Condition: Used Location: Spring City, United States Wonderful antique buffet sideboard. This is a true quality item! Superbly made and exceptionally heavy! Measures 72 inches across. Depth 23 inches across ... morefront marble. Mirror top to marble base. 26 inches. 46 inches from floor to marble base. Interior side shelves measure 17 inches long and 7 1/2 inches wide. 2 side doors swing out to the side. Main body interior is 16 inches deep by 48 inches long by 30 inches tall. 2 front drawers with two side drawers. Swing out to the side as shown! Solid oak everywhere! Even the drawer linings. Draw sides and back are all oak and not an inferior wood. The interior is all oak. The doors lock but I have lost the key! Currently all the doors are unlocked! Inside at the back somebody cut a hole out. Not sure why that was done but it is there! The only newish part is an interior shelf which is in the main body. I believe it is still solid oak but it lacks the patina of the original. The glass is not damaged anywhere. The marble has exquisite shading and color. With pink, grey and purple variations. It has light scratches on the top and minor tiny chips on the edge as expected for a piece this age. It is not broken anywhere! The carvings are so wonderful with urns. Horns, ribbons, roses, tassels, swags and leaves. Both front panels have cracks on the decoration as seen in the photographs. Very reluctantly for sale! Local pick up preferred but we will work with your shipper or we can get you a quote from a company we use. Coast to coast is probably around $400 to $500 dollars. Non smoking home. Beautiful Antique Sideboard (Circa 1880s), Empire Style QuarterSawn Tiger Oak
This beautiful Empire style sideboard was recently re-finished to expose its wonderful Quarter-Sawn(Tiger Oak)grain with a light golden oak stain and lacquer finish for a satin feel. Purchased in 1993 from a local owner and used in my family for 20 years. It has the original key(locks work) And the original wheels on feet. The mirror has the original silvering, and does have some minor small flaws but only in the edges. Measurements: Cabinet: 22" deep, 56" wide and 38" tall(with the wheels) Mirror is 6" deep, 56" wide and 17/12" tall. Given the size of this piece it(weighs over 100 hundred pounds) shipping by truck or local pickup are only options- we can discuss options once purchased

Circa 1810. This transitional dresser which originates from the counties of Shropshire/ Staffordshire, is constructed in an unusual and rare design and boasts a lovely mellow original golden oak colour. The dresser base features four narrow spice drawers above a single piece oak top, which is finished off with a double moulded lip. To the centre of the dresser, there an unusual arched dome door, which is flanked by two large drawers. The arched door boasts a working lock and key and features its original brass knob. The drawers have been finished with cock beading to the perimeter and have been constructed using the traditional hand dovetail method with pine drawer linings. There is a door at each end with 2 drawers in the middle. Those two drawers consist of a large deep drawer and a smaller drawer at the top. The door on the right needs to be rehung. There are 3 beveled edged mirrors on the top. The middle mirror is stationary. The mirrors on each side of the middle mirror can be tilted inward. Antique Art Deco Buffet This is a gorgeous. Antique piece of furniture. It could be called by many names and serve a variety of purposes: hutch, bar, sideboard, buffet, credenza, server or china cabinet. Whatever you call it, it is a lovely piece of furniture. The previous owner stated that she acquired this from Europe, specifically England. The only marking is"220" in chalk on the back. The buffet appears to be composed of tiger oak. With a medium-tone finish. The wood features carved ornamentation of fruit and foliage, a motif very popular during the Art Nouveau period from 1910-1930. The surface of the buffet has a marble top that is red in color with gray veining. There is a beveled mirror on the recessed portion of the top section of the buffet. Antique Arts & Crafts Mission Oak Buffet Sideboard With Mirror and Hidden Drawer
Up for auction is a very nice Antique Mission Oak Arts& Crafts Sideboard/Buffet. It is solid oak- very sturdy and very heavy. The mirror/shelf can be detached and it can be used as a server without the mirror if you like. It is in great shape for furniture of this age but it does have some rings on the surface(see 3rd photo- the picture makes them look worse than they are- nothing a quick surface refinishing wouldn't fix) I guestimate this is around 100 years old. It has all original hardware. Mirror, and a key as seen in the photos. Otherwise there is absolutely no damage or breaks or cracks, and all hardware is original brass, that definitely needs to be polished to look brass again, incredible for a piece from 1885. The description as read on an 1980 appraisal of actual value,NOT INSURANCE, reads as follows. Buffet, oak, American, circa 1850s-80s, 92"wide, 36"high, 19"deep, brass hardware, 5 top drawers, pretty large some with dividers for silverware, etc. and 5 doors. This is an exceptional American made oak sideboard dating to the 1890-1910 Late Victorian period. The flowing form and fine details set this one apart from so many that I have seen over the years. A deep. Arched hooded top is supported by two large(22"tall) highly carved winged griffins and backed with a large, curving bevelled mirror that is in excellent condition. The base has large pawed feet and even a center wine drawer between the two doors which is seldom found. Every surface is quarter sawn tiger oak and there is no damage. It was professionally refinished about 15 years ago and has been extremely well cared for. Even the interior surfaces were refinished to detail-which is so unusual. Extremely sturdy. I have had this in my home for over 20 years and have always loved the great form and tall counter height(43" including the 1-3/4" removable wooden casters on the feet) which is seldom found. I don't know the manufacturer and can find no label on it but judging from the quality of the cabinet and the hardware it could be Stickley. Limbert, or another comparable maker from the very early 1900's. All solid quarter sawn tiger oak throughout. No breaks or repairs. Nice original finish with only normal light surface wear. There is one pull missing on the bottom drawer. Measurements are 58" long. 57-1/4" tall to the top of the mirror, 43" height to the counter top, and 22-1/2" deep. ANTIQUE TIGER OAK SIDEBOARD WITH CARVED GRIFFIN HEADS AND PAWS
This beautiful oak sideboard is a focal point in any room. It is in excellent condition for its age(approx late 1800s to early 1900s) with intricate carvings. Trim and a beveled mirror. The griffin heads blend into tails along the side of the mirror. The heads on the front legs blend into the paws. This is an original piece, not a reproduction. The tiger oak is stunning and the finish is beautiful. It was made in the USA in Easton, MD. It has good storage with 3 small drawers, 1 large drawer and 2 cabinets. The drawers slide easily. There are keyholes in the drawers, but no key. It measures 39 1/4" tall from floor to top of sideboard. 57 1/2" to top of mirror. It is 47 1/2" wide and 22" deep. Swedish 1900 Antique Carved Oak Sideboard Server. Leather Doors. A splendid sideboard or server was lavishly hand carved in Sweden in the early 1900's. Solid fine grained oak. The top has been revarnished for durability and stain resistance. The rest of the finish is original and has been waxed and buffed, so all that is needed to maintain its warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. Center doors have original leather with brass studs. A key works brass locks in all the doors. Drawers have original oak knobs and dovetailed joints. Antique Early American Oak Dining Room Set Table Chairs Buffet Sideboard & Hutch
Being offered for sale. Is an early American oak dining room furniture set. The set is comprised of a dining table. 6 chairs, a sideboard/ buffet, and a hutch. Below is more detailed information as it pertains to each piece: Table: There is a maker's mark on the inside of the table which reads. B. Walter& Co. Inc. U.S. Patent No. 1736533 26229 Wabash, Indiana. I did not find a maker's mark on the sideboard or hutch so I can't say for sure if they came from the same manufacturer. The top of the table just lifts off. Perhaps was secured at some point. Would be simple to re-secure. Just a few nails/ screws. There are 2 hidden leafs on each side of the table. They pull out and raise up, or push down and retract into the table's body. With the leafs retracted into the body the table measures approximately 62" long, 38" ... morewide, and 30 1/2" tall. Each leaf adds another 17" in length to the table. Which means it can be made to extend up to 96" 8 ft in length. Chairs: There are a total of 6 chairs. One of the chairs has significant damage(broken dowel) Which the rest have light- moderate wear. Structurally, 5 out of the 6 of them are fine. The seats definitely need to be replaced/ re-fabricated though. One of the six chairs is a captain's chair. Sideboard: The sideboard measures approximately 66" wide. 36" tall, and 20" from front to back. It has ornate scrolling on it which matches that of the designs on the hutch. There is a light crack on the front right corner(can be seen in the photos) The doors stick a little bit and could be adjusted slightly. Hutch: The hutch measures approximately 62" tall. 38 wide, and 17" from front to back. The original handles are missing for the drawer on the bottom portion so I put a couple of pulls in their place. It measures 6 feet wide, 9.5 feet high and 16.5 inches deep. It features a shelved superstructure above rectangular surface fitted with 2 drawers on turned supports. The top is flat with a molded cornice, and the valance features a unique pierced interloop carved motif. Four grooved plate shelves. Lower section has a molded edge top over two half-width frieze drawers with old brasses which are not original. This section has a valanced apron on three baluster posts over a base shelf supported by block feet. Brasses are no original. The looping design of the frieze and the pierced apron are characteristic of dressers from the county ... moreof Shropshire in the West Midlands, just east of Wales.
