front drawers above two panelled doors with ... moreelaborate carving. The doors open to reveal a large storage area, with a central fixed shelf. The doors of the cabinet are flanked by turned columns, surmounted by lion's heads. I imagine there would originally have been large metal loops in the lions' mouths, easily replaced if desired. The cupboard retains it's original handles and locks, and stands on squat bun feet. The cupboard measures 120cm wide. 55.5cm deep and 105cm high. It has many practical purposes, but wouldst certainly be ideal in size and height as a television cabinet or stand. The piece is in lovely vintage condition. With some chipping to the turned sections on the columns and separation of timbers on the top surface being the only real condition issues to mention. It has a small loss of silver in the bottom right corner about 1/4" wide. Not noticeable if you have items on the top, but I want to mention every flaw I see. Please see picture# 11. The mirror sits on the top of the buffet and the crown has pegs that it drops into on the very top shelf. There are a few scratches on the top(I think from the mirror being placed on the sideboard) I tried to photograph them in picture#12. I haven't tried to cover them with a color crayon. You are bidding on a rare antique oak sideboard from the Stickley Bros. furniture workshop in Grand Rapids. Michigan. The Stickley Museum dates the decal on the back to 1902. The Grand Rapids workshop stopped making this style of furniture around 1910, making this piece over 100 years old, and in great condition for its age. Here is an oversize antique heavy dark quartersawn oak sideboard with parquet panel design doors on the lower cabinet and a removable back splash or decorative back mantle. Providing a second decorating option for use this sideboard as just the lower cabinet and work surface- perfect perhaps for use as a sturdy decorative very large flat screen TV stand with it's 70 inch length and 37 1/4 inch surface height. With the back mantle in place this sideboard stands 56 inches tall by it's 70 inches long by 24 inches deep, front to back. It travels in two pieces- the large base cabinet which measures 37 1/4 inches tall by 70 inches long by 24 inches front to back and second, the wood back piece with beveled mirror and wood applique measures 18 3/4 inches tall by 2 inches front to back by 70 inches long. Antique Mission Oak Server/Buffet/Sideboard w/Mirror. Beautiful antique Mission oak server/buffet/sideboard with mirrored back splash in great condition. Does have a couple of places on top where the veneer has slight damage due to age and wear. Mirror has a couple of spots where silver is off slightly. Antique Tiger Oak Buffet Sideboard 19th Century Beautiful!!!
This is the most beautiful Antique Sideboard Buffet I've ever seen. It's made from tiger oak wood and it is in superb condition.
