Up for auction is an antique oak( buffet. I was told that it is over 100 years old. It has a mirror and two carved lion heads and a carved angel's( face. This belonged to a lady I used to work for. When she passed away a few months ago. Her daughter asked me to help her sell some of her mother's things. Her mother took good care of this piece of furniture. This is a piece that I used for a Mantle Top to my rock fireplace. It was a top piece from an Antique Buffet. I have replaced the rock stuff and purchased a different mantle. Therefore, this piece is available for someone else to love. It has a really small China cabinet on top(mirror on back) With mirrors on each side and bottom. Carved oak tops, We put a solid piece of Oak for the mantle shelf. I paid more for it 20 years ago and then altered it. I just don't have the room for it any more. What could you use it for? This is an amazing very heavily carved Sever. It was made in England circa 1880. To the back and base there are carved faces maybe family relatives,to the base there are 3 drawers for some reason there are no handles you open them from underneath with your finger there is a secret hole, this could be for safety children opening. The center of the base they call this a dog kennel and either side there are doors. The top comes of the base so its easy to transport. To the top either side there are very heavily carved fish aboce there is a gallery with turned small pillars. Great piece I don`t think you will ever see another one. Measurements are 75 wide.82 high, 23 deep.

This is a superb solid pollard oak server made in England circa 1880. It has all the original beveled mirrors to the back. The condition is very good. There are 4 doors to the bottom and 3 drawers to the top. The only thing I can see is missing is one drop from the brass handles. Measurements are 78 wide 26 deep 90 high. This is a beautiful piece that offers wonderful storage with its large drawers and cabinets and features its original original brass hardware. Original mirror back and its old original finish with period dove-tailed joinery on the drawers. This sideboard measures 59 1/2 inches in height to the top of the gallery at the back. Total height to the top of the base measures 38 inches, total width of 54 inches, total depth of 24 inches and weighs approximately 150 lbs and does dis-assemble into 2 pieces for easier handling during shipping and moving. Mechelen style Cabinet or Hutch in what appears to be dark oak with leaded stained glass featuring griffens. I am told it likely dates to the late 1800's. I do not know if it is Mechelen or Mechelen Style so I am being cautious. This cabinet is in good condition for it's age. It has a slight crack in the glass the glass is not broken. There is a 2 inch hold cut into the top of this piece that the previous owner used to install a light. When I purchased this set 8 years ago, I was told this was quarter sawn oak, but I can't confirm this(maybe you can tell by the pictures) The table is 5 feet long by 38 inches wide(two leaves retract under the main table) When the table is expanded it is 91 inches long. This is in good condition with wear for a dining room set of this age. One leaf will need minor adjustments to the retracting mechanism.

For sale is an Arts and Craft server. Buffet or side board. I beleive it is tiger oak. Needs TLC. on the bottom drawer. It is very tight and hard to open and close.Bottom of drawer is bowed, And dovetail needs to be glued.Last owner had cook books in it. One pull knob has a break. Wood and mirror have signs of age. Could be a stickley but I can find no markings.No doubt it is from the. Arts and Craft period. Has the Pantry or china cabinet display sides. Perfect for a store display case or Diningroom. Please look at photo's and ask questions. It does need TLC but price is set accordingly. With some work this could easily be an $1.800 cabinet.
