It was likely made in the early 1900's. Made of oak. And has a spooncarved front. There are no identifying markings. It is in excellent shape and it has the original finish. Brass fittings show a bit of tarnish but should clean up easily with a little TLC. Three of the posts on the brass rail at the top are loose but can be easily secured with a little bit of attention. One of the rail ends is stripped so that will need to be secured as well. Otherwise this piece is ready for your home. I would be happy to provide more detailed photos if requested. I hate to part with such a beautiful and unique item but we no longer have the room and it just doesn't fit our decor. The dimensions are 40 1/2” tall its tallest point. 33 1/2“ wide at its widest point at the base, and 19” deep when closed,and 34“ deep when opened. Local pickup only.

8 Vintage Cast Brass People's Feet Embellishments Clock Furniture Box Jewelry
Please note that I will be listing two separate 8 piece lots of these feet today. This is a very cool looking lot of 8 vintage cast brass decorative furniture. Clock, box or jewelry embellishments in the shape of people's feet. Sometimes they are also referred to as adornments. Trim mounts or findings. I'm not exactly sure how old they are. But they have great age. They each measure 5/8 inches across and deep. And just under 5/8 inches high(1.6 cm) A few have small amounts of tarnish on them. A testament to their age. I haven't touched them. As they each have a wonderful old patina. Together. They weigh 1.4 ounces(38 g)

This is an original example of the 1953 Van Kepple Green of California furniture catalog! 25 pages of photos and information on their entire line of design for indoor and outdoor living in 1950. Over 100 items pictured and described. It also comes with the 4-page 1953 pricelist! Hendrik Van Keppel and Taylor Green were both born in California in 1914. In the 1930's. While living in San Francisco, Van Keppel created a prototype of his indoor/outdoor furniture made of scrap iron wrapped with marine cord. I am moving along on these letterhead/invoices of Rev Lewis' from the 1920's in in Kinston. Some are getting reactions but I have no idea which might be sought after. These 3 are from the Oettinger family furniture business. The 1927 invoice calls it the Furniture Store and the 1929 invoice calls it Oettinger Bros so this must have been a transition period. i do not know if the brothers were David and Sol and Abe or others. I know when I typed in Oettinger on Ebay what came up were all naked/ body building men and none were from Kinston! I welcome your questions and thank you for your interest. Vintage Rattan Salesman's Sample Furniture Set Tiki Hawaiian Mid-Century
This is a very special 40's to 50's vintage rattan salesman sample set that consists of a 3 piece sofa. 2 club chairs with 2 ottomans, and 2 end tables. At Tropical Sun Rattan, one man alone made samples of designs to be produced. He was known as Howard-the-sample-maker. These were hand made by Howard. For size reference, the club chairs measure about 6"x 6"x 6" The 3 piece sofa is almost 16" long when the pieces are placed side by side. All of the rattan frames are in choice as-made condition with all of the wraps intact. These old cushions came with the set and could use a cleaning.
