This piece has gorgeous grain and still retains its original DARK finish. Has two smaller drawers across the top and one large drawer across the middle. And cabinet with two doors below- all with original wooden knobs. Columns/pillars on either side of the mirror. It is in very good/excellent condition with some normal wear on the feet. Some small scuffs on the top(nothing major- the worst is shown) small nicks and scratches here and there, and the cabinet doors each need a latch. Otherwise great with maybe some dust. It's not too bad but as expected, you'd probably want to clean it to your liking before using it. The drawers have keyholes/key holes. I might have the ... morekey lying around- will have to check. Antique Walnut Wood & Beveled Mirror For Buffet Dresser Mantle Sideboard
Very nice vintage or antique mirror that looks as though it came from a buffet. Sideboard cupboard, or a mantle. This is a very heavy item. The wood frame is a dark wood and looks like walnut but could be oak. The top of the mirror comes to a swirled point and then into a square. The back is put together with nails and wavy staples. There was new picture wire hanger that was added to the mirror when I purchased it but I removed it. that is why there are two holes on each side. There are no markings or numbers on the mirror. Measures 27-1/4"L x 17"H x 3/4" thick. The mirror is beveled around the edges and does have dark silvery spots in places. Antique tiger oak beveled serpentine mirror carved griffins buffet / sideboard
Here is a fantastic tiger oak buffet/ sideboard with fully carved griffins at the ends of the beveled serpentine mirror. Its ALL original. My grandparents had this when it was new. It has been in my family since day one. Im the last one to have it and its time to let it go. It has been refinished only ONCE. Just re varnished about 30+ ago. Very clean inside and out. No stains, Drawers slide easily! The buffet measures 48 in wide. 24 in deep, and 56 in to top of mirror. 40 in to top of buffet, mirror is almost 17 in tall itself, the serpentine mirror is 3.5 in deep itself and the fully carved griffins are 9.5 in tall and 2.5 in thick. The only things missing are the key to the drawers and some of the metal tab stoppers for the drawers but they can be replaced. The feet are carved lion paws with the wood wheel casters. The back of the mirror ... morehas the number 613 painted on back. Which is probably the model number and the words Doll Class, which may mean the grade of quality of the piece. Its an excellent quality buffet. ALL the tiger oak veneer is present and in excellent condition, This piece needs no work and the mirror is screwed to the buffet with 10 wood screws( it comes off for easy moving) ONLY the bottom linen drawer needed to be re glued& re nailed, the linens were very heavy. The buffet is made from solid hard wood with a wood veneer front, and has a beautiful chevron pattern on the veneer, v ery unique. There are five storage compartments in the piece. Two on each end and three in the middle of the piece, each compartment can be locked and comes with a vintage skeleton key. The buffet is finished on top with a scalloped piece of WHITE marble. The marble top does have a crack in it. But it is still in great condition. Overall, this piece is in very good vintage condition. The buffet can also be used as an AWESOME-bar front. Painted Chic B&W Antique Dresser with Mirror or Baby Changing Dresser / Buffet
This is one of our lovely custom pieces. It is a unique one of a kind piece that can be used as a dresser. Buffet, or baby changing dresser and then converted back to a bedroom dresser or buffet. The 4 drawers are embossed in a multilayer pattern and trimmed out beautifully with a black and ivory urns and a floral pattern in the center. It has vintage painted pulls. The insides of the drawers are also painted inside and out by hand in a cottage white paint as safe for babies as possible and sealed. The drawers are waxed for easy gliding. The top is done in an embossed flowing floral pattern and trimmed out in an 8 layer edging and the sides are done in a striped corduroy pattern. It has a wonderful mirror that is original to the piece. If used as a baby station we will include the baby changing box that can be attached in place of the mirror ... moreand then the mirror can be reattached when ready. The actual dimensions of the dresser and mirror are 48 in length, the size of the mirror is 35.5 tall, the dresser base is 34.5 tall and it is 20 1/4 deep. Please contact before bidding. The only thing I can see is the top board seam has a slight separation probably easily fixed and one drawer needs some glue at the dovetail connection. Drawers are all dovetail. Its a beautiful decorative mission? country style solid piece of furniture and looks much better in person. They just don't make furniture like this anymore or to stand the test of time. Buffet, or mantel. A carved wood frame featuring a decorative scrolled finial with beaded medallion at top center. The corners were once decorated with gesso flower appliques. The two right corners are now without these while the left corners still have partial appliques remaining. The two outside mirror panels have floral etchings around the top. The outside mirrors also have some light streak hazing in the silvering. There is a small shallow 1/2" sliver out of the inner border over top right mirror. This probably dates to the 1930’s and was used above a Buffet or Mantel. The Prints are scenic on either side of the Mirror. The art is signed by E. Artus. Please note: Because of so many reflections on a large piece. One of the pictures was taken outside and has reflections of the yard with patio furniture and trees in the center while the other one has white cardboard held up and it does not look like a mirror in the center. This piece has an art print on each side of the mirror. The frame and art are original. Lovely designs in the Gesso, glass over the art, filigree metal corners to hold the mirror securely in each corner, original twisted wire hanger on the backside. Antique Victorian Etched Buffet Mirror
You are bidding on an incredible three panel antique buffet mirror. The detail is just exquisite. From Cincinatti Ohio by the famous Neuer Glass Company. Piece Number is 8309. From what I've researched appears to be from the early 1900's. This piece would have only been owned by the elite in society during this period. This is a rare and great designer piece. I cannot ship this mirror unfortunately. So it is pick up only. Way to delicate to ship and break. There is a bit of minor clouding due to age, but it is just amazing displayed on the wall or resting on a piece of furniture or could even be hung behind a bar. This Buffet belonged to my wife's Great Great Grand Father. Who came to Stillwater Oklahoma in 1888 just before the landrun. His name was Jim Johns he helped with the founding of Stillwater and had the third business in Stillwater. Jim Johns Livery and Auctioneer. He was also the first Justice of the Peace in Stillwater and ran for two terms. After settling in Stillwater he bought his Furniture from helmers and had it shipped here, which shoud have been between 1890-1900. We also have all of the documentation to prove when he came to Stillwater, we have all of his property tax receipts. Because of the size and weight it is listed as local pick up only, but if someone wants it we can make arrangements for shipping at your expence. Beautiful one-of-a-kind 5 foot antique mirror. Measures 61" tall x 40" wide x 3" deep. The family this came from dated it back to the 1850's from a Southern Plantation. This mirror would look beautiful as a floor standing dressing mirror. Hung on a wall in a library, stately dining room, above a mantle in a parlor, above a buffet, or dresser, or any other place in your home where you are ready to make a statement in your decor. Antique Vintage Serpentine Mahogany 12 Drawer Dresser Mirror Bow Front Buffet
Hi this is a great matching mahogany 12 drawer serpentine dresser and mirror in very good used condition. The mirror is a wall mounted mirror and does not attach to the dresser. I am willing to sell the mirror separately for the right price. The dresser is wonderful with a platform base and symmetrical sides with very cool curves. The dresser measures 60 1/4" long 20" deep and 33 1/2" tall. The top is 1 3/8" thick. The side drawers are 19" wide internally and graduated heights. The top is 3" then they get taller by an inch as you go down 4" 5" and 6" on the bottom. The mirror has no chips cracks or breaks and the silver is good and even throughout and it measures approximately 52" by 33 3/4" I am selling this for a friend who has had this in the family a long time and never mounted the ... moremirror over the dresser. The stain on the mirror is a bit darker than the dresser as I believe it was not used and in storage most of the time. The center mirror is 24" x 15 3/4" sides are 11 1/2" x 12" This will be shipped in a wood crate and cost is included in shipping. No identifying markings. The reflective backing[probably silver or mercury] has one dark streak on a left panel-1/2" in on the right edge. A few black blemishes around some outsides. Also a wash/shadow look in some areas. The individual mirror section buttons are removable enabling the repair process. There is small frame damage in three places. On the bottom/center is a 3/4" repaired area.
